Character you would like to play: Wallace "Wally" West, aka The Flash

Powers: Wally's direct connection to the Speed Force allows him to travel at speeds that defy logic. Wally's body is surrounded by a invisible energy barrier while he runs that protects him from the rigors of traveling at a super speed. This field also protects those he carries.
Wally can also use his connection to vibrate his molecules fast enough to go invisible and intangible. Objects he passes through when phasing can be made to explode if he so chooses.
Wally is also able to steal the kinetic energy of an object, thus slowing it down.

Brief biography of the character's history: Gaining his powers through an accident, much like his Uncle Barry Allen did, Wally joined Barry as the Kid Flash. Their partnership was a dynamic one, as they cleaned up the streets of the twin cities. But the team did not last, as the two argued and Wally left the life of a costumed hero behind. When Barry died defending the planet against Galactus, Wally decided to take up his mentor's mantle, becoming the new Flash.

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: I love all things Flash, and Wally is my favorite Scarlet Speedster. That is all.

What can you bring to this game?: Experience in RPing.

The sun shined brightly down onto the twin cities of Keystone and Central. The bustling city was a working man's place, rivaling Detroit for it's impact in automotive manufacturing. Here all manner of vehicles were built and could be seen around the metropolis. From the crawling VW Bug, to the speed-born Lamborghini. But no car could compare the Flash, the Fastest Man Alive.

A red blur weaved it's way through the Keystone streets, deftly moving through the traffic and pedestrians clogging the streets and sidewalks. Wallace West, known affectionately as "Wally", was the latest to don the guise of the twin cities' scarlet protector. Following in the footsteps of his Uncle, Barry Allen, and original Scarlett Speedster, Jay Garrick. Always feeling the need to prove himself able to follow in his Uncle's footsteps, Wally signed up with the Avengers when the opportunity arose. He thought they'd be able to do some good in the world, despite Luthor's involvement.
He was wrong.

Instead of saving lives, he was party to near genocide. Khandaq was annihilated. There was no other way to describe it. After that, Wally knew that he had made a big mistake. But it was a realization that came to late. Leaving the team, the Flash returned to his roots...to the Twin Cities. With the Khandaq disaster still fresh in his mind, Wally now returns to focus on the basics: protecting his home town from the Rogues.
And it was a job in which Wally was always on call.

The explosion echoed through the city streets, everybody within earshot freezing in fear. The world seemed to suddenly stand still for the Flash, as the sound of the blast made him instinctively kick it into high gear.

Wally made his way through the frozen crowd, on his way to the billowing smoke that seemingly hung eerie in the air, like a black mist.

Never a good sign.

The Flash arrived on the scene to find a man about to hit the pavement after being flung from the exploding building. Wally carefully grabs the man and runs him to a safe distance. Returning to the fiery scene, Wally stops as the world suddenly catches back up. The smoke streams up into the afternoon sky and the flames dance wildly in the breeze. Inside he can see a shadow moving around inside the fire. The shadow gets larger and larger as it moves towards him, and Wally can finally see a figure standing just beyond the wall of flames. Casually stepping out with a metal box under his arm, the villain frowns when he sees the Scarlett Speedster lying in wait.

"Ok", Wally says with a raised eyebrow, "and who the hell are you supposed to be?"

It's quite simple.

Either traveling back in time created an alternate time line separate from the one in which Kyle was sent back (ala Nero in Star Trek), or the act of traveling back in time cut Kyle off from the future, making him immune to any changes made to it as well as any resulting paradoxes.

The evening sky was the shade of a bruise, dark purples and blacks hazy from the few clouds that continued to dot the skyline. Right at the horizon, yellow and orange gave way to pink and pale purple as the sun's rays slid behind the skyline of Gotham City.

A slender figure moved out from a deserted alleyway, blending in fairly well except for the yellow gloves and boots that were like a neon call sign. Bright red hair spilled down her back, glinting in the pale glow of dirty street lights. She looked one way, then the other, before tearing off towards the sounds of fighting coming from another alleyway.

A neon yellow object went whistling through the air, slicing into the elbow of a shadowed figure. A loud cry of surprise and pain pierced the night air, the voice husky and sharp with rage. A large man turned towards the direction the batarang had come from, his eyes alighting on the masked figure before him.

