i didn't like the last one.
live and let die is a classic and while it fits the film, it doesn't fit the james bond lifestyle
you only live twice is probably the most bond-esque of the theme tunes. calm and reserved with a dash of class and mystery.
they shirley bassey tracks of course stand out but she could sing the alphabet and make it sound good.
license to kill feels like a decent ballad.
i liked the one for casino royale, i thought that whole opening was surprisingly nice.

The best Bond music is not any of the songs.
It's John Barry's scores and themes. Some of the best movie music ever recorded...

i didn't like the last one.
I liked it--has a bit of the classic jazzy sound while still sounding modern. Then again, I haven't heard it in conjunction with the movie (yet, I hopefully will by the end of the week).

While I MISS John Barry, David Arnold has done a TOP NOTCH job with the 007 films from Tomorrow Never Dies to Quantum. I remember how much i hated the music in Goldeneye (except for the classic 007 music in the tank chase). But when I heard the music in Tomorrow, i was very happy and was glad to hear Arnold's music in the next films. but the song in Quantum was horrid in my opinion. the song in the QoS video game was far better I thought:

I have the song in my MP3 folder in the 007 section :woot:

Really it was more incidental music, but in The Living Daylights I always liked 'Where Has Everybody Gone' and 'If There Was A Man' by The Pretenders.
