yea, im hoping that they show the actual film instead of the first film just like that theater that showed Star Trek

Yea I got tickets for this thing too. I really dont mind spending my night watching T1 in IMAX, but Im hoping this is worth my while. Plus the new trailer got bootlegged, so that cat is out of the bag...

For the Phoenix date the lady emailed me saying my name was on a list and to show up early and bring a guest. I'm assuming they will just check my ID with the guest list. I'm not sure if this is for every place though.

See, I emailed the LA one and they didn't even ask for my name. I just got an email back saying
"Hello! And thank you for RSVPing. You are on the list and if you don't have a screening pass just print out the pass attached" blah blah. I printed it out and it says it admits two but honestly, it looks like I made the pass.

the email passes seem to be all they did for this. it doesnt seem that exclusive anyways, anyone can probably show up and get into this thing. i dont think it will be a big deal..

Yeah anyone can just show up and get a pass and wait in line. I rsvp and I still had to wait in line. At the end the pass were useless as no one checked. After watching the trailer I left.

because i dont have my car and told my friend to use his car, hes was going too, and found out his car was stolen sorta by his mom's boyfriend and also it was raining hard so it was impossible to go

They gave us free Action Figures. Transforming Optimus Prime and Megatron!
News channels showed up and also a local radio station. They were pretty excited.
Only two people showed up as Transformers and they were girls. Haha.

Unfortunately, it wasnt ROTF.
BUT Michael Bay, Shia Labeouf, and Tyrese were there!
Bay seemed pretty shy though. He basically just said that they had filmed their last shot that day and thats why they were there.
Tyrese was the most excited there. He was making the crowd go crazy and making us shout "TRAILER" and "ONE MORE TIME".
We got to see it 3 times and...WOW. :grin:
Cant wait!!!!

Shia just seems like a really normal person. I used to hate on the guy because of all the roles he has gotten lately, but you have to admit that he seems like he is really down to earth and doesn't buy into his own hype.

This looks like it was a very cool event and very cool that Bay & co. came out for it.

Nobody dressed up at the showing yesterday here in Atlanta. It was kind of a last minute thing, so I don't think that part of it was promoted that much.

Since I was wearing a Decepticon logo t-shirt, I'm guessing that's why I was selected as one of the "semi-finalists" for the contest to win a trip to the LA premiere. I'm not quite sure if I'm going to go to the trouble of making a video to prove myself the "ultimate fan". We'll see.