Hands on her hips, Barbara Gordon, dressed as Batgirl, stared back at the man. A smaller figure scrambled on hands and knees away from the man. He turned and aimed a kick at the victim's stomach, sending her sprawling along the ground.

"Oh, don't worry beautiful... I'll be right back for you. As soon as I finish this b*tch."

The large man bull rushed Babs. She moved deftly out of the way, aiming a hard karate chop at the pressure point in the side of the man's neck. He grunted and fell down, right into Babs' knee. His diaphragm spasmed as the air rushed out of his lungs. Deftly and quickly, Barbara hog-tied the man, shaking her head in amusement. "Every time..."

The woman sprawled in the alleyway looked up in fear at Barbara, whimpering faintly.

"Don't worry, I'm here to help you," Batgirl smiled as she offered a gloved hand to help the woman up. The woman stood to dust herself off, Barbara picking up her purse and the items that had fallen out during the attack. She turned to hand the purse to the awestruck woman, smiling faintly.

"Please be careful out here, alright? There's worse than this guy. I'll watch you out to the main streets. Call yourself a taxi, and stay safe, alright?"

With that, she fired off a grappling hook and pressed the release, flying upwards to the rooftops. The woman didn't hesitate, smoothing down her coat as she hurried out of the alleyway.

As promised, Babs watched the woman from the rooftops until she got safely to a well-lit main road. The woman hailed a taxi, and, satisfied for the night, Barbara leapt roof tops until she returned home.

"The Spectre is the most powerful known being in the universe, capable of virtually any feat."

Brief biography of the character's history:
A NYPD detective, Jim Corrigan was murdered in 1982 by drug dealer Memo Hawkins after Corrigan's investigation into Hawkins' drug ring got too close for comfort.

As Corrigan's soul floated through purgatory, he was approached by Archangel Gabriel with an offer. He could have his vengeance on Memo for a price. He could never let his soul be at rest, instead he would be the host for the Spectre, God's Angel of Vengeance. He would walk the Earth for the rest of his days, neither living nor dead, punishing the wicked for God.

Jim readily accepted, becoming the right hand of God and punishing all those who have openly defiled God's law.

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: I like the Spectre and his addiction (yes, addiction) towards vengeance. I also want to interact with the Marvel mystics and etc. I also want to point out that mostly all my Spectre stuff will be solo. I won't have him get involved in anything, I understand he's too powerful for that ****.

His name is Don Phillips and he lives at 316 Easley Street in Los Angeles, before that Mark Johnson and lived in Kansas City. He left Kansas just about the time four young boys' bodies were found in a field, strangled beaten and molested.

The same thing is starting to happen in L.A. So far, two boys around the age of ten were found in drainage ditches, dismembered and molested. Mr. Phillips sat in a parked car watching children at a playground on the other side of the road. It was a mild day in the City of Angels, but the pedophile is sweating. Wicked thoughts are on his mind.

He's getting ready to make his move when a figure appears in the backseat. The sudden movement catches Phillips' attention.

"You wish," The green-cloaked figure said.

"Get the hell outta my car!"

"I don't think so, see you're a bad man. A very bad man Mister Phillips...or should I call you Mister Johnson?"

He started to get out the car when the figure grabbed him by the shoulders and slam him back in the seat.

"Feel.....Feel the pain you've caused others. Feel how those boys felt as you raped and killed them."

The Spectre's hands start to smoke and sizzle as the pedophile screams in agony.

"GOD HELP ME!"

"God? God is not listening anymore. There is only me, God's Wrath. I have my ears open, and the only thing I can hear is your screams. May God have mercy on your soul."

Johnson started to shake and shutter as blood poured out his nose and mouth. He finally slumped over and collapsed into the car's front seat.

"Justice is served..."

Just like that, Angel of Vengeance disappeared, leaving Johnson's dead body in the car by itself. It would be almost five hours before anyone discovered the dead body. Two days after that would be the wake with no family or friends in attendance. The burial followed that evening. Don Phillips/Mark Johnson's body laid in a pauper's grave.

This all took place while his soul was burning in Hell.

Justice had been served.

