In terms of pace and styling I felt the CR was definitely like a Bourne movie. That's not a bad thing, I really enjoyed CR and I love the Bourne Trilogy.
Really? It did feel a bit "Americanized" at times, but to me it didn't seem like it had the same feel at all that the Bourne movies have. I enjoy them both as well.

Well the only Bond movies that have been made since the Bourne series has been around are Casino Royale and QoS. CR definitely wasn't copying Bourne, and QoS had that one apartment scene that was really reminiscent of it, but other than that, they really don't take that much from it.

Although, the TDK workprints we were shown at the sound panel had watermarks with the crew member's initials all over the screen. :funny: So if a copy leaked that had "HZ" all over it, then clearly it was Hans Zimmer who did the leaking.

Since I don't think Fox would be stupid enough to not identify individual prints in each crew member's possession, I'm guessing it was probably a print for test screenings or something of the like.

I don't have expectations, but I do have standards. The editing in this version is HORRIBLE. I sure hope this isn't the final cut. Everything is so truncated and insert shots don't make any sense in the place they're in. The editing is worse than in Catwoman.

well I can almost confidently say this is not the final cut. This seems to be a somewhat formed rough cut as there are some shots that have SMPTE codes in them as well as them showing scens and randomly having it cut quickly.

I have ridiculously high standards for movies that want to be good but are bad like transformers or war of the worlds. However a movie like this is on the level of an Ed Wood film where I just laugh at it so much it is good.

:lmao: Fox sure is having a bad day. In addition to the Wolverine leak, it turns out they mixed up a bunch of Slumdog Millionaire rental and retail DVDs. (Fox announced they were going to strip rental DVDs of all bonus features starting with March 31 releases.) So a lot of people who bought Slumdog got the stripped version, and so many have complained to Amazon about it, that they had to post a special note telling people to call a hotline at Fox if their DVD doesn't have the special features. :funny:

there were so many moments where if i wanted to I would just question why the hell all of this stuff happened... why did wolverine become wanting to save life...why did the team split up blha blah blah blah balh ablah blah lblah ablh ablah and then i realized the genius behidn it all... gavin just said **** you I dont have to explain anything. so then i shut up and took it.....twss

I think the Wars montage was trying to establish that, but nothing else made it clearer, because the whole Weapon X thing went by too quickly.

weapon x needed to be one whole half of the movie and the war montage I thought was just to establish how he fights a lot and that he could be tired. nothing really points to the fact that wolverine was better at fighting.

again weapon x segment should have introduced the team then show wolverine getting sick of rounding mutants or something.. then with the new upgrades for the team rebels and tries to escape weapon x team tries to get him back and confrontation with a weapon 11.... i dunno maybe its too simple
