I can't really make that much of a consensus on her acting because I've only seen her in one film, which was Underworld 3, but what I saw in that movie was pretty good.

This woman was terrible on The Practice. Terrible on Boston Legal. Terrible on Nip/Tuck, and would probably be terrible as Catwoman.

That is due in part to her not-so-good acting, and the fact that every character she has played as being so incredibly annoying.

Terrible is putting it a bit harsh! Terrible is like what Shaq was in 'Shazam!' Or Paris Hilton was in 'House of Wax'. Rhona is a good actress. She just sucks at picking roles.

Possibly true, but I would never say she's terrible. I think she has the makings to be great if she starts to pick movies that have really good plots where she can truly show her acting skills.

PS: I seen her only in "Get Carter". Terrible movie, terrible acting. Michael Cain had a decent role, but this Mitra girl was awful, other than that, I never seen her anywhere else and I'm not keen on seeing her either.

She's alright. It's her mouth that bugs me. Sometimes I think she was only picked in the third Underwold film was because she has a SLIGHT resembalnce to Beckinsale. Though if we're talking about beauty, Beckinsale is unmatched compared to Mitra.

Umm...that was the point. Sonja & Selene are meant to resemble each other, hence why Viktor didn't kill Selene. And for me, Mitra is much hotter. Then again, it's all up to personal preference. You actually can't go wrong with either.

Mitra is hotter than Beckinsale to me too. She has a sultry/sexy look, where Beckinsale has more of a good-girl look.

As far as her talent:

look any moderate to good actress can look completely incompetent if they pick the wrong roles. Just look at Jolie in Tomb Raider. Now she can act, but if you based your opinion of her solely off that performance, she'd be considered mediocre too. Mitra under the right director could/can be great.

I prefer her over Beckinsale as well. And I totally agree with what Golgo said. Under the right director, she can be good. She was pretty good in Underworld. I was never big on her acting, but I think she proved herself in that movie.
