Screen Name: Carnage27

Character you would like to play: Peter Parker/Spider-Man

Powers: After having his DNA combined with that of a spider, Peter was granted sensational abilities including super strength, the ability to stick to almost any surface, a "Spider Sense" which warns him of coming danger, and incredible reflexes and acrobatic skills.

Brief biography of the character's history:

Peter Parker was never what one would call lucky. He lost his parents at a young age, and was taken care of by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May.

He grew up as a boy genius, far and above the intellect of his fellow class mates, and was the constant target of bullying and teasing. But that all changed one fateful day when he was bitten by an experimental spider during a school field trip.

The following transformation was quick, yet complete. Peter was granted with extraordinary abilities. He found he no longer required glasses to see. He was warned before danger reached him. He had super human strength and reflexes, and above all he could stick to and climb almost any surface.

Looking to cash in on his new powers, Peter entered the world of professional wrestling, earning money for his Aunt and Uncle as well as himself. He quickly became arrogance, a side effect of young success.

But Peter was knocked from his perch when an armed gunman shot down his beloved Uncle Ben. A gunman that Peter failed to apprehend after the criminal as he held up the wrestling promoter Parker worked for.

Instead of throwing his life away to grief, Peter held onto Uncle Ben's most powerful words, "With great power comes great responsibility." He used his powers to become the crime fighting Spider-Man, and has saved the citizens of Earth from many a threat.

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: Spidey has always been, and will always be my favorite comic hero. From his humor to his genius intellect, everything about Spidey is great.

What can you bring to this game?: A dedicated, passionate player.

Color and font you plan on using for your character's speech: Blue Comic Sans for Peter/Bold when in costume

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: Spidey is such an important character, that I don't see myself rushing posts for him. Once at day at the most.

I've gone up against the most heinous villains in the world. I've taken care of drug dealers, mobsters, murderers, and maniacs. Heck, I've even helped to stop a devourer of planets. But today, I, Peter Parker, am facing the deadliest enemy of all.

An angry girlfriend.

"I cannot believe how you've been acting towards me lately," Babs starts angrily over the phone. "Ignoring my calls, barely talking when you do pick up, spending so much time with Gwen."

I can't really blame her for being mad. All the things she's saying are true. But there has been so much to deal with. Superman appointing me to put together a team of meta-teens, Harry's possible drug issues, and most importantly the new Goblin/Fisk feud. Honestly, I just haven't had a lot of time-

"Peter, are you even listening to me!?" Babs breaks me from my own thoughts.

"Yea, I am. I've just been really busy lately. I'm a high school student who fights guys that look like Rocky Horror Picture Show rejects for a living, Babs. All I can say is that I'm sorry and I'll try to do better."

Ter-freaking-rific, I think as I pull my mask over my face and open my rooms window. I let loose a webline and swing into the New York night, honestly hoping some idiot tries to rob a bank. I need a good oppertunity to let go of some frustration.

And like a sign from heaven, I see two police cars speed by, sirens blaring underneath me. I follow them downtown, where they come to a screehing halt infront of a bank.

I perch myself on a gargoyle attached to a nearby building, and attempt to get a reading on the situation, when suddenly one of the bank's walls blows out in a storm of bricks, and out steps...

I'm sorry about not posting (ever) as Hawkeye. He's a character I don't know very well, so there wasn't exactly a set style I could use to write as him. Plus, I don't exactly know what his role is, what the arc he's in is about, and what the deal is with his various relationships. I'm interested in playing as him, but I just don't think I've got the gusto to stick it out with him. So, until I get a better handle on what's actually going on in this game, I'm going to drop him and try and get more involved with Deadpool. The recent Disney acquisition leaves a lot of potential for me having some fun with the fourth-wall, and that's something I'm interested in. With the Joker, I've been pretty isolated, and a little bit hesitant to really dive in deep. Hopefully, with Carnage's arc, I can change that.

Character you would like to play: Deadpool

Powers: Deadpool was involved with the Weapon X program, and, as such, has an incredible healing factor. Usually, he's one to use weapons and violence in a situation, instead of his words. Wilson's aim is borderline perfect, with a wide assortment of weapons.

Also, he can teleport for no reason whatsoever.

Brief biography of the character's history: I've played him before. Weapon X, Wolverine, fighting, Origins. Yada, yada, yada.

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character:


Deadpool's a fun character to write as.
I want to bring some comedy to the game.
It's hard not to enjoy playing as Deadpool.


