Ideas for "Spider-Man 4" teasers/trailers

I know it's way to early for movie-teasers/trailers, but I had a dream of a "Spider-Man 4" trailer last night :) so I thought I write it down before forgetting it.

My trailer features Lizard, Kraven and Felicia Hardy as new characters. Actually in my dream Black Cat also appeared and had a rather long sequence :) but I thought it'd be better for the next film to only introduce Felicia, and then maybe Black Cat in Spider-Man 5.

Here it is:
· Peter and MJ meet on the street, they hug each other.
· They talk about wedding plans.
· MJ is busy (theater/Hollywood career?)
oOther scenes, glimpses…
· Peter is about to enter the Daily Bugle
· A new reporter stops him, wants to ask him something and introduces herself as Felicia Hardy.
o Other scenes, glimpses…
· Spider-Man web slings through NYC, then lands on top of a building.
· A shadow is moving behind him, he turns around and finds nothing.
o Other scenes, glimpses…
· Mrs. Conners tells Peter that her husband is missing.
· A news report on some unidentified animal/beast can be seen on TV
· Peter looks worried at the TV-screen.
· The Lizard breaks through a manhole right onto the streets of NYC and screams.
· People are screaming and running.
· J. J. Jameson talks about the incidents in Manhattan.
· He says that they need someone who is able to stop the Lizard.
· Sergei Kravinof is shown.
· He arrives at Elis Island, where a press conference is hold in his honor.
o Other scenes, glimpses…
· Aunt May tells Peter that he can’t save everybody, since she’s ill.


Maybe someone wants to continue or enrich my trailer idea :)

Something short but damn cool. If Kraven is in it, feature when Spider-Man bursts out of the grave.

FADE INTO.

A black sky. But with lightening and thunder illuminating the night. We can see some clouds.

PAN DOWN A heading of a cemetary. We drift through the setting, as rain hits the graves and ground, we can see lightening and hear thunder int he distance, creating a creepy atmosphere.

Some hints of music builds up... we come to one grave in particular, but looks like the others.

Lightening flashes.

The grave moves just a hair. Then, the dirt begins to move, it gets higher.

QUICK FADE TO BLACK, sudden tense steady drum beat

FADE BACK

Then as the music builds, moments later, the hand of Spider-Man bursts out of the dirt, feeling the rain drop on his hand.

Loud Drum Beat

Spider-Man beginning to emerge

Nothing like Dark Knight's teaser. I hated that so much.

I'm just picky that way. When I see a teaser, I want footage and something to get excited about. Not a symbol I've seen and some dialogue. I was let down by that teaser. Thankfully the trailer in November got me happy.

I want something like Spider-Man 2 or Spider-Man 3's teaser. Those were great.

Anyhow, here's something that I just thought of(give some of you a taste at how I want to see them handle Chameleon):
'Spider-Man 4' Theatrical Trailer:
Columbia/Marvel Studios...

Dr. Connors, in his lab(clothed in his lab attire), pulls up a vial and holds it before his eye.

"This serum can do... extraordinary things," Dr. Connors narrates.

Dr. Connors walks onto a podium.

"But there's one thing it can do..."

Dr. Connors seated down along the edge of his son, Billy's bed.

"It can give me back something I lost," Dr. Connors tells Billy. "All you have to do... is tell me what you think is right."

Billy reaches towards Dr. Connors shoulder, where his missing arm is located. Billy then looks up to Dr. Connors, as Dr. Connors smiled back down at Billy. Martha, Dr. Connors' wife, is seen standing at the doorway, with tears running down her eyes.

"No matter what... I'll always be the same," Dr. Connors promises Billy.

In the middle of the street, Shocker tries to catch Spider-Man with the forces coming from his gauntlets; Spider-Man leaps out of it's path, just in time.

Spider-Man punches Shocker directly in the side of his jaw.

"There's always a way, to save the ones you love," Aunt May tells Peter.

Kraven holds Gwen Stacy at the edge of the tower on the George Washington Bridge.

Chameleon and his gang of thugs hold Dr. Connors' family, captive, before Dr. Connors himself; who is encased in a thick-glass cage.

