Had a feeling they may do the rerelease for the series when the movie hit. Ill still pass though, as I did with the original series release. I just wasnt a fan of the cartoon.

I was really surprised when I saw that there was only one copy left at Target yesterday.

I would've gotten it, but I was already planning on buying Battlestar Galactica season 4.0. :D:up:

I have the old DVD's but I went ahead and bought up the new set anyway, the episodes look the same as the old ones.

The background music to it is one of the best for an 80's cartoon, the same with Transformers since they both shared the same music.

for those who might beinterested the discs with the first 3 miiseries have an option wehere you can watch them eiter as episodes or in movie form
also set 1.1 has the first mini series and the first six regular epsodes sincegi joe wa originally broadcast five days a weekthere'sNO WAY the entire first season could be in one set for under $20.00 even ol sack face AKAcobracommander could come up with a scheme for THAT

this is one of those shows i'm eventually gonna have to buy because it was SO COOL when i was a kid... maybe someday, if i have a son, either the price will be down or i can justify spending so much on it by then... i'm surprised they don't have G.I Joe: The Movie listed as part of the complete set, though! i actually still have that on VHS... this was such a good show!

Yo Joe!

This, Transformers, Thundercats, and He-Man bring back tons of memories, but GI Joe is the series I have seen less recently. Which is a big reason I want to get this set!

I already have all of Transformers (plus the movie), I recently got season 1 part 1 of Thundercats (need to get part 2 soon), though I gave up on He-Man when I rewatched the first few episodes. My nostalgia won't be complete til I have GI Joe :cmad:

Especially since I plan on boycotting the movie :o

the movie doesn't look all that good to me, from what i've seen...

It just doesn't feel like GI Joe to me. It looks like they took the idea of GI Joe, and added flashy superhero-esque powers in order to appeal to that demographic of the populace.

How do you screw up an easy idea like a team of specialist fighting terrorists!!! At least Transformers films got the fighting robot part right (though the second film wasn't very good).

So I got 1.1 and plan on getting 1.2 next payday. My question is how many eps are one 1.2 cause I saw they are releasing 1.3 the first part of 2010