What can you bring to this game?: Really, the thing I want to bring to the game is a version of Deadpool that's more satirical than he is simply stupid. Granted, in order to accurately portray him, there'll need to be some aspects of idiocy here and there, but, for the most part, I want to try and be humorous, as I noted in my Peter Griffin application in Pages. What's more, there's a story that's just starting off, so I've actually got a story to start off with right away.

Character you would like to play: Floyd Lawton / Deadshot

Powers: Deadshot has no superpowers, but is considered one of the best assassins in the DCU, certainly making him one of the better ones in the OU. His aim is said to be so great that he never misses. None of his targets are alive today to dispute that claim. Of course, he is an expert with most types of firearms.

Brief biography of the character's history: Deadshot's family life has always been a bit....off. One might say it started when Floyd's mother hired him and his brother to kill their father. Through a series of unfortunate events, Floyd ended up killing his own brother, whom he loved deeply. Since then, Floyd has been entirely apathetic to his own existence, becoming the "go-to" man for many high risk jobs.

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: Mainly I've wanted to pick him up since I started reading Gail Simone's excellent run on Secret Six. So, when the opportunity arose to play Deadshot as well as RP again with MM, and people I've yet to work with, I took it.

What can you bring to this game?: A slightly suicidal hitman and beer.

Color and font you plan on using for your character's speech: Verdana, brown.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: As many as possible. Like you've heard that before.

There's a certain glamor to this lifestyle.

Floyd doesn't even feel the punch, even though he knows the fist has already slammed into his face and he is now falling to the ground. It's when he hits the wet spot that smells vaguely of urine that he feels it.

"OW!" he shouts, clutching his cheek where tomorrow's bruise is already making it's presence known.

"That's it! That was your free shot!" he drunkenly shouts, just barely managing to get to his feet by theatrically using his hands as leverage.

"Jesus, this guy." the large, muscled man exclaims. His name is Derek and Floyd just grabbed his girlfriend's buttocks. Derek does not approve of this. "Just go home, ya drunk."

"No, no, seriously. I'll kick seven shades of **** out of you. Come on." Floyd states confidently, as Derek turns to head back into the bar. "Or would you rather I take out some of my...excitement on that pretty little gal of yours?"

This time Floyd really felt the punch.

Brief biography of the character's history:
Kyle Rayner was a struggling-but-gifted freelance graphic artist. He lived and worked in Los Angeles initially, but recently moved to New York City. After Hal Jordan launched the last GL rings after the destruction of Oa, Rayner was found by one the last GL power rings, the powerful weapon wielded by each Green Lantern that allows them to conjure any form of matter or energy through sheer force of will. The ring's reasons for choosing Kyle to bear itself have never been made completely apparent, aside from Rayner having been in the right place at the right time.

Despite him thinking that he was the luckiest guy in his sector, it was what happened a few hours earlier that really gave him the idea that everything in his life was starting to come together, because Ganthet had summoned him to his chambers in the Attilinian palace with good news.

"You summoned me, Ganthet?"

"Yes. I have great news regarding the new Central Power battery. It is finished." Ganthet stated, his voice and expression as stoic as it ever was.

"Really? Does this finally mean we can find Hal?"

"No. Jordan no longer possesses a power ring, which means he still cannot be located as of now. But other Lanterns lost in when Galactus had destroyed Oa can be located, however..."

"Alright. Let's start ths baby up, then..."

With that Ganthet held out his palm and out of nowhere, Hal Jordan's ring had materialized from thin air, and in a shroud of emerald energy, it floated to the middle of the giant lantern, and once inside, a massive green light came through it and filled the room to Kyle's amazement and Ganthet's expectance...

Despite him thinking that he was the luckiest guy in his sector, it was what happened a few hours earlier that really gave him the idea that everything in his life was starting to come together, because Ganthet had summoned him to his chambers in the Attilinian palace with good news.

"You summoned me, Ganthet?"

"Yes. I have great news regarding the new Central Power battery. It is finished." Ganthet stated, his voice and expression as stoic as it ever was.

"Really? Does this finally mean we can find Hal?"

"No. Jordan no longer possesses a power ring, which means he still cannot be located as of now. But other Lanterns lost in when Galactus had destroyed Oa can be located, however..."

"Alright. Let's start ths baby up, then..."

