Yea, the first ones were isometric games by a diffrent company so I expect this to be more like a vague version. Hated Oblivion but loved Morrowind so kinda so-so about it atm.

If uber graphics sexually arouse you then the pc is the way to go. If you prefer mouse and keyboard over joypads for first person shooters along with oodles of mods, same. If you are into achievements and what-not and prefer a joypad for these type of games and a couch rather than a desk then the console is probably the best choice. You can use a control pad and a HD-TV with a pc as well mind, but it's more work to set up.
I started playing it yesterday--it's so goddamn addictive!

The game runs pretty well on a mid end machine. Try turn anisotropic filtering and antialiasing down, should speed the game up significantly if you are having frame rate problems.
I know :whatever: Plus, the setup program does it first of all..

Nope, the first fallout is more than a decade old.

is it still worth playing my computer has parts in it that are probably a decade old, it can run diablo 2 though, wondering if this would be worth it.

Sweet, my buddy was showing me fallout 3 and I really liked the concept of mixing RPG type stuff with an FPS.

Fallout 1 and 2 are 2 of the greatest games of all time, easily. 3 doesn't come close, but is still good.