Rhodes was trained as an aircraft pilot and studied aviation engineering while in service with the United States Marine Corps. He is exceptionally skilled in both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft operation/maintenance and has piloted various aircraft at Stark Enterprises. Due to his Marine Corps training, Rhodes is an experienced soldier and formidable fighter skilled in the use of military weaponry such as small arms and a variety of unarmed combat techniques. In addition to being an accomplished pilot, engineer, soldier, and businessman, Rhodes derives multiple abilities from various hi-tech armors, either designed by Stark Industries or extraterrestrial in nature. With his years of experience with both the Iron Man and War Machine powered armors, Rhodes is skilled in armored combat and uses a more physical fighting style compared to Stark

Rhodes sustained several fatal injuries requiring an added life support system with cybernetic implants in place of his limbs and parts of his face.

The armor's computer displays can be projected due to holographic generators and the armor's systems are operated via a cybernetic link to Rhodes himself. The armor is composed of alloys such as titanium and Wakandan vibranium coated for stealth capabilities, and can be sealed for space and underwater travel. Armaments include sonic generators, pulse bolts, and miniguns. After being retired as a disabled war veteran and after taking several career paths, Rhodes finally took Stark's offer and became Stark's personal pilot, chief aviation engineer for Stark International, and one of Stark's closest friends and confidants.

He awoke in a bright room. The fluorescent lights hanging overhead hurt his eyes and he winced involuntarily. Most of his body was still heavily bandaged. The cannula in the back of his left hand itched and he hadn’t heard of the liquid that was being fed intravenously through it. His vision was blurred and his head swam in pain and confusion.

The whisper of a door hissed to his right and he felt a rush of cold air wash across his face. A man appeared at his bedside, a long white jacket over a grey suit and a clipboard cradled in his right arm. “Good Morning James. My name is Dr Thorne. How are you feeling?”

James lay back on his pillow and groaned. “Like I was hit by a damn truck”.

“Well, you've been through a lot. I thought you weren’t going to make it through. But I haven’t lost a patient yet, and you weren’t going to be the first. You’ll be feeling pretty weak for a while I expect, you’re doing better than I thought you would given the extent of your injuries”.

“What happened?”

“Well James..." The doctor swallowed and shuffled uncomfortably, unable to look his patient in the eye. "We had to amputate your limbs to save your life. You also had three broken vertebrae, a punctured lung thanks to two broken ribs. You had a shattered jaw and a cracked skull. Also, internal bleeding and bruising as well as various bodily scratches and crazes”.

Rhodes swallowed. His head swam. He was restrained to the bad and couldn't see the rest of his body. It couldn't be true though... hell, he could still feel his fingers! he could feel them right there on the end of his arms! Rhodes knew that was a common problem for amputees though. His rational thinking kicked in near instantly. “So… how come I ain’t dead?”

The doctor smiled, his thin lips spreading wide across his face. “Well, in short… you were. You died James and I brought you back. Thanks to pioneering technology and the sizeable wealth of the man that paid for this, I was able to bring you back. We've had to implant cybernetic technologies into your brain, your skull and your spine. It'll take time before you're well enough to undergo further operations, but with a bit of patience and time, we'll reconstruct you as best we can”.

James swallowed a breath, his mouth becoming dry. He scowled, his mind trying and struggling to drink in the new information. “Who paid for this and… why?”

Brief biography of the character's history: Leonard Snart was a common burglar the night he broke into Cyclotron Industries in Central City. During his theft, he stumbled upon Cyclotron's latest prototype invention: a gun that could freeze anything to absolute zero. Snart took the gun and, after futile attempts to sell it, he began using it in robberies and dubbing himself Captain Cold.

Now, years later, Snart is the unofficial leader of the group of Flash villains known as the Rogues.

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: I've always loved the Rogues. Cold is probably my favorite of the group and I want to give JB and wieg headaches.

Rory just shrugs in indifference and goes back to nursing his White Russian. That's when I start to realize how long McCullough's been gone.

Mick watches in silence as I walk into the bathroom and find the new Mirror Master with a straw up his nose and a half line of blow on the sink.

"C'mon, Len...," he starts to plea. My hands around his head cuts off the cries of mercy.

"What the **** did I say?"

