How faithful was this exactly?

I mean can it even be considered a CB movie? As I have heard many peopl esay it was very different from the comic. However, I did read the free comic I got with the DVD which was the start of the comic and the first 20 mins of the movie was at least quite faithful to that.

The movie kept the title and name of two main characters. Thats about it. Which is a shame because, unlike a few of you, I actually thought the book was badass.

I liked both, each was something unique and while ppl ***** and moan about comic book accuracy...Wesleys the killer suit...if you saw James McAvoy in all leather and a gimp mask can you tell me you didnt think Joel Shuemacker had returned?

The Killer's suit would be very easy to adapt to screen.

This movie can't spell faithful.

They took a cool story, scooped a little off the top, and piled on curving bullets, made up characters, peanut butter rat bombs, and a target giving Loom.

And of course there will be a sequel:

Wanted 2: Revenge of the Fallen Rats

then he says how he wants to stay close to the comics with a superman movie.

I know the suit could have adapted but I kinda liked where the director took it to be honest. Though I missed the **** dude.

I think a lot of people dislike Millar because they don't know him and he doesn't stand out. He's actually the nicest guy in the world, who loves his job but hasn't let it go to his head. I hope he does get Superman because its the only character he will ever produce on screen without it being his own work initially. His words not mine- simply because he loves that character far too much.

Movie : Wesley joins a group of assasins that (initially) do good.
The only characters from the novel are Esley and Fox. Everyone else is made. up. Not only that but Wesley chooses for the good side . The world of wanted is firmly set in our world .

Graphic Novel :
Wesley joins a group of super villains who have rid the world of superhero heroes. They actually know that they're doing badthings and love every moment of it.
We are talking about beings that actually are composed of **** , parallel worlds etc. A TRUE COMIC BOOK WORLD

I want to read the book just to see how it's different. I know there's supervillians in it and reading Wikipedia it sounds like Millar's takes heavily from other influences: ****head is Clayface, ****wit is Bizarro, among others.

Love to check out; I don't know about buying but least checking it out.