Kraven lets go of Gwen Stacy, as she falls away from safety.

Dr. Connors, hesitant, looks down at the vial in his hands.

"But there's always the question," Aunt May tells Peter.

Spider-Man falling down after Gwen Stacy, with a large distance between the two.

Dr. Connors opens the vial.

"Who can you save?"

Spider-Man, about to shot a webline at Gwen, pulls both of his fingers back.

Chameleon, now holding Martha in a headlock, pointing the gun to her head. "Take it or your family dies!"

'Spider-Man 4'

"No matter what happens... I'll always love you," Dr. Connors narrates. "I can promise that."

I would like to see something like the start of Spider-Man TAS. Two workers are down in the sewers fixing something. Then they hear a noise behind them. When they look back, you see two eyes glowing in the dark. They both scream for help as one manages to get away. He climbes out and screams for help. Shot of Spider-Man swinging toward the screaming worker. Just as Spider-Man is about to enter the sewer, Kraven hits him and goes in first. Something like that. This of course if Lizard/Kraven is in SM4.

"Do it or your family dies," Chameleon yells at Dr. Connors, who's inside a thick-glass cage, as Chameleon points his revolver at Martha's head.

Just something I thought of real quickly. I love the idea of this thread and want to throw out more ideas in the future. All I could think of right now is just a Lizard teaser.

That green preview screen

A shot of a street in NYC

The camera pans all throughout the streets in one long continuous shot, passing by civilians and heading into the subway.

In the subway the camera continues moving, it reaches the train tracks where a subway train races by.

Once it races by the camera follows the train tracks and into a sewer grate

The camera continues moving past all the filth and sewage where it reaches and focuses on a moving spider on a ledge/wall

Suddenly a large tongue snatches up the spider, followed by loud screeching roars

Through the shadows, piercing yellow eyes can be seen as the creature/silhouette slowly climbs up a nearby wall, where parts of a torn lab coat can be seen (with the tail being the last part to slither by)

Fade to black

A shot of webs (like the beginning credits of all 3 previous movies) is slowly zoomed out on, with The Amazing Spider-Man slowly fading in (and out) after a moment

The mother takes the hand of the little boy, he is playing with a small Spider-Man toy

They step onto the subway car and stand along with the other passengers.

The train begins to move and shots of the subway car moving on the tracks are shown

Inside, the mother and son once again. The mother looks down at her son and smiles.

Suddenly the subway car jerks and the brakes begin to screech. The car is slowing down.

The mother looks around, as do the other passengers.

The subway car lights begin to flicker on and off.

They then turn off completely.

A moment later the dim emergency lights come up, showing the mother and son.

The subway car begins to rock at small intervals with distant screeching (roars) being heard. Like a monster's screams in the distance.

The son says "Mom..."

A LOUD CRASH is heard (with passengers screams as well)

The Lizard and Spider-Man (with a slightly torn suit) come crashing through the subway car window, with the Lizard landing on top of Spider-Man, pinning him down with much force and struggle, yet Lizard still keeps him pinned down.

In a deep and incredibly loud voice Spider-Man yells "Get outta here!!!"

The Lizard closes in on Spider-Man with his tongue hissing and swishing around as people's screams can be heard in the background.

Cut to Black

A shot of webs (like the beginning credits of all 3 previous movies) is slowly zoomed out on, with The Amazing Spider-Man slowly fading in (and out) after a moment

I know this is a "Teaser/Trailer(s)" thread, but I thought I'd throw this one into the mix.

'Spider-Man 4' TV Spot #1:
Spider-Man, swinging down from his webline, pulls his weight back-up. Where he is now flying towards the helicopter above.

Flash-Cut to: 'Columbia Pictures'

Spider-Man catches the helicopter's pilot off-guard, as he suddenly lands on the window before him. Spider-Man then signals a wave at the pilot, "Hello, there," Spider-Man jokingly greeted.

Flash-Cut to: 'Marvel Studios'

"This city has," Chameleon begun. "A disease."

Cut to: Chameleon seated before his whole gallery of human-masks, where he smiles demonically, as he looks over all of them.