I shove McCullogh's head into the sink and turn on the faucet.

"We don't have much in the way of rules, but you don't touch goddamn drugs. You hear me? You want to be a ****ing junkie, you don't do it as one of us."

McCullough struggles against the water and flails against my grip. I pull him up by his hair and calmly talk while he gasps for air.

"I catch you with the nose candy again, I'll stick your head in the sink, but only I'll freeze the water."

In one final motion, I push McCullough against the wall.

"Understand me?"

He nods feebly as I turn and leave the bathroom.

"Everything okay," Rory asks as I climb back up to the bar stool.

"Yeah. But, goddamn do I miss Sam Scudder."

A NYPD detective, Jim Corrigan was murdered in 1982 by drug dealer Memo Hawkins after Corrigan's investigation into Hawkins' drug ring got too close for comfort.

As Corrigan's soul floated through purgatory, he was approached by Archangel Gabriel with an offer. He could have his vengeance on Memo for a price. He could never let his soul be at rest, instead he would be the host for the Spectre, God's Angel of Vengeance. He would walk the Earth for the rest of his days, neither living nor dead, punishing the wicked for God.

Jim readily accepted, becoming the right hand of God and punishing all those who have openly defiled God's law.

When the advanced civilisation of the planet known as Krypton was put into danger, it's top scientist rocketed his only son off the planet in a desperate attempt to preserve the dying race. Landing on Earth, the craft that carried the infant was found by a loving farming couple. Renamed Clark Kent, the boy grew up in Smallville, Kansas, where he discovered that he had abilities far beyond those of normal men. Told of his heritage many years later, the boy set out on a worldwide quest for answers, while discreetly using his powers to help other people. Taking up journalism while on his venture, Clark eventually returned to the US, and applied for a job at the top newspaper in the world: The Daily Planet, of Metropolis. Getting the job, Clark soon learned that he had a need to continue on with helping other people with his otherworldly abilities. The Kents, sewing him a costume and helping him invent a mild mannered persona with a pair of thick glasses, watched as their son left Smallville to persue his career in journalism. Brief biography of the character's history: Credit to ComicVine:

Rebelling against his rabbi father, Marc Spector was a heavyweight boxer, a U.S. Marine, and a CIA agent. Frustrated with the politics of the agency, Marc went on to become a mercenary. In Africa, he met a French mercenary, Jean-Paul DuChamp, who would become one of Marc's closest friends. Frenchie later became Marc's pilot. While working for terrorist, Raoul Bushman, Marc began to question his choices. In Sudan they stumbled across an archaeologist Dr. Peter Alraune's excavation of an Egyptian Pharaoh's tomb. There, Bushman killed the Archaeologist.

Marc, feeling guilt, attempted to help, Alraune's daughter, Marlene escape. Annoyed with his betrayal, Bushman beat Spector and left him in the desert to die.

Barely conscious, Spector managed to return to the ancient tomb. Marlene was there with her father's men and brought Marc to rest near a statue of the moon god, Khonshu Weak from his fight with Bushman and the elements of the desert, Spector died.

As Marlene cried over his body, Spector suddenly came back to life. It was his belief that Khonshu had brought him back from the dead in order to be the moon's knight of vengeance. Spector removed a cloak from the statue of Khonshu and confronted Bushman again, and this time, he came out victorious, thus Moon Knight was born.

Returning to the states with Marlene and Frenchie, the trio decided to fight a war against evil. Spector used his fortune from his mercenary days to create some aliases to infiltrate different aspects of society. One persona was that of Steven Grant, a New York millionaire. In the guise of Grant, Spector was able to make high profile contacts. Spector also created the persona of Jake Lockley, a New York cab driver. Through Lockley, he was able to make several contacts "on the streets." It appears as the act of juggling the different persona's put a strain on Spector's mental health.

The shady little bar could hardly hold fifty people. From the outside, you knew you were in the projects. Men came in and out, and so did their prostitute companions. From above, on the roof, Moon Knight watched in disgust. He was waiting for his buddies from the fight to come rushing home. He knew that this was where Bushman had used to work. It was also very possible for Bushman to still be there. Time would tell, not thoughts, and Moon Knight knew that.

