I think he shouldn't be in either, but if I had to pick I'd say Thor.

yeah, he's pretty spot on in terms of looks for both, hell we all know he can act his way out of the bag, but the problem is that he's a bit too known or mainstream, so instead of seeing cap or thor up there, ul see brad pitt i costume. yknow what i mean?

Yeah, no Pitt. Overrated.

Yeah, no Pitt. Overrated.

I dont think he's over-rated at all. He's a great actor. But I think he's a much better character actor than a lead.

Matthew Damon would make a pretty good cap. I think he's around 38 now tho.

That could be a good thing for Thor. Brad Pitt isn't George Clooney... he may be a Hollywood pretty boy but he actually is quite a good actor when he puts his mind to it. I believe he could totally immerse himself if a role if he chooses to, and his name IS a draw.

he should be neither... but he is my top choice to Play Robert Reynolds if a Sentry Film is ever done.

Neither, but he'd be more fitting as Thor than Cap, because Cap is supposed to be this young soldier from WWII who got the serum while fighting in the war. Pitt's age will make him too old.

Do you really feel Marvel Entertainment can actually afford to pay Brad Pitt, weather it's Captain America or Thor? The man is an A-List actor and he's gone to demand either $15M to $20M to be in any film. He's not gone to work for peanuts. Tobey Maguire is gone to earn $50M for Spider-Man 4 and 5 up front for agreeing to shoot both films over six months. Sony has that kind of money, does Marvel Entertainment? I do think he would made a perfect Captain America, but can they afford him?

There is no 'Neither' option, but there should be one.

Yea neither. But I like the suggestion of him as either Hawkeye or Sentry.

Brian Braddock
04-13-2009, 08:12 AM
Yeah, Pitt'd make a good Sentry - both in terms of look and in being able to handle Sentry's complex physiology.

Yep that was my brilliant casting :o

Brilliant indeed.

Also, I realise now that I meant to say 'psychology' not 'physiology'.

NEITHER!!! There really should be a neither option. I wouldn't mind Pitt playing Donald Blake but NOT Thor. I hated him as Achilles too. He was okay in combat but whenever he spoke boosting morale etc I just cringed.

Another for the neither option.
