Cracked.com made a great list, which can viewed at:

Seriously, the King Kong and Ghostbusters are insta-classics.

And feel free to post any other weirdo one-sheets which may spring into your collective minds.

edit: Wow, I just realized I mispelled the title of this thread. Fail on me. If a mod would like to change it I'd appreciate it.

Oh crap, ANY Asian or European or Russian poster for an American film has been completely bizaare to me. Sometimes they flat out don't many anysense with what image is on the poster, plus the language problem.

Did you see the Turkey One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest poster??? WTF??? I would have gone to see that thinking it was the Shinning or a horror movie.

"Little known fact: The Turkish Director's Cut featured Shelly Duvall and swashbuckling zombies. Seriously, can you **** up the poster for a Jack Nicholson classic any worse than this?"

LOL

Agree'd. Captian Supermarket. Bruce Campbell's name on a Campbells soup can, cause you know, they sell Campbells soup in a Supermarket where the Captian works.

Now here's a poster that screams "Buy a ticket!".

Maybe they were attempting to cash in on the zombie movie craze...

Why do other countries always make their posters of our movies so eerie?

I posted the Czech "Ghostbusters" poster in the funny pics thread a while back. It is one of the most confusing things I have ever seen. It's like something out of "Yellow Submarine".

All of these are beyond FUBAR except the Deliverance poster. Maybe it's just me, but that one actually looks cool and I think it fits the horrific context of the movie. But some of those others... What a half-assed Picasso imitation has to do with Ghostbusters is beyond me.

Hahahahaha! Genius! Especially the One Flew poster! The Deliverance one is kinda good.