With that Ganthet held out his palm and out of nowhere, Hal Jordan's ring had materialized from thin air, and in a shroud of emerald energy, it floated to the middle of the giant lantern, and once inside, a massive green light came through it and filled the room to Kyle's amazement and Ganthet's expectance...

Black Mask's most important weapons are fear and intimidation. He is known for his brutal and sadistic torture techniques, especially on the face. Black Mask also uses his connections to gather information on his enemies, and then hits them at their weak points, such as family and friends

Brief biography of the character's history:
The man who would become the Black Mask was born Roman Sionis, who from an early age was obsessed with masks and had parents who were wealthy and owned their own Company known as Janus Cosmetics. Roman Sionis inherited the prosperous Janus Cosmetics Corporation after his parents died in a very suspicious fire. It did not take long for Roman to drive the company into the ground,his last attempt at salvation was producing a failed product that resulted in disfiguring the people who had bought them,this led the company open to a Wayne Industries buyout. The loss of his legacy drove Roman mad and he turned his hatred on Wayne Enterprises.

Roman donned a wooden mask made from his own mothers coffin. However, in a freak accident Roman's mask became permanently burnt to his face as a living death mask.

Vultures, hyenas and f-cking leeches all salivating at the prospect of rich pickings as one of Gothams first families fell in spectacular fashion. But that is in their nature. I'll not deny them a rare taste of pleasure in their sad miserable little lives.

The police and newschoppers are already circling overhead.

Three goons lay on the concrete of the alleyway, struggling to survive. Batman stands over all three of them as light from the chopper cascades over his frame. Behind his cowl, his eyes narrow, and a slight smirk falls upon his face. The action had been intense for several seconds, but, now, it had subsided, and Batman's cape returned to it's position around his figure.

Good.

He stepped backwards, making his way for the shadows, surveying his handiwork. The news choppers were all here for a reason, and, what could he say? Who didn't love being the center of attention?

He took his time as he moved, steadily easing himself into the darkness, doing his best to look like he was simply walking away.

Suddenly, one of the thugs surged to live, picking up a firearm that had been cast aside earlier in the scuffle. Before Batman could react, the henchman had already fired a single shot, directly into his chest.

Batman flew backwards, and slammed hard into a brick wall, and, for a few seconds, nobody made a sound. Even the choppers overhead seemed to be silent as Batman's cape draped itself over his body.

The thug awkwardly scrambled to check if his friends were breathing. One of them was. The other wasn't so fortunate. As he leaned over his friend, he began to cry, more out of anger and panic than out of remorse or regret. A shadow rose eerily over his frame, slipping over his body and onto the pavement. When it caught his eye, he slowly turned, fear lacing his breath.

Batman stood before him, holding the slug from the gun in an open palm. He dropped it carelessly to the ground, and it clanged angrily.

"Hurrgh!"

The man's body sailed out of the alleyway with enough force to collapse the side of a nearby ambulance.

Batman leaped on top of the transport, stood silently for a moment, and withdrew his grapple, firing it into the night. With a heave, he was airborne, with police hot on his tail.

Yep, that seems to be the going trend of late.
But I'm not too worried, yet. From the Pages Of looked bleak, but it's slowly turned around and is chugging quietly along.

I know Mr. Immortal should be contacting you about approaching Iron Man to join his Avengers he's forming.
Hopefully, once Byrd gets his **** together, he'll be back as Daredevil. Really liked what he was doing with the character and it'd suck to see him go.

Some posters I expected to flake out, and they didn't disappoint. But that's the nature of the game.

Like most RPGs that seem to be on death's door, getting some fresh blood into the game would help revitalize it. There's still an assload of major characters left to Futurize (Hulk, Ultron, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, all the Spidey villains save Goblin, all the X-Men villains, etc).

When he was exposed as a mutant, Henry was thrown out of school and was forced to find another means fo his education. That's when Charles Xavier invited Henry to his school for mutants. Once there, the boy thrived under Xavier's tutelage. As time went on, McCoy graduated from the school and earned a PHD in biology from NYU. In his early 20's, a seconday mutation reveled itself and changed McCoy into a cat-like human form. Like the other X-Men, McCoy adopted a codename, Beast. He currently teaches science classes at Xavier's school.

