OK, in this thread, lets talk about the different possibilities or outcomes movies may have had if they would have went with their original intended actor, actress, or cast in general. For example, during the making of The Matrix, before Keanu Reeves was casted as Neo, they originally wanted Will Smith to play Neo, do you think it would have had a different impact or not really?
Also list other films that you think would have had a different outcome.

Well, maybe the frank darabont treatment of the 4th Indiana Jones film may have gone a completely different course. i never read a review, or read it myself.
I dont know that cast have that great affect on a movie, because the script is the script right, or is the interpetation of that script differing from one actor to another?

Actually I heard the rewrote the script when keanu was cast to better fit his bad acting

At least we'd get more facial movements than with Keanu.

Exactly :funny:

Sounds about right.

That certainly explains why Neo has very little dialogue, and spends most of his time looking awe-struck at stuff.
I wonder how people feels around him --or any other bad actor-- seeing him trying to.. act.. and failing..

What do mean how do good actors like Lawrence Fishburne feel around bad ones (even though I really liked the first matrix and some of his other movies) Keanu Reeves
yeah, not only actors, but the crew

Well, I hear directors love him. Keanu apparently has a reputation for being the most easily directed actor in Hollywood.
Sit, and he sits. Stare, and he stares.

It's like his acting is so wooden, he actually becomes the director's puppet.
Wonder if he'll ever make Pinocchio

Ok, I heard Robert De Niro was up for Han Solo, that would have been different, this is around the time he did, Taxi Driver so you have to think of how he would look in Solo's costume design
I also heard Joshua Jackson was also up for Batman in Batman Begins
Christian Bale auditoned for Robin in Batman Forever

De Niro as Han Solo? I have a feeling Han would've come off as an outlaw badass, rather than a handsome rogue.

That's nice. Now imagine every line repeated.. you know, De Niro style
Watch--watch your mouth, kid, or--or you're gonna--you're gonna find yourself floating home. Yeah.

I wouldn't have mind an outlaw badass, It would have been pretty cool.
De Niro's career would have gone so different if he would have taken this role. You have to think about the role the actor did take instead of this and see how that panned out for him or her.
