About 40 minutes into it.

Emma Frost has no sister in the comics.

Wolverine loses his memory because it is a side effect of his healing factor. It erases traumatic memories to keep him sane - given his long life.

Noted.

Listened to this and number 20 while on holidays.

Someone made a comment about being flamed on the forums for your combined lack of knowledge.

Well here goes:
<flame on> You guys seem as interested in the superhero genre as George Bush was in World Peace <flame off>

If you want some Irish guy who isn't afraid to call a spade a spade (even when he knows he shouldn't) then I'm your man.

I enjoyed Wolverine, and will buy the DVD. But I won't be ripping it to my laptop in case I'm stranded on a desert island (er, that has mains electricity).

I didn't bother watching Wolverine.

Maybe it would be productive to offer topics of discussion than say "you are not interested in the genre" drmick

Here is some to start off:

- They "sort of" killed Batman in the comics (Final Crisis 6-7), and it looks like Dick Grayson is the new Batman (not confirmed), and Bruce's bastard son is the new Robin.Making a rare exception, Batman uses a gun loaded with a Radion (which is poisonous to the New Gods) bullet to shoot Darkseid's shoulder just as Darkseid unleashes his Omega Sanction, the "life that is death", upon Batman.[78] However, the Omega Sanction apparently does not actually kill its victims: instead, it sends their consciousness traveling through parallel worlds. Although the presence of his corpse would seem to contradict that he would be alive, at the conclusion of Final Crisis it is suggested that Batman has been sent to the distant past, as a man in the Batman costume watches the passing of Anthro.

- Review a trade every other episode, you probably find a few good stories at library if you are cheap. Since I am a Batfan I would normally recommend the usual like Year One, Long Halloween, Dark Victory, Dark Knight Returns, Killing Joke, Arkham Asylym... but a less orthodox one: Batman Year 100

- How comic characters can't seem to stay dead, Bucky Barnes, Jason Todd to name a few. You can wiki up on how they went about reviving him. Jason Todd should give you a gigantic laugh. Killed Superboy and Kid Flash like a year or two ago, and wam back again.

Actually, I did some reading on Comic Vine or Wikipedia or something, and Emma DOES have sisters. I believe it was in the Emma Frost series that covered her teenage years.

My bad, well her sister was most definitely not Silver Fox.

Definately not. :)

Coming from someone who liked X3, Wolverine was entertaining. However I agree with you guys that it was a really poor movie. Really, even I could come up with a better script.

I think one of the major problems with this movie is that it suffers from the same thing X3 did. Too many mutants. People complain that the other X-films focused too much on Wolverine. Orgins wasn't enough about him.

I don't think too many mutants is the problem...
I don't have a problem with too many mutants...didnt have a problem with that in X-Men...

The problem is when too many mutants are given too much screentime...thus subtracting from the focus of the story.

After listening to another podcast review of the movie, I realize that most of the things we hate about this movie probably came from Fox and not the director (aka more action, less real character development).
