Did anyone watch First and 10 on Monday? Skip Bayless was ripping into the Cowboys like there was no tomorrow. It's those kind of people that actually make me want the Cowboys to beat the Eagels(Bayless is a fan of them) twice in a season.
He hates The Eagles and basically has a problem with everything Philly....kinda like BL.
Bengals Wide Receiver Chad OchoCinco vs Ravens Cornerback Fabian Washington:
Chad Ochocinco (OGOchoCinco) to Fabian Washington (FABEWASH31): “bruh you in trouble Sunday, you gone kiss da baby, this ain’t a threat it’s a promise. I’m shutting the front door on you!!!!!”
Washington: “trust me home boy it’s going down. Believe dat”
Ochocinco: “don’t do that, don’t talk back son, know yo competition son, this ain’t madden, you really hit to see me”
Ochocinco: “tell Vivica Foxworth he better just sit this game out!!!”
Washington: “this water running up hill. Str8 pressure”
Ochocinco: “huh!!! Shut the front door!! You betta pray you got help every down, watch the clevland film, 2 man every down<—[expletive]!!!”
Washington: “really if u watched the film u can c I had no help. But good night it’s past my bed time”
Ochocinco: “bed time, you ain’t gonna be able to rest, cmon son, have a dream like Martin Luther king son you will get embarassed Sunday”

Lomo? Sammy Morris will see the majority of carries.
 Maroneys been the starter and majority carrier for every game outside of Atlanta (in which he was until his thigh tightened up and Taylor came in and did well.) Morris has operating almost exlcusively out of fullback or tb in short yardage. Hes lined a few times in **** gon alng side Brady, but has seen very little action as the halfback with Brady under center. Maroney has more than twice as many carries as Morris, though both suffer from poor situational use and have terrible ypc (Maroney plays more of a decoy than anything as all they ever do with him is play action pass, while Morris has been exclusing shortline outside of 1 carry). Yahoo summed it up well:
If Taylor can't go, the spotlight is Maroney's alone. The dancing at the line of scrimmage must cease, and he needs to hit the hole hard. The coaches also can help his production by finding him open spaces.
Maroney has thrived as a pass receiver, evidenced by a 17-yard gain vs. Baltimore. Abandoning the run can't be an option.
I bolded that because thats been a much bigger problem them dancing....running into walls/having to evade several defenders in the backfield has caused him to dance more than anything.
Maybe they can feed Maroney the ball the way they did when he owned in 2007, or perhaps theyll go back to throwing every play.

Hes not an NFL runner. He is too slow. The players he tooled on in the preseason are currently in another profession. It took him, 26 carries? to get 100 yards. If they give Maroney 26 carries in a game...I would be shocked if the total was under 125. Minimum.

Is this flag football? (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/10192598/Week-5-preview:-Is-this-flag-football?)
Every time we think the pansification of American Tackle Football has reached a point of absurdity beyond which it cannot possibly venture, the great game takes another step in the wrong direction.
The Ravens were hit with two roughing-the-passer calls in their 27-21 loss to the Patriots in Week 4 that were even more ridiculous than the two laughable roughing-the-passer calls the Patriots were hit with in Week 1 against the Bills.
The combined contact of the game-changing 15-yard penalties on Haloti Ngata and Terrell Suggs brought to mind a lepidopterist handling a butterfly.
LET THEM PLAY If anyone feels the pain of confused defenders trying to figure out the NFL QB protections rules, it's NFL on FOX analyst John Lynch, as he said in a Wednesday chat.
We get it. The league wants to protect the quarterback. But isn't that why he — like all the other players on the field — is wearing a helmet and pads?
That protection seems almost surplus to requirements when every love tap starts getting flagged. Defenders can't go high — contact between hand and helmet or helmet and helmet is an automatic flag — and can no longer go low. The window for where a pass rusher can drill the QB is narrowing to the point where every hit your team puts on a QB is followed by a breathless five-count hoping it didn't elicit a flag for being too high, too low or simply too hard.
The officials' willingness to penalize the most negligible contact on the quarterback has also given rise to the regrettable post-pass pleading that almost every QB engages in to try to get the flag. Never has the spectacle been more evident than when Brady was grazed by Suggs around the knees and turned immediately to referee Ron Winter and began his lobbying. Winter fell for it and the flag came out.
The sequence prompted former teammate Rodney Harrison to admonish Brady to "Take off the skirt." It was a dig and a demand that could be extended to the competition committee as well.
A lamentable 2006 roughing the passer call by Mike Carey on then-Bengal Justin Smith against the Bucs had established a new extreme of cottony softness, prompting Marvin Lewis to say, "I guess you have to cuddle him to the ground."
Lewis was joking. Three years later, it's no joke.
New prohibitions seem to arise every week. Sometimes refs appear to be making them up on the spot. You can't launch into the quarterback. You can't throw the quarterback to the ground. You can't "give the business" to the quarterback.
The bubble wrap is also spreading out of the pocket to other parts of the field. Defenders are told they cannot hit a "defenseless" receiver, a tough calculation to make when you're flying to the ball hoping to break up a 3rd-and-10. The officials are now asked to be forensic pathologists at a split-second crime scene and determine in the blink of an eye if a receiver was totally defenseless or only semi-defenseless.
When the Cowboys' Roy Williams got lit up by the Broncos D.J. Williams — on yet another hospital ball thrown by Tony Romo — it was the kind of clean hit that has more and more frequently been flagged just for the sheer, perfect force of it.
It wasn't flagged. Hallelujah. The play was a reminder of how great tackle football can be when they just let them play.
I have to agree with this article; it's becoming a bit too ridiculous lately.

