If a villain is getting redemption, the movie usually sets it from the beginning by making him a sympathetic and tragic figure. Ivan looks like one evil mother****er, so, I doubt he's going to ever forgive Stark and become a good guy.

Black Widow, on the other hand, could go this route if she starts off a villaim. Damm, I wish I knew more about her.

I have a feeling as well he'll stay evil the whole film, I just hope that's how it turns out. I just love that line of his from the leaked Comic-Con footage, about the sharks coming when Stark's blood is in the water. I know I just butchered that line but I can't remember it accurately.

He seems pretty pissed at Stark and has a vendetta but maybe at the end he sort of forgives him or just lets it go.

Honestly, I hope they don't go that route, we have enough villians from Raimi that go good or sympathetic at the end of the films.

That's Rhodes and Black Widow in the back, how do you think Rhodes even got the arc? Black Widow is working for Hammer, Hammer and Rhodes talked and Hammer probably said "I got the person to get it". Why do you think Rhodes looks so depressed in that scene? He betrayed his best friend.

I get that bro...She is a badass and is one of the things I am most excited for. But I have doubts that any non-boxer can beat a golden gloves boxer in a boxing match.


Who she is working for is a good question. If that is her in the pic with Rhodey one can assume that she participates in stealing Stark tech. Now if War Machine is built by Hammer does she work for him? Or does she maybe work for SHIELD against both Stark and Hammer? Time will tell.

I know right, I really hope the final battle doesn't all be War Machine with Iron Man. This film is an Iron Man film, so I really hope they do something for Iron Man to overshadow War Machine.

But I guess this indeed would be a Sub-plot to The Avengers where is, Not every hero could make it alone.

And the film ends this time with Tony going to Nick Fury, and he asks to shed some light on his offer.

That would be cool if it really was to happen. I wonder if Tony finds out that his new assistant really is Black Widow. Well he would have to for continuity of The Avengers.

I bet that IM and WarMachine vs drones will be a big and cool fight, but I bet Whiplash comes out fully armored up at the very end, and Tony leaves Rhodey to handle the drones while he has a big final showdown with Whiplash. I'm hoping! That maybe there will elements of like during the 'Demon in a Bottle' storyline Rhodes had to BE Iron Man, and the brainwave interface started to mess with him. I can't buy he stole away the WM armor, and Stark goes back to find his best bud and take it back...although that's what happend. Whatever works.

I'm hoping! That maybe there will elements of like during the 'Demon in a Bottle' storyline Rhodes had to BE Iron Man, and the brainwave interface started to mess with him. I can't buy he stole away the WM armor, and Stark goes back to find his best bud and take it back...although that's what happend. Whatever works.

What's up with the drone army tho?
Whiplash might be primary conflict, but there seems to be some goodassed secondary issues too.

Did anyone notice that when they show Whiplash swinging his Whip he is using his right whip, but when they show him slicing Tony's car, he is using his left whip. Odd.

My guess is they manipulated that part to make it seem like his first swing was at Tony. But considering when he swung the first time with his right whip, the people in the stands were just standing and not running like they were while Tony was on the ground.

So there must of have been a car Whiplash hits before hitting Tony's. Jus thought I'd put that out there.

I remember in an interview with Samuel L Jackson, where he said we wouldn't see the the badass Nick Fury until the Avengers. He also said that h had some scenes with Robert & some with Scarlett. So there could be a couple of possiblities.

-She could be an actual spy, (All over the place) which is the greatness of the character. And technically she wouldn't work for Hammer at all, because according to the Comic-Con footage, Rhodey brought the suit to Hammer. So Black Widow & Hammer aren't affiliated at all. So all in all, she works for the government, which I guess you could say SHIELD.

We can assume that after the Stane conflict Stark built another new arc reactor.

Then he made the hall of armor and stored his old suits. Each suit has an arc reactor. So Rhodey took the mark 2

I like how the Mark IV(and presumably the Mark V) are slimmer than the Mark III, especially in the torso region. One thing that kinda bugged me about the Mark III in the first film was that it made Tony's shoulders seem too wide in comparison to the size of his head at least when he didn't have his helmet on or had his face-plate up. Looks like they fixed that.

Even though the armor display was from Comic Con in the movie Stark still rebuilds the Mark I(which Iron Monger stormed through) and fixed the Mark III for display purposes and reference for future models