A gangster wearing a dark blue bandanna suddenly came rushing down the sidewalk. He pushed past several hookers and stumbled to the ground before he could reach the door. When he got to his knees, two men in black suits wearing sunglasses exited the bar and picked the man up. He struggled and sputtered, trying to explain his situation. Moon Knight watched intuitively. He had never seen such sharp-dressed men working this far into the projects. Unless they were undercover police officers, which was highly doubtful, they looked awfully suspicious.

Moon Knight squinted and tried to stretch his hearing range to find out what was happening. The man claimed that a masked person had beaten everyone up, and that both the money and the drugs were lost. The guards looked at each other. One took a peek back inside the bar. Odd. He then nodded and the duo dragged the punk to the alleyway. The victim tried to scream, but a hand clamped over his mouth. The other guard proceeded to put on leather gloves and then pull a silenced handgun from his jacket.

The guard aimed at the man’s head, only inches away. Beads of sweat started to roll as the man watched the gun. It moved up and down slowly as the guard enjoyed his taunting. The guard then enjoyed a foot striking him in the temple and knocking him against the wall of the alleyway. The other guard looked in amazement and let the man go, reaching for the gun in his own jacket.

Moon Knight spun and clobbered the guard’s hands with the balls of his feet. He whimpered and rolled to his side. Moon Knight ripped open his jacket and took the weapon, emptying the ammo on the wet and slimy cement. He then proceeded to fling the gun towards the street. The revolver bounced on the pavement and shot straight into a sewer grate.

"What do you want?!" The man screamed, backing away.

"Vengeance" Moon Knight growled.

Told of his heritage many years later, the boy set out on a worldwide quest for answers, while discreetly using his powers to help other people. Taking up journalism while on his venture, Clark eventually returned to the US, and applied for a job at the top newspaper in the world: The Daily Planet, of Metropolis. When I was little, Superman was never really up their in my favorite hero list. All that changed when I saw S:TAS and Superman the movie, I've played him before, and I want to do it again. I mean, he's Superman, his symbol is know throughout the world as a showing of strength.

Character you would like to play: Vandal Savage - The Red Skull

Powers: Immortality, staggering intellect, tactical genius and an expert on war, science, and world history. At times, he can also possess a limited superhuman strength and reflexes, as a result of experimenting with formulas based on the old super-soldier serum.

Brief biography of the character's history: It is unclear how many thousands of years that he has been truly alive, but Vandal Savage had experienced all there is to see. Every war, every conflict... every single event relevant to the history of the human race. Savage knows the secrets of how mankind first walked on land, the origins of ancient religion, and the deterioration of our modern society. Yet rather than use his centuries' year old knowledge for the benefits of mankind, Savage found himself more drawn to the infamous monsters and killers of history's darkest chapters - such as the slayer Jack The Ripper, or the warlord Genghis Khan.

But it was the face of Nazism, Adolf Hitler, that fascinated Vandal the most. Becoming his secret apprentice during the beginning years of what would become World War II, Savage studied his mentor from afar and was fascinated... perhaps even enthralled by the monarch's delve into subsequent insanity and tyranny. As an agent for the Nazi parties, Savage readily committed unspeakable atrocities and high genocidal war crimes during the period of 1939 to 1943. Many of his crimes would become staples of the Holocaust itself, with Hitler doing everything in his power to protect the secrecy of his prized soldier.

On his first mission as a decorated General for the party, however, Savage met the man that would make the first true negative impact on his thousand-year-old life - Steve Rogers, better known as Captain America. When scoping out one of Savage's prison camps, the Captain proceeded to help free nearly a dozen hostages and overthrow many of the guards. When Savage realized this, he mistakenly believed he himself could take on the star-spangled avenger without consequence.

He was wrong. Spotted by many of his captives, Savage was severely attacked and beaten, resulting in a disfigurement that tore off much of his facial skin before he would be rescued by German troops. And though he was alive, his face would never recover, leaving him looking less like a man and more like a living skeleton; a fact of which he blamed entirely on Captain America, the only man who successfully opposed his fascism. Following the suicide of Hitler, Savage silently took command of the German party and embraced his new appearance, earning a new name from his countless victims: The Red Skull.