I remember watching the Golden Gophers back at the beginning of the decade when they were a great running team with the tandem of Marion Barber and Maroney. Maroney was the one who got all the love from the media and was primed to be drafted in the 1st round, but I always thought Barber was better. Low and behold, Barber is better.
I love Marion Barber, I love watching him run. The reason he is injury prone is because he runs through opposing defenders in a Jim Brown-esque way. Barber is an animal. I wanted the Panthers to draft him in 2005, but we had to go and draft Eric Shelton instead, who is now out of the league. Good job, Marty Hurney.
And no, that isn't hindsight. Hindsight would be for me to say that I wanted us to draft Brandon Jacobs or Frank Gore. I didn't, but I wanted Barber.

Fun fact I just read:
Monday night, Minnesota WR Sidney Rice threw an incomplete pass. His QB rating (based on 0-1, 0 yds, 0 TD, 0 INT) was 39.6. Tubby Russell's rating for the entire season so far: 42.4.
Yes, there are only about 12 people on the planet that understand how the rating system works, but what's above is hysterical.

They both beasts but its easy to see why Maroney was the better prospect of the 2. Maroney was electrifying; at 1:20 that 90 yard touchdown is just awesome; the cut at the los is like a 120 degree turn and he does it seamlessly  They both are fluid and smooth, but Maroneys burst and lateral agility were just astounding for a 220 lbser.

Found this on another board and got a small chuckle out of it:
Denver Broncos outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil was flagged for roughing New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady Thursday, three full days before the two were set to face one another on the football field.
“I saw Dumervil chasing and sacking me in my dreams,” Brady stated simply. “So I called coach (Bill Belichick), he called the NFL officials office, and they took care of it from there.”
NFL Head of Officiating Mike Pereira confirmed the penalty, citing the NFL’s publicly concerted efforts to protect the league’s signal callers and the quality of the game.
“We don’t want our star players to suffer,” Pereira said. “Let’s face it, this is a quarterback’s game, and whether it’s season-ending knee surgery or scream-inducing night terrors, our quarterbacks need to be protected.”
“I really don’t see what the big deal is,” Brady added.
Dumervil, tied for the league lead in sacks, is expected to be fined up to $15,000 for his perceived actions. Fearing further league punishment, Dumervil declined to comment.

I like the QB protection, but the receivers over the middle is a bit ridiculous. I mean your helmet or your arm grazes the receivers head and you are flagged for it. It's a bit too much. Obviously they are trying to improve safety so they can to extend the season in the new bargaining agreement, but I'd rather they shorten the season as it is now and allow those grazings of the helmet than have those rules now with a 16 game season or more.

Either way Maroneysi bouncing after 2010 when his contracts up. Hes gonna go somewhere where hell get the ball consistently. I hate reading stuff like that because he says "what changed between me in college or at the end of 2007...and me now?" and here is the answer.

His best ypc comes in the games he gets the most carries. His YPC is HIGHER in games when he gets the ball 22 times than in games when he gets 6. For most guys its the opposite.
What other conclusions can one derive from that, other than that, in order for him to do his best, he has to get the ball?

The Cincy kicker definately missed that kick. But, even if they said it was no good, game ends in a tie. So, I don't overtly care much. The Browns suck enough to where it won't matter if they got robbed on that one. Though they DID get robbed. However, this is bad in regard to the playoff picture, cause Cincy should have 1 less win. That is the bad part.
I do think the Browns will upset the Bills, though. The Browns are 2-0 the past two seasons against the Bills. I think they'll beat them again.

Alot of teams suffer injury, but injury isn't the reason Raiders suck; it's the whole organization that's the problem not just one or two players, although when your franchise QB is JaMarcus Russell, the Raiders could be part of the Pac 10 Conference and they still won't win anyway.