"...Want to take a guess at what that disease exactly "is"?" Chameleon asked, as Kraven then smirked.

Cut to; Slow-Motion: Kraven leaps off of the building towards Spider-Man, who has just leapt from his webline. As Kraven comes flying towards Spider-Man with his knife steady in-hand.

'A Hero...'

Spider-Man swings around a flagpole and kicks The Lizard across his jaw with both his feet.

'Returns'

ok here is my idea.

it starts with a news bulletin, covering a recent spate of bombings in new york. the reporter is giving information n stuff explaining how the police don't believe the bombing were terrorist attacks. then they show remnants one of the bombs used. the camera zooms in and it clearly is a pumpkin bomb!
the television this was all being watched on is suddenly turned off and in the reflection of the blank screen we see the shocked face of peter parker.
the screen goes black and then a sound starts, the crazed laughter of the green goblin gets louder and louder. words come onto the screen "this year Halloween comes early"
then bam! "spiderman 4 may 6"

honestly i was thinking of norman osborn .................................................. . sunk in yet? lol
he didn't actually die in the comics so they could bring him back ( maybe recast the actor though)

maybe when that funny butler guy from 3 was " cleaning his wounds" norman came back to life, without the green goblin crazyness he leaves for europe ashamed of what he has done. but then during his years in exile the crazyness returns ( now even more crazy!) and he sets up a master plan to kill spidey and take new york or something. but he totally HAS to wear a the classic purple n green ( like he nicks it from a costume shop or something lol)

and yes i am totally aware this will never happen :)

i think the teaser should be short and have epic music and not that much action (sounds crazy but hear me out) they should just have bits and little parts of action with the teaser, and if they go the Lizard route, then hold the Lizard till the 1st domestic trailer, hell maybe even the movie, but deff for the actual first trailer the teaser would be a great tease lol

Heres my idea.

It starts out black, then a shot of Peter with his mask of standing on a building. Then you here MJ's voice saying 'You know things are going to be different now, right?' Peter lokos down at his mask and you hear his voice go 'I know. But then again, my life has always changed.' Peter puts on his mask and jumps of the building, and it goes black. Then it shows Shots of Dr. Conners looking agry and in pain, then a shot of Kraven smiling with a gun in his hand, and then a shot of Peter and MJ at a restaurant talking. Peter says 'But hey, this is New York. Its a jungle out there.' The screen goes black as 3 claw rip through the screen, and you hear a monstrous roar and a gunshot. Through the claw marks you see a 4.

Yeah, thats about it.

Fade Into; Camera Rotating Around: With his back to the chair, while he sits steadily in his seat beside Kraven (whom was standing), Chameleon begins to speak with Gwen Stacy; whom is tied to a chair.

"You have an extremely beautiful face, Ms. Stacy," Chameleon begun, with the slight twist of Chameleon's head, the light from above reflected off of it and bounced onto Gwen's face. Chameleon then begun to chuckle, as Kraven smirked slightly. "Sorry about that, Ms. Stacy."

"...You have me for a reason, I suppose?" Gwen asked, hesitantly. Chameleon looked for a moment at her, frozen in subtle thought.

"...Of course," Chameleon finally answered, just as hesitantly as Gwen. "I have a plan, Ms. Stacy. I have a plan that is very special to me... Very special to me indeed... It doesn't involve killing anyone. But... if they get in my way... they will be taken care of by my... 'Friendly Neighborhood Brother', over here[Chameleon refered to Kraven]."

"Would you mind sharing your ingenious plan with me?" Gwen asked bravely, Kraven begun to laugh bitterly.

"That's quite cute," Kraven finally spoke. "Trying to act tough now, daddy's little girl?"

"Sergei..." Chameleon said calmly, turning to Kraven's alternative name. Gwen and Kraven both exchanged looks with one another. "Hey!"

Chameleon snapped his fingers right before Gwen's eyes, turning her attention over to him.

"...I want to show you something," Chameleon defined, as he then reached down into the bag beside his chair and pulled out a mask. However, it didn't represent a "Halloween Mask" of some sorts... it was almost human looking. Chameleon then puts on the mask [camera now finally pans fully on the character, Chameleon].

