awesome find! i love how it's slightly bulkier than the Iron Man suit. i kinda hope the gun on his shoulder is retractable. first we see him w/o it then out of nowhere BAM! machine gun!

That looks bad ass! Hope they make something along those lines. Can't wait for IM2.

They talk about a War Machine concept on the Iron Man DVD.

It looks really good. Hopefully they'll use something similar in the next movie.
There are probably even more weapons hidden away. Awesome.

I want more weapons with perhaps some sort of large back addition to have the missle stark talked about during his first film placed on his back.
the headside gatlin gun is also a lil small. They should seem more like a hardcore centurion

Never cared for Warmachine, he's just a boring Ironman knockoff with a few guns added.

Cool! where's this from? I want to see that gun on his shoulder come out ONLY during battle though...

Very cool, making it more bulky, most likely heavier armor and more storage for more mini-missles and ammo.
I like War Machine, but as a support character, not very interesting as a main character, I am interested in what direction they will take the character in the new War Machine: Weapon of S.H.E.I.L.D. series.
And I would love to see Iron Man and War Machine together on the big screen, fighting side to side, that would be very cool.

I would like to see them making do something a little different with the face mask, something that makes me stand apart from the regular Iron Man a bit.

the face and main body of the War Machine suit has always been similar to the Iron Man suit, basically coz it IS a Iron Man suit repainted & kickassificated :)

Nice. I really like it.
Plus it will lend to an awesome moment if that gun is retractable. Where out of no where the gun pops out and fires at someone, sorta like that moment where IM blew up the tank.

Looks pretty cool very much like Adi Granov's version (http://www.comicvine.com/adi-granov/26-42356/195084-war-machine/105-406312/?offset=3) for a recent comic.
Phil Saunders who worked on the concept had some interesting things to say about War Marchine on his official blog plus he's uploaded a higher res version of the one protocida posted.

Oh, the Iron Man stuff keeps coming...
I was planning on holding this stuff back until the "Art of Iron Man" book came out (come on, you want there to be some surprises!) but it looks like thanks to the internet once again the cat's out of the bag. A bunch of stuff got posted to Yahoo Movies, including these three images I did at the very end of production as alternate suit designs that would have been in a "Hall of Armor" coda at the end of the film.
This first one is a concept for War Machine. I spent a lot of time on developing this suit, which was of course cut from the script about half way through pre-production. Originally it was going to be called the MK IV armor and would have been weaponized swap-out parts that would be worn over the original MK III armor. Earlier versions were red and gold, and would have been worn by Tony Stark in the final battle sequence.
And for those of you speculating, sorry folks, as far as I know, if there is a War Machine in IM 2, it's unlikely to be this one. You'll just have to wait and see!Source Link:http://philsaunders.blogspot.com/2008/09/oh-iron-man-stuff-keeps-coming.html

It's hard to imagine Don in the suit. Ive always pictured Terrence in my mind. But i know i'll get used to it.
Cheadle's skinnier.. he'd fit better in the suit

“These three images I did at the very end of production as alternate suit designs that would have been in a Hall of Armor coda at the end of the film,” writes Saunders. “I spent a lot of time on developing this [War Machine] suit, which was of course cut from the script about half way through pre-production. Originally it was going to be called the MK IV armor and would have been weaponized swap-out parts that would be worn over the original MK III armor. Earlier versions were red and gold, and would have been worn by Tony Stark in the final battle sequence.”
But before you get too excited, Saunders warns that “if there is a War Machine in [Iron Man 2], it’s unlikely to be this one.”

Oh, this is so sweet. I hope we'll see lots of different Armors in the Sequel. He doesn't even have to use them, just let them be in the background. Stark finished the Mark III suit so quickly, I want to see him toying around with a lot of different ideas.

I like the Deep Diving concept, but not the Stealth one. Seems too bulky.
War Machine, needless to say, is solid.
