Go Ninja go is not merely a hip hop classic. It is a AMERICAN classic. He is saving that for his American Standard Album featuring the hits of Frank Sinatra, Temptations, and Lynard Skynard.

The thing I love most about Vanilla Ice is, even when presented with irrefutable evidence, kept insisting that he wrote every last note of "Ice, Ice, Baby" and didn't cop any of it at all from the "Under Pressure" collaboration between Queen and David Bowie. It takes brass balls to be that willfully stupid.

I got no beef with 'Nilla except that he ripped off a great song's music and tried to sell it as his own. His music, might be okay. but serious if 4 out of 13 tracks are the same song then your CD lacks something.

Legend coming to Denver Nuggets game
by Benjamin Hochman on January 2, 2009
All right stop, collaborate and listen.
Robert Van Winkle, AKA Vanilla Ice, will perform during halftime at the Nuggets’ home game, Saturday against the Hornets. Parachute pants encouraged.
“Ice,” now 41, is known for numerous accomplishments, notably the smash hit, “Ice Ice Baby,” his fabricated biography claiming he was in a Miami street gang, his infamous performance in the biker movie “Cool As Ice,” his 2002 Noble Prize for Physics and his catchy single entitled “Ninja Rap,” recorded for the 1991 motion picture “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze.” (If you somehow forgot, the secret of the ooze was that it could mutate living beings, causing exponential growth, as seen with Vanilla Ice’s elevated hairdo).
Still, it should be fun to see him perform “Ice, Ice Baby,” while dozens of 33-year-old parents rap along from their Pepsi Center seats.
(“To the extreme, I rock a mic like a vandal//Light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle”)
Anyway, one must give the Nuggets credit for recently showcasing some wonderful one-hit wonders from the 1980s and 90s, including Coolio, Tone Loc and Digital Underground, whose wacky emcee, Shock G, announced to the crowd that it would be Digital Underground’s final performance ever. (Really, Shock G? You’re telling me that if some fella offered you a couple grand to play his daughter’s Bat Mitzvah, you’d politely turn it down because of your steadfast commitment to retirement? My guess is you’d be performing the “Humpty Hava Nagila” in no time).