"...W-what is that?..." Gwen asked, almost in shock.

"It's me, Peter Parker," Chameleon claimed, almost as if he was absolutely serious. Gwen's eyes widened with terror after Chameleon had spoken, as his voice represented Peter's own almost crystal-clear. "Scary, huh?"

Chameleon then takes off the mask [revealing to the camera for the first time his silver, mirror-like face].

"You're going to play the damsel in distress for us this time, Ms. Stacy," Chameleon explained. "...But this time, the train's coming before the cowboy."

Chameleon then smiled, demonically, showing his crystal-white teeth.

Cut To; Text: 'Spider-Man 4'

Fade To; Text: In Theatres: May 2011

Heres my idea.

It starts out black, then a shot of Peter with his mask of standing on a building. Then you here MJ's voice saying 'You know things are going to be different now, right?' Peter lokos down at his mask and you hear his voice go 'I know. But then again, my life has always changed.' Peter puts on his mask and jumps of the building, and it goes black. Then it shows Shots of Dr. Conners looking agry and in pain, then a shot of Kraven smiling with a gun in his hand, and then a shot of Peter and MJ at a restaurant talking. Peter says 'But hey, this is New York. Its a jungle out there.' The screen goes black as 3 claw rip through the screen, and you hear a monstrous roar and a gunshot. Through the claw marks you see a 4.

Yeah, thats about it.

Not bad, but I am still not convinced Kraven the Hunter, would come off well in SM4, hunting in the concrete jungle and all.

And I fear Kraven's story would be either a) shortchanged, or fleshed out at the expense of Connors/Lizard. I would prefer to see Lizard as the primary villain and possibly a secondary storyline with the Rhino or Shocker.

I think he would be good for the concrete jungle, but I do see your point. They'd have to change him alot, probably not make him a hunter or something, idk. And I do think Rhino or Shocker would be secondary villains.

Spider-Man spins a webline to a single skyscraper [while in mid-air] and swings down along it. Pulling his weight back-up, he then leaps towards a helicopter above.

Dr. Connors kneels down on the floor to hug his wife, Martha, and son, Billy.

Rhino swings his elbow right into Spider-Man's stomach, which sends him flying towards a lightpost.

Text: 'Will Bring the Hero...'

Suddenly catching an arrow that was headed towards his head was Spider-Man.

Text: 'A Whole New Gallery of Rogues'

Spider-Man [who's knelt down beside a fallen Dmitri, who's back is against the ground] gets hit in the back by the two knees of Dmitri's, which swung hard towards the hero.

Leaping towards Spider-Man [who was headed towards him in mid-air] was Kraven. Who leapt free, away from the safety of ground.

Inside a hallway and catching hold of the foe's arms was Spider-Man, as Shocker blasted the gauntlet's energy towards the ceiling with the catch made by the hero himself.

Rhino swings his clenched fist towards the wall, to where Spider-Man was on the other-side.

Spider-Man swings around a pillar, in-order to kick The Lizard square in the jaw.

Text: 'Spider-Man 4'

"And they say 'Taming a Shrew' is hard work," Spider-Man joked with himself.

The Lizard immerges from the corner, a torn lab coat barely clining to his now reptilian skin. The lizard looks up, his slit like eyes narrow as he sees something above him. The music culminates, the camera makes quick 180degree turn to the ceiling of the sewer and we see Spider-Man, his suit torn, he no longer looks human as a thick fur can be seen through the holes in his suit. His feet have changed as their new monsterous shape have torn through the boots clinging to the ceiling, and he has grown 4 extra limbs, all of them with claw like hands. The camera quickly zooms in as his face emerges from the shadow, now a monstrous man-spider

The trailer starts out with the sun glaring on a building, and a sudden figure swinging through, soon revealed to be Spider-Man. He swings into the city,a don't eh screen goes black. Flash to Mac Gargan hiding behind a corner, then to Jonah in a fit of rage, the to Conners yelling in pain as he sprouts fangs and scales. Cut to black. Gargan is shown to be in a mechanical suit while being experimented on, then cuts to his tail smacking Spider-Man into a building's wall, then to Lizard in the streets roaring and attacking people. Spider-Man swings away from Scorpion, cuts to Him attacking Lizard, and then cuts to to black again. The words 'Spider-Man 4' slowly appar on screen. A sudden clips comes up of Lizard jumping at Spider-Man, follwed by the words "Oh boy". Trailer ends.