Superman is a powerhouse, that has strength enough to battle the likes of Thor and the Hulk on even terms, speed at near Flash levels, durability off the charts; the power of flight; enhanced vision (x-ray, heat, binocular, microscopic); senses enhanced to superhuman levels; arctic breath capable of dropping the temperature to absolute zero levels; the rays of a yellow sun can revitalize superman, as well as increase his powers.

Although a being of near god-like power, Superman is not without his weaknesses. Kryptonite, the emerald green, radioactive pieces of his homeworld weaken him when in close proximity, and increased exposure as well as ingestion can be fatal. Magic is a fickle thing, often defying and outright breaking the laws of reality. As such, magic seems to bypass Superman's natural durability and imperviousness, making him practically human in that regard. The radiation of a red sun strips Superman of his powers, making him like nothing more than a normal man.

Along with his friend, colleague, and sometimes rival reporter, Lois Lane, and his best pal and amazing camera man, Jimmy Olsen, Clark has made many significant strides to expose corruption and criminals all throughout Metropolis.

Currently outside of Los Angelas, Superman is weary after his battle with the Devil Hulk, and is about to head back home to Metropolis to get ready for his date with Lois...

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: I like Superman, and how can I pass up on the opportunity to play such an iconic hero. Speaking of heroes, most of the ones that I play have a bit of a gray area to them (so I'm told :cmad: ), so I think playing the ultimate hero can be for an extremely fun challenge.

What can you bring to this game?: My lovable self, and many years of RPing experience.

Powers: The Man of Steel's body is able to process the radiation of the yellow sun, giving him a host of powers.
Superman is a powerhouse, that has strength enough to battle the likes of Thor and the Hulk on even terms, speed at near Flash levels, durability off the charts; the power of flight; enhanced vision (x-ray, heat, binocular, microscopic); senses enhanced to superhuman levels; arctic breath capable of dropping the temperature to absolute zero levels; the rays of a yellow sun can revitalize superman, as well as increase his powers.

Although a being of near god-like power, Superman is not without his weaknesses. Kryptonite, the emerald green, radioactive pieces of his homeworld weaken him when in close proximity, and increased exposure as well as ingestion can be fatal. Magic is a fickle thing, often defying and outright breaking the laws of reality. As such, magic seems to bypass Superman's natural durability and imperviousness, making him practically human in that regard. His origin is the same as the mainstream DC Modern Day Origin. Only difference is that in the OU Universe his Western Kingdom of Atlantis has been destroyed by the Fire Trolls and so it is just him and his wife Mera living their lives being one with the Sea and the creatures that inhabit it.

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character:
Well I took the character out of limbo but as soon as I did my task, I left him. I do not have extensive plans for the character, but I am back to take him into another arc; a life-changing arc.

What can you bring to this game?:
Underwater characters like no other.

Color and font you plan on using for your character's speech:
Bold, Orange Century Gothic font for the first half and Bold, Sea Green Century Gothic font for the second half of his speech.

Today marks quite a day for the Atlantean history. The duel of a lifetime for all to witness. Yes. Namor arranged it so that all the Kingdom would witness such an event. A Clash of Kings...nothing could be more entertaining. But more importantly, for morale King Namor does this. He has the full support of his people, while Orin--who may be King--is seen as an outsider; his Atlantean blood means little to the people; he is not one of them.

"Are you ready, Orin? I had hoped you spent your night resting for today, rather trotting back and forth in worry, of how you will meet Defeat today."

"The only thing I am going to meet today, Namor...is Victory at its finest."

There is no cannon fired to start the match, it is started only by whomever attacks first. The two swim around, both ready to attack and counter, and both determined. The ocean is calm, today; the tide...tranquil. Namor is the first to strike.

He comes at Orin with his speed, only to miss his first attack by Orin swift evade maneuvering. Using the whiplash of his dodge, Orin swims back around with his legs, kicking Namor in the back. Namor turns in fury, and chases after his opponent.

"This is how you choose to fight me? By toying and running away from me?"

"It is the only way to make the fight evenly matched! Why, you're so slow!"

Orin smirks, and Namor only gets even angrier, and picks up his speed attempting to grab his target by the foot. But alas, Orin yet again flips, and this time elbows Namor hard on the shoulder, causing him to fall downward. As Orin attempts to make an attack, he miscalculates the quickness of Namor's recovery, and is met with a brutal uppercut to the jaw by Namor's ascension.

The two are practically evenly matched, each bearing little, but still bearing, advantages. It will be a long fight, and it will be an ugly one. Both are determined to win. Namor fights for his honor and pride, and the pride of his people. Orin fights for justice, for the Fire Trolls. Should he lose, they will be slaughtered like animals. No being deserves such cruel consequences.

