I never knew you were british Ace. I remember back when that tango'd advert was on (before it was banned) how children around my (and every school in the nation) would go around Tangoing fellow pupils, and damn it hurt. I think it was banned after it was done so hard to a boy he actually went deaf.

Anyone else remember the Uk advert (i think it was for mouth wash)about the guy that had a dog come out of his mouth (like he was vomiting it up) it was removed from TV after people complained it was actually making them vomit.

I remember an annoying face of people saying 'DiIYMe baR' in class when the Enfield advert was knocking about. Did my head in!

Yea i think i remember that one, we do get away with some crazy adverts. Have you seen that new "Ask Frank" one with the drug dog? How the hell was that allowed on TV?

I've not seen that one though i did just look it up on you tubeand think it's a bit much. But i suppose if it hets the message across.

Actually,(i know its not a 90's advert so sorry dfor taking the thread away from the title) but did you see the Churchill car advert where the dog swears (or is meant too, though i can never hear it) at the very end? (he says the 'F' word just before the 'uh uh uh' he does)

Oh they are pretty nice the white crunch bar, though the milk chocolate one is a bit dull.

As fot the name change i think dime bar became daim as thats what it was called across europe (same with Jif to Cif), I still call them dime though just as i still call starburst Opal fruits.