Slag, I have written a short story detailing how I would do Spidey4 (http://forums.superherohype.com/showpost.php?p=17012044&postcount=25). It's lengthy and may take approx 8 minutes to read; I do wish to hear your opinion on the content of the story. I know many will not like the villains I've choosen; but in my mind, they work so well together, in the content I would deliver it.

I would do Spider-Man 4 base off this teaser trailer I wrote. Detailing some major events that lay the ground works that lead up to Spider-Man 5. This is part 1 of a propose Back-2-Back film. Obviously part 2 would be my short story for Spider-Man 5. At the time, this was written when the thought was Sony may possibly do Back-2-Back films.



The Following PREVIEW Has Been Approved For ALL AUDIENCES By The Motion Picture Association Of America.

The screen is dark, a deep orchestrated gothic score permeate the theater. The words *even secrets can not lie dormant forever* fills and fades from the screen, as a familiar voice-over eerily resonates. “I know who you are.”

A quick scene flash across the screen of a shadowy, startle female figure listening to someone on her earpiece… ”Jesus, you must leave now! I’m in the embassy garage, go!”

The screen fades to darkness, as the gothic hum plays continuously. The words *the past clashes with the present* fills and fades from the screen as an eerily voice resonates again. “Level-5 classification… outcast, from a very prominent family.”

A quick scene flash across the screen of the same shadowy figure, hastily racing through a dark hallway…. into the arms of another shadowy figure, frighten with relief, “thanks god it’s you!”

The screen fades into darkness again as the gothic hum begins to build. The words *secrets are revealed* fills and fades from the screen, as an eerily voice continues to resonate. “A shadow you are… with the best across the globe, you have trained.”

A quick scene flash across the screen, of the same shadowy female face, suddenly gasp, as she leans back and pierce through the eyes of a shadowy figure in disbelief, softly proclaiming, “Why!” The mysterious figure gently lay the lifeless figure to the floor.

The screen fades to darkness, as the gothic theme began to build with soft thumping beats. The words *and old wounds are open* fills and fades from the screen, as an eerily voice continues to resonate. “I can use your talents.”

A quick scene flash across the screen, of a manly figure sitting in a parked car, as the door opens and a female figure gets in, as the manly figure speaks in a very concerning tone, “thank god you got out… we have to get out of here.” The manly figure suddenly gasp, with the look of shock, slumps over the steering!

Suddenly the screen goes black, the music stops abruptly, a momentarily silence… than an unfamiliar voice-over calmly questions, “Why should I help you?” The eerie voice recounts, “I know what you seek.”

A full and huge, resonating orchestrated score plays as a number of scenes flash across the screen.


Spiderman swings through the night city traffic, Aunt May with a distraught look on her face, Peter in angst looking over his shoulders, Spiderman soars off a building as a sensual voice-over warns, “looks like your little friend has a price on his head.” Gwen runs hysterically to Dr. Connors aid, “HELP, SOMEONE HELP!” Peter confronts MJ, “I DON’T KNOW ANYMORE”. Peter yanks his mask off with a puzzled look on his face, Betty hugs someone with tearful concern, Spiderman falls confusingly, a hude explosion light the city’s night sky, a businessman raises his glass for a toast, the Bugle staff stares at a breaking news report with shock and amazement, MJ sits in an airport terminal, a figure open a can of whip-arse on Spidey…. martial arts style.

Suddenly the screen goes black, the music stops abruptly, a momentarily silence… a hiss & soft, deep, growl permeates… suddenly something streak across the screen as the words *SPIDER-MAN 4* glistens and fades.


The words *May 2011* fills and fades from the screen.