"I'd say, I'm mildly impressed!"

"Oh really, and why is that so?"

"You're lasting a lot longer than I imagined!"

Smirking yet again after his insult, Orin swims away, and Namor grows even more irritated and tired of his antics. It is a smart move Orin makes, using Namor's anger against him in this battle, but only so long as he keeps Namor's fists at bay and away from him.

Orin abruptly stops swimming, and looks down at Namor. Namor pulls his arm back as he swims up to his target, yet Orin merely floats still. As Namor makes contact, Orin catches his fist, and the two ascend with great speed from the collision. The two are now struggling to overpower the other, their hands clenched in one other's. Namor starts to show superiority as Orin winces slightly, that is until Orin headbutts Namor in the face, breaking the two apart. He then tries to knee Namor in the chest, only for Namor to catch his leg, and pull him close and lay a brutal punch at Orin's throat.

"AACCCKK!"

Orin grabs his throat, and floats backward as Namor floats with a grin on his face. He has made first blood, and he is proud. Orin coughs out some blood, and waves it away from his face as the water deluges it, spreading the particles away.

"You Western Atlanteans are so fragile..."

"Western Atlanteans? What happened to our people being one?"

"That was before I realized how weak their King is. Then I concluded that to affiliated my people to your dead ones would simply be...well, there is no better word for pathetic, is there?"

"Showing sympathy, is not a sign of weakness. Nor is admitting one's own hindrances and embracing it to improve and get better."

"How untrue. It only shows your incompetence. I'll give you a chance, Orin. Stand down and admit defeat."

Images of the Fire Trolls, who dwell in the Great Divide each through his mind. He sees the guards who watch them, and who probably abuse them, and then he sees himself, swimming downward with Namor and his council not too far behind. He finally sees Namor give him the signal for execution, and his fists start to clench. Such a vision is not one he can let pass.

"...No. Not incompetence."

Orin kicks his legs backwards, and practically disappears into the darkness of the ocean. Namor floats there, folding his arms in confusion. Orin has...forfeited? So easily? It was merely a test! Clearly he has no right to--

"AAAARRGGGHH!!"

Orin swims past Namor, make a vital blow on Namor's back as he does. He disappears into the deep yet again. This time Namor floats ready and in defense, just waiting for Orin to appear yet again. He hears swimming, and naturally assumes Orin to be attack from his left this time, and turns, only to get uppercutted in the jaw from below.

"ARRRGGGHH!!!"

Orin is using his speed to even the odds for his lack of strength. It does not fall too far below Namor's own, however Namor has a much higher level of durability. But now, his superior durability counts for nothing. Orin doesn't trick him once again, he clearly lets Namor show where he is coming from.

"You were saying something about...what was that, again?"

Namor swims forth to tackle Orin and they collide into the side of one of the many underwater caves. Namor has his hands clenched around Orin's throat, and Orin tries to get free, prying off Namor's hands. When all else fails, Orin brings his arms up, and Orin slams down with both fists at Namor's head, causing Namor to pummel to the dirt below. Orin descends, and lets his guard down as Namor takes his time to recover from the blow. Namor wipes the blood from his mouth, and to his amazement, he grits his teeth.

"Very good, Orin. You are finally starting to show some spine. I'd take it, what is it those surface dwellers say...'the gloves are off'?"

"You bet."

Character you would like to play: Oliver Queen/The Green Arrow

Powers: None, although Ollie is a master archer with pinpoint accuracy. He uses an array of non-lethal, trick arrows to bring down his enemies. Ollie is also a master of hand to hand combat.

Brief biography of the character's history: After washing up on the shores of a dessert island, billionaire Oliver Queen trained his body to peak human levels. While stranded, Ollie also taught himself to become a master archer, a skill he used to overtake a band of drug runners that happened to use the island as a cache.

Once back on the mainland, Queen used his new found skills to become a vigilante in his home Star City. Dubbed “Green Arrow” by the media, Queen used his vast financial resources along with his company, Queen Industries, to create an arsenal of trick arrows, in order to clean up the streets of Star City.

After Lex Luthor was elected President, Ollie became disgusted with America, and went on a trip around the world, leaving his sometimes sidekick, sometimes lover, Arrowette to deal with the crime in Star City.

