The Electric Six Appreciation Thread

I was first introduced to them here in the Best of Youtube thread with the Gay Bar music video...i then checked out a few more songs from their Fire album and was instantly hooked. They are insanely hilarious and yet talented...the lead singer's name is Dick Valentine (epic)...and they are Disco Rock (which is amazing).

They continue to make music and I just recently saw them in concert. Dick Valentine came on stage wearing a cape with "Flashy Man" on the back and sang, well, Flashy Man...he then removed the cape to reveal yet another cape that said "Showtime" on it...and went on to sing Showtime. Absolutely stunning.

electric six are some good dudes, im friends with a handful of them. they're a good band, and i see why people like them, and i endorse it....but for some reason it just never worked for me. 'danger! high voltage' was always a great song though.

I actually never heard them till I saw them play live once.
My friend's band was opening so I went to check it out. I enjoyed the show and have the cd but honestly don't listen to it that much.
I really can't explain exactly why, I like the music just don't ever feel like listening to them.