After Captain America seemingly died at the end of World War II, The Red Skull vanished aswell, preferring to work behind the scenes as he did so many years ago. Becoming involved in international drug operations and mob affairs, The Skull was given a mythical presence amongst worldwide crime syndicates from the late 60's to the late 90's, seemingly unable to be caught or be killed. Finally believed dead, the world moved on, and The Skull's enemy Captain America would return in the new millennium. But as he returned, so did The Red Skull, silently watching the Captain's growing career as a superhero expand across his native lands. He has waited for an opportunity for revenge for decades, and now, he may finally get it. And with Savage's hope, the world of today is about to learn what true evil is.

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: I think it's an interesting story. With One Universe, we've always had this creative freedom to go about and make changes to characters that connect them with both the Marvel and DC sides of the comic book spectrum. But only rarely has that opportunity been truly embarked upon, the most famous probably being JB's Dr. Fate/Strange character of last season. So instead of simply bringing The Red Skull of Marvel lore in to meddle with Captain America's affairs, I've decided to take a different approach, and make The Skull twice as dangerous of a character than before. I've got some truly twisted stuff in mind for the character, and want to let my imagination run free with being a sick and truly evil mother****er who's origins take him through every single villain of history.

What can you bring to this game?: A mouthful of ideas and a pocket full of sick, twisted fantasy - mostly involving Captain America's fried carcass on a stick.

"<Whuh... w-where... where am...>"

The man's slurred words echoed throughout the corridor, rivaling only the sound of dripping water. His vision fuzzy, his hearing faded, he felt as if he had drifted off into a deep sleep and awoken days later. He didn't remember much about the moments before. All he knew was that he was walking with his wife and daughter on the streets of Prague's town square, hurriedly trying to make an appointment. After that, it all went dark...

<No.>, he thought. That wasn't all he remembered. Something about... a car. A vehicle. Some sort of black van that pulled onto the curbside, blocking him and his family from making it to the other side of the street. He remembered shouting... yelling. He was initiating defiance from something terrible. His wife's shouting. His daughter's screams...

Instantly, the man became distressed with that memory fresh on his mind. He couldn't see, but he could feel the cold metal chained against his wrists and ankles. The damp concrete beneath his knees, as he realized he was laying down. His heart began to race, as he thought of where he could possibly be. But it only quickened with the thought of his child.

"<E... Emily?>", He asked weakly. "<Where... where is my...>"

Silence was broken. The man suddenly paused, as he heard something from across the room.

It was... music.

Specifically, a tune he had heard many times on the street, being played by street urchins and performers. It was a composition from Bach, one of his cello suites. A number one in G major. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwHpDOWhkGk) One of the composer's most famous compositions, heard around the world for decades. The light, soothing music almost brought a calmness to the distressed man who couldn't see, couldn't move, and could barely speak.

Almost.

"<And how are we doing, this evening?>"

The voice he heard was unlike any he had heard before. It was almost malformed... gravelly, to the point of distortion. But there was something else in it's tone. Something eerily calm and confident, despite the trying circumstances. The man sat up fully, hearing more noises associated with the origin of the voice. He wanted to see where he was, and who was with him... but something was blocking his eyes. Covering his entire head, infact.

The music only continued to play.

"<Who is there?>", The man weakly asked, feeling sore all over his body. "<Can someone help me?>"

"<Perhaps,>", replied the voice. "<In a manner of speaking.>"

Before the man could deciepher what that meant, he was suddenly given his sight back. With the removal of a burlap sack, which had apparentally been placed upon him during his transfer to... whatever this place was. The man looked around, hazily, as his vision began to clear. He was in some kind of old and dark furnace room, barely able to breathe from the fumes of the burning coal. Infront of him stood a hooded man, his back facing him, wearing a black leather apron over dark clothing. He was tinkering with something unseen.

"<Who... who are you?>", He asked. "<What am I doing...>"

The hooded man held up the back of his hand, motioning for him to be quiet. "<Patience.>"

Looking around, the man soon discovered that there were others in the room, partially hidden in shadow. They all wore some sort of identical uniform. For a moment, he wondered if they were with the governing party, or some sort of international sanctum. But the more he thought, the more he realized that it couldn't possibly be the case. These men were dangerous.