Ollie now returns after the tragedy in Karhnaq, determined to rid America of Lex Luthor’s influence.

The figure stood silently as he stared into the ongoing abyss that was the Infinity Well. He was in his Mistress' domain now. One of the few living creatures ever to grace Her hallowed halls. Most would be filled with dread and despair being in a place so permeated with death.
Thanos of Titan had never felt more at peace.

The waters of the well swirled and churned as images began to appear. Images in answer of Thanos' question.
Thanos was not like his brethren of Titan. He was different, both physically and mentally. He was an outcast.
Since childhood he had never truly belonged to their society. He never truly felt loved by his mother or father. He was shunned by the other children, all except his mother and brother, Eros. Thanos was not alone for long though. Deep in the catacombs of Titan, Thanos discovered something that would change his life forever. A shrine dedicated to the god figure whom he would become infatuated with. Mistress Death.

He began his twisted experiments then on his fellow Titans, but he did so in the secret solitude of his love's shrine. His experiments were gruesome work, and not many survived them. When more people began to go missing, Thanos' father, Mentor, investigated the crisis and discovered the culprit behind it all. Furious that his wayward son had committed such atrocities, Mentor banished his mad son. Nevermore could Thanos set foot on Titan. Mentor was too weak to do what truly needed to be done. Too weak to kill his evil offspring. And it was a weakness that would come back to haunt them all.

After a hundred years of traveling the universe learning and growing in power, Thanos returned and laid waste to Titan, bombarding the moon from orbit with a mighty starship. Sadly though he did not kill his father, for, unbeknown to the Mad Titan, Mentor and Eros were both off world at the time. His mother was not so fortunate. One of the only beings to ever show him compassion, she was killed in Thanos' attack.

Although it was never known for certain, the survivors thought his mother's death is what stayed his hand from finishing them all off. Whatever the reason behind it, Thanos stopped his attack as quickly as it had begun and departed Titan once again.

Again he traveled the cosmos, seeking knowledge and power wherever he could find it. All the while carrying out foul deeds in his dark Mistress' name. All the while trying to find a way to make his Mistress feel for him the way he felt for her...

The swirling waters of the Infinity Well finally calmed, and a single image appeared. It showed a great wall on the edge of the universe. A wall seemingly composed of beings from some long forgotten world. A wall simply permeating with power.

The Titan smiled a toothy grin, "Ah yes, I should have known...the fabled Source Wall. The physical barrier separating the full power of The Source from this reality. If someone were to tap into that power..."

Thanos let the question trail off as he began to chuckle. The Titan's chuckle soon turned into mad laughter.
He had found the means to make his Mistress love him, and all the universe be damned. The Titan turned and began to leave the room and the Well waters went still and dark.

Powers: None that are know, although some claim that Joker’s apparent insanity is actually a form of “super sanity”, which is a form of ultra-sensory perception. This has never been confirmed. While seemingly off his rocker, Joker is capable of amassing a loyal mob of followers, and is able to put together crimes of epic proportions. Joker’s ultimate goal is always chaos, and will never balk at an opportunity to stir the pot. He is a whiz with gadgets and chemistry, creating many clown-themed weapons of lethal effectiveness. The Clown Prince of Crime is also a master of explosives.

Brief biography of the character's history: Almost nothing is known about The Joker’s past. As he likes to say, “If I’ve got a past…I’d prefer it be multiple choice!” One thing can always be confirmed, Joker is a force for chaos and anarchy.

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: He’s possibly the greatest villain in comic book history, and I’d like to take a shot at writing such a challenging character. I’ve also got an interesting plan for him at the end of the season, but we’ll see what’s going on with the game before I go through with it.

What can you bring to this game?: A villain, which is needed badly in this game.

I half stroll, half skip out of the downtown Gotham Bank, sawed off shotgun flailing loosely in my hand. Being back in Gotham makes me feel like that time me and Billy Mays got into Pablo Escobar’s personal stash. I come to a stop and wait for the Family Guy-esque flashback to start. Oh that’s right. I’m not on a TV show. Yet. I wonder who’d they’d get to play me. I bet it’d be someone like Johnny Depp, that French humping bastard. Anyway…

This town has always enjoyed my antics. It’s the only reasonable explanation as to why it’s so easy for me to get the ludicrous amount of plastic explosive I've currently got stashed away. It’s the only explanation as to why the Bat still hasn’t come to sop my fun like he always does. Honestly the size of the stick that plugs up his guano hole must be massive. I wonder where him and Bird-boy put it on their nightly adventures. Or maybe the boy blunder is the catcher, he could always take a beating.

