The Hype! Idol Stage was lit last night with not only multi-colored Christmas lights, but the brilliant performances of our Hype! Idol finalists. Who will be the first Hype! Idol? Stay tuned, because tonight’s the night you’ll find out!

Finalists, Shlee and JP, unwrapped some amazing Holiday-inspired performances on last night's show (http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=316901). Our amazingly-talented judges showed for the belated finale, and so did you! This is the closest set of results in the history of Hype! Idol! :wow:

The last show of the season will be filled with surprises, including maybe a guest performance or two. :cwink:

JP, you sang Christmas, Don‘t Be Late by Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Spoons thought it was "a bit too enunciated".
Pickles said you "[were] spot-on with the child hopefulness".
Erz thought it "really fit your voice".

Shlee, you sang Santa Baby by Eartha Kitt.

Spoons hated the song but thought you were "awesome".
Pickles said it was "very seductive".
Erz said it was a "very sultry rendition".

JP, you sang an original song, Carol of the Bamfs

Spoons thought it was "awesome".
Pickles said it was "very creative".
Erz was "very impressed".

Shlee, you sang Have Yourself a Merry, Little Christmas by Judy Garland.

Spoons "loved it".
Pickles thought you "[sounded] kinda sad".
Erz apparently doesn’t like it when contestants clear their throat in the mic. :huh:

JP, for your final performance of the season, you sang an original song, Quick Reply.

Spoons found it "hilarious".
Pickles laughed.
Erz said that you would be "very tough to beat".

Shlee, for your final performance of the season, you sang Reflection by Christina Agulera.

Spoons never heard that song before.
Pickles thought it was "very pretty".
Erz gave you the edge in the competition.

There's not much more to it, actually. It won't be anytime soon. But I am aware of a few people who are interested in participating (and have heard some of them sing) and can confirm that there will be some serious talent next season. Showtime will be co-hosting again. We're not to sure what the deal will be with the judges, though.
