I think it'd be pretty cool to have the Abomination be in the movie in addition to another big name villain. It'd be quite cool to see him squaring off with the Hulk again.
What do you guys think?

If it's the Masters of Evil or something then yes. If not then no, it'd be a pointless cameo.

I don't mean a cameo, I mean him actually being a part in the film...as in having actual scenes and being a villain, instead of coming out of nowhere to have a pointless cameo.

Only if he's on a team.

That's what I think...have a villain team full of badass villains with him on it. It could be a really cool idea in the long run.

if the hulk's in, and they both have substantial roles, then sure.

No, as far as I remember he died in TIH. Even if he didn´t, his story was finished at the end of the movie. The Leader on the other hand.... we probably won´t get another Hulk movie but we´ve got teases of the Leader in TIH. It would be nice to see him in the Avengers.

^I wouldn't mind them BOTH being in a Master's of Evil type group that fights the Avengers. But it'll probably not happen. And Blonsky is definitely not dead.

Um..what? The Abomination didn't die, he was clearly seen breathing the whole time after he was defeated, he's far from dead.

He's probably chained up with adamantium in a secret underground facility like in the the Hulk: Abominable comic.

We dont actually Know if Iron Monger is dead either... We just just assumed 'cause he got fried that it was fatal but they didnt actually say what happened for certain... It'd be cool if all of the villains from the individual movies were being held somewhere on the shield helicarrier...

Use him in a Masters of Evil role, in a sequel.

Well it's much more likely that Stane is dead but the Iron Monger armor probably still exists, though it is probably significantly damaged. The armor is probably in SHIELD custody though.

Even in a comic book world there's no way he could return. He was right in the face of the blast when it went off and he was 100% utterly incinerated.

if they do use the team up route, im sure theyl use rourke instead of bridges.
Voorhees

Why wouldn't they? Afterall, Rourke's character will likely survive...Iron Monger is deader than dead. If he comes back, it'll be a weak reason, trust me.

Don't bring him back unless he is in the masters of evil.

Only bring him back if they re-design the look to be more like the comic. :abom:

yes, if he is on a team, than during the end standoff he can go off against the hulk, if the hulks in it to, otherwise leave him out

Maybe they should mention whatever facility they use to keep him captured.

That would be a cool reference.
I'd say other than a line or two about him, that the Abomination should not directly appear in the Avengers.
Save him for Hulk 2 and have the Leader take control of him, or something along those lines.

in avenger 2 yes, but not the 1st one, because it wouldn't make any sense for the bad guys to decide to team up before the good guys do. But if he appear in part 2 they should show him in prison and release by the bad guys and only decided to join cus of his hate for the hulk.

Maybe we can see the helicarrier or Triskelion and we see a few baddies in the background. Like Juggernaut Abomination Bullseye something like that.

World class assassins need world class prisons, I suppose.