“Hehehe…” I chuckle to myself. What can I say, sometimes even I make myself laugh.

The bank explodes in a glorious blaze of flame, the heat blasting against my face. Sweat begins to trickle down my forehead, smudging the paint that lines the creases of my face with it.

“Boss! What about all the money-“ the thug is cut off by a blast from my shotgun, his blood splattering across my face, showing brightly against the whiteness of the paint.

A smile creeps across my face as the rest of my crew pull our van around. As I get in, I plop down in the back, “Remember boys…It’s not about money…It’s about sending a message.”

I pause and look around at the guys, “Where have I heard that before?”

The van screeches away, and the message is left in flame on the side of the bank.

Character you would like to play: Kara Zor-El / Supergirl

Powers: As a Kryptonian, Kara possesses all the same powers as her famous cousin, Kal-El. Among these are superstrength, superspeed, flight, invulnerability, heat vision, x-ray vision, superhearing, and arctic breath.

Brief biography of the character's history: Kara was the daughter of Zor-El, older brother to famed scientist Jor-El. When Jor-El predicted the destruction of Krypton by Galactus, he was ridiculed by Krypton's High Council. The only person who believed him was Zor-El. So Jor-El and his brother made plans to save their respective offspring - Kara and the baby Kal-El - from dying with Krypton.

Trapped inside a chunk of rock, Kara's spaceship stalled and did not reach Earth until thirty-some years after Kal-El landed. Upon arriving on Earth - and encountering the Fantastic Four - Kara learned that her baby cousin Kal-El was now a grown man, using the powers granted to him by the yellow sun under the name Superman.

After living under the watchful eyes of the Fantastic Four for a time, Kara moved to Smallville where Kal-El's Earthly family took her in. Kal-El - known on Earth as Clark Kent - taught Kara how to use and control her powers, and she now follows in his footsteps as Supergirl.

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: I was the one who established much of Kara's in-game history, so I'm more than happy to take up the reigns again and continue writing her story. With the dawn of the Teen Titans, Supergirl is going to be a very fun character to write.

What can you bring to this game?: Reliability, dedication, and a hint of lemon.

"Ready?" Johnny asks patiently.

I stare deep into his eyes. Taking a deep breath, I close my eyes and nod.

He nods back. "Okay, just remember everything I've taught you," he reminds me.

"I'm ready," I assure him after a brief pause.

Johnny lobs up the popcorn kernel, and I watch it carefully. Positioning myself properly, I open my mouth. I have misjudged the distance, and I feel the popcorn bounce off my chin. Another failed attempt.

Man, humans have strange ways of entertaining themselves. Then again, perhaps this is just Johnny. I really don't know. I only know four humans - the Fantastic Four. They've been pretty nice, but I still wish I could go out more. But, of course, Reed always reminds me that it's too dangerous.

Not anymore. I have control of my powers. I won't harm anyone.

Johnny shakes the bowl. "We're all out," he explains - referring to the popcorn.

I smirk. "Not a problem," I reply. And in the blink of an eye, I race downstairs and grab a new bag of popcorn. By the time I return, only a handful of seconds have passed. I must say that I love my powers.

"Y'know, Kara, you don't always gotta run errands for Hothead," Ben reminds me. He is relaxing on the couch. "He knows where the stairs are."

"She likes using her powers," Johnny assures Ben before I can speak up. I toss the bag of popcorn to Johnny, and he heats it up using his powers. Within a minute, the kernels begin to pop. "So, Kara, when are you and I going to hang out - without Ben around?"

I arch an eyebrow. "You certainly aren't making a suggestion," I state.

He flashes that big smile of his. "What if I am?" he inquires back.

"Sorry, Johnny, I only like nice guys," I respond playfully. I wink at him as he pours the popcorn into the bowl.

"Shot down!" Ben announces from across the room. He seems to be enjoying this.

Johnny scoffs. "Don't laugh at me. You can only get girls who are blind."

Suddenly, Ben's playful demeanor dissipates. He gets up from the couch and stomps across the room. The entire floor of the Baxter Building begins to shake. "I'll ring your neck!"

Before I can intervene, we all turn at the sound of the elevator. Johnny and Ben immediately desist as Reed and Sue enter the room. "What the Hell is going on here?" Sue asks demandingly.

