First, he's a wrestling announcer. Then, a theater usher. And, finally, a French waiter. So...what's next for Mr. Campbell? Any ideas and/or suggestions?

He should be the priest that marries Peter and MJ at the end of the movie... On a hilltop, like Peter suggests in Spider-Man 2.

A construction worker who spots Lizard. Or something along those lines.
And since I know someone is bound to mention it, I would be alright with him being Mysterio if they wanted to put him in the movies.

his interaction is always with Peter so I would assume something along those lines
the priest is a great idea.
I remember someone once said that he could very well be the chameleon based on the change of identities
or Mysterio based on the acting etc
Slowly bidding his time, learning who Peter Parker really is to destroy Spider-Man
I doubt something like this would be green lit by Marvel but Raimi would probably think of it
odds are its another cameo.

As long as Bruce Campbell is in it, then it's all good. I don't really care about what he is in his cameo. He's going to rock it no matter what.
The addition of Bruce Campbell makes any movie better. True story.

This put a really stupid grin on my face. I really like this suggestion. :woot:

Bruce Campbell should be Mysterio. What better way to tie all his cameos together? Either make him some clown "trying" to be a superhero or make him the villian on some Spidey tv show within the film.
SuperFerret

I'd enjoy him as Mysterio, but would it really tie all his cameos together? And why do we need to tie them together?
Son Of Logan
03-19-2009, 03:52 PM
You don't have to tie them all together, but wouldn't it be a cool idea to insinuate that Mysterio, an actor, was portrayed in all of the films as a struggling entertainer?

this is tough. but i think Raimi might keep him on the funny side, since the first 3 cameos are funny, although i could imagine him playing Mysterio, as a side villian, but failing of course to beat Spidey lol

Campbell as one of the construction workers in the sewers when Lizard comes.
It would be sweet, like somethign back in SM2, with Ock in the hospital.
A nod to Bruce being Ash where he attempts to fight back against the Lizard, but then is killed.

I love the idea of him being the priest at the wedding. Add a little humor to the wedding, assuming there is one finally. And if there is a 5 then maybe, just maybe he could be Mysterio, he could really abuse the power of knowing who Peter is and exploiting it.
Jick09

I would never take him seriously as Mysterio.
Leave Bruce with his cameos. It's great this way.

Y'know, I usually hate these fanboy ideas of random characters being main/secondary villains, but I can actually see that happening.

I've already mentioned this before, but I would like to see Chameleon featured in 'Spider-Man 4' so Raimi can offer a tribute to 'Darkman' with Chameleon fleeing from Spider-Man disguised as Campbell. I believe that would be the perfect ending to 'Spider-Man 4'.

If they decide not to do the "final swing" again, this would be their only excuse for an ending(IMO).

As much as I would love for that to happen, it wouldnt be smart to marry them yet with gwen stacy still in the mix. It would screw up the already screwed up storyline lol.

How? MJ is the love of his life, Gwen is a cute girl he's friends with, and maybe has a slight attraction to. Doesn't screw anything up, and the story's not too screwy either.

Spidey 101
Gwen Was Petes First True Love
cap stacy adored spider-man, gwen hated him
Harry And Mj Dated
Norman Osborn kidnapped Gwen Threw Her Over Bridge Spideys Webs caught her but snapped her neck in the process of a nasty whiplash
spidey and goblin fight, glider impaled him as harry watches
Mary jane then comforts peter in central park than later revealing her secrets as to why she is always chipper and a party girl whenever she is upset. peter than realizes how similair they are by wearing masks.
and the story isnt screwed up lol ?
you cant have peter married to mary jane while gwen is still breathing and you cant bypass that tragic love storyline. Have we all forgotten that it went from some burglar killing his uncle to an accident from flint marko lol the story is VERY screwy !
He should be the priest that marries Peter and MJ at the end of the movie... On a hilltop, like Peter suggests in Spider-Man 2.That'd be hilarious if Pete gave him an extra second look of 'WTF' when he sees him for the first time. Like, "I know I've seen you somewhere before......oh wait here she comes."

The story is different from the comics, and asking for complete accuracy is just silly. (BTW Harry wasn''t there when Norman died the first time.) As a series, the movies' storyline is not screwed up.

Hahahahaha! Yes, this has to be the cameo. It'd be perfect. Everyone would be wondering when Bruce would show up and he's there at the end on the hill in a priest's suit.

see for yourself below from marvel.com
Harry Osborn, Norman's son, had witnessed the apparent death of his father at the hands of Spider-Man and removed the Goblin costume before the authorities could arrive, thus preserving his secret identity. He even bribed the coroner so that further autopsy reports would show no mention of the "goblin" formula in Norman's blood. And for many years, the world believed Norman Osborn to be dead.