"It was nothing, Sis. Lighten up," Johnny complains. Those two are always at each other's throats. I suppose that's normal interaction for human siblings.

"Kara, Clark is coming," Reed tells me.

My thoughts suddenly change to Clark. It's been about a month since the Fantastic Four found me, and that was the day that I met Clark. Unfortunately, I still didn't speak English so we couldn't communicate. But after taking telepathic lessons with Professor Xavier in upstate New York, I learned to speak Clark's language.

That's when he dropped a bombshell.

Powers:
Rhodes was trained as an aircraft pilot and studied aviation engineering while in service with the United States Marine Corps. He is exceptionally skilled in both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft operation/maintenance and has piloted various aircraft at Stark Enterprises. Due to his Marine Corps training, Rhodes is an experienced soldier and formidable fighter skilled in the use of military weaponry such as small arms and a variety of unarmed combat techniques. In addition to being an accomplished pilot, engineer, soldier, and businessman, Rhodes derives multiple abilities from various hi-tech armors, either designed by Stark Industries or extraterrestrial in nature. With his years of experience with both the Iron Man and War Machine powered armors, Rhodes is skilled in armored combat and uses a more physical fighting style compared to Stark

Rhodes sustained several fatal injuries requiring an added life support system with cybernetic implants in place of his limbs and parts of his face.

The armor's computer displays can be projected due to holographic generators and the armor's systems are operated via a cybernetic link to Rhodes himself. The armor is composed of alloys such as titanium and Wakandan vibranium coated for stealth capabilities, and can be sealed for space and underwater travel. Armaments include sonic generators, pulse bolts, and miniguns. Besides being independent of all outside systems, the armor can interface with any system and has cybernetic interlocking capabilities that can integrate mechanical constructs to repair and upgrade the armor.

James Rhodes is an African American who was born in the South Philadelphia section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps, he served tours of duty in Southeast Asia as a combat pilot.

He is a long time friend and ally of Tony Stark, the hero known as Iron Man. Stark has repeatedly offered Rhodes a career working for him. However, Rhodes heart was in his military career. After being retired as a disabled war veteran and after taking several career paths, Rhodes finally took Stark's offer and became Stark's personal pilot, chief aviation engineer for Stark International, and one of Stark's closest friends and confidants.

He awoke in a bright room. The fluorescent lights hanging overhead hurt his eyes and he winced involuntarily. Most of his body was still heavily bandaged. The cannula in the back of his left hand itched and he hadn’t heard of the liquid that was being fed intravenously through it. His vision was blurred and his head swam in pain and confusion.

The whisper of a door hissed to his right and he felt a rush of cold air wash across his face. A man appeared at his bedside, a long white jacket over a grey suit and a clipboard cradled in his right arm. “Good Morning James. My name is Dr Thorne. How are you feeling?”

James lay back on his pillow and groaned. “Like I was hit by a damn truck”.

“Well, you've been through a lot. I thought you weren’t going to make it through. But I haven’t lost a patient yet, and you weren’t going to be the first. You’ll be feeling pretty weak for a while I expect, you’re doing better than I thought you would given the extent of your injuries”.

“What happened?”

“Well James..." The doctor swallowed and shuffled uncomfortably, unable to look his patient in the eye. "We had to amputate your limbs to save your life. You also had three broken vertebrae, a punctured lung thanks to two broken ribs. You had a shattered jaw and a cracked skull. Also, internal bleeding and bruising as well as various bodily scratches and crazes”.

Rhodes swallowed. His head swam. He was restrained to the bad and couldn't see the rest of his body. It couldn't be true though... hell, he could still feel his fingers! he could feel them right there on the end of his arms! Rhodes knew that was a common problem for amputees though. His rational thinking kicked in near instantly. “So… how come I ain’t dead?”

The doctor smiled, his thin lips spreading wide across his face. “Well, in short… you were. You died James and I brought you back. Thanks to pioneering technology and the sizeable wealth of the man that paid for this, I was able to bring you back. We've had to implant cybernetic technologies into your brain, your skull and your spine. It'll take time before you're well enough to undergo further operations, but with a bit of patience and time, we'll reconstruct you as best we can”.

James swallowed a breath, his mouth becoming dry. He scowled, his mind trying and struggling to drink in the new information. “Who paid for this and… why?”