"<I realize this can be a very confusing time for you, Rabbi Merrein...>", The hooded man continued, slowly turning around. "<But unfortunately, it is also about to become a very painful one.>"

Merrein froze, as the hooded figure produced what looked like a metal branding rod. It's end was glowing and red, indicating it to be burning hot. The hooded figure began to slowly advance, as calm and easy as if he were an old friend. But the Rabbi was not looking at any friend. He was staring down the glowing brand, hoping, and praying that it wasn't for him.

His prayers went unanswered.

"AAARRRGGGHHH!"

Merrein fell on his back, as his chest now began to steam from the incredible heat. The pain was unbearable, and probably the worst he had ever felt in his fifty one years of life. As he lied down, screaming and writhing from the scorching wound, the hooded figure walked back to a table, placing the rod onto it.

"<You would do well to relax, Rabbi. Concentrate on the music, perhaps?>", He nonchalantly suggested. "<This is one of Bach's most famous pieces. A true work of musical art, which is a rare commodity for today's society.>"

The hooded figure turned his head, once. "<Would you believe I witnessed it's creation?>"

But Merrein heard none of it. He only focused on the pain, and it's blinding burn. Tears streamed forth from his eyes, as he struggled to lift himself back up. The hooded figure only focused on his table, pulling out various items that the Rabbi could not see. But he could hear the grinding of blades, the twitching of metal... all horrific sounds, for a man in his position.

"<P-Please...>", He begged. "<What... What do you want from me?!>"

The hooded figure did not face him. "<Want, Rabbi? Nothing. You have nothing to offer us.>"

"<Then wh... what do you want?>", He asked.

"<To silence you.>", The figure explained. "<You are a voice for a kind that has existed far beyond it's years, and must be eliminated piece by piece. You presume to give them faith, when they should be abolished. And that is an unforgivable sin.>"

Unable to respond to such an answer, The Rabbi curled up on the floor, beginning to cry from both pain and fear. "<I-I just want to see my family. Please. Please let me see them...>"

The hooded figure paused.

"<If you wish.>"

Turning, the figure reached up to his own head, and removed the obscuring hood he was wearing. The rabbi gasped in horror, as he saw the figure's grotesque features in full light. His skin was painted red, covered in what looked to be human blood. Tattoos aligned his body, as he peeled away his apron and shirt, dropping them to the floor. His face was distorted... almost as if it were nothing but the bone underneath. But it was his eyes... his peering, cold, and unforgiving eyes that stare down at him as if he were a wild animal that needed to be killed.

"<Tell me, Rabbi...>"

Merrein's face began to lose it's color, as he slowly began to realize what he was looking at.

Powers: Amazo is an cybernetic android built to have the same powers as all members of the world's Justice League. Each time a member of the JLA attacks him he only becomes stronger with in time, it has managed to almost obtain godhood status with it's sheer amount of power. My version of Amazo has the following powers; all of Superman's powers, Captain America's indestructible shield, Iron Man's armour components, Green Lantern (Alan Scott's) power ring, The Flash (Jay Garrick's) speed, Batman and Wildcat's fighting skills and any other member of the Justice League or metahuman whom attacks him he immediately gains a fragment of their powers.

Brief biography of the character's history: The former Amazo was created by Dr. Doom on his quest to obtain the power from the Source Wall and achieve godhood. The League eventually defeated this android. However on orders from President Luthor himself, the U.S. Government and S.H.E.I.L.D. have found some of Dr. Doom's and Professor Ivo's old blue prints and components to build a better and more destructive force of Amazo to fight the Justice League and eventually kill them.

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: Amazo is a great character with an great concept behind him of a created life form that could potentially achieve godhood. This version will also aid for my arc with President Luthor trying to win back the people and public trust my showing the world how dangerous a group of people like the Justice League are to the world.

They joined this company to serve and protect the world from immediate danger, instead they were now pawns of a man bent on destroying a force similar to them and their cause. The scientists had their ethical difficulties with this job that they given to carry out, but how could they stop? Could they just tell the President of the United States "No sorry, I disagree with this task.." no; instead they believed his reasoning that and their new leader Amanda Waller also told them what to think. They weren't even doing their own studies, they were carrying out Luthor's instructions and perhaps that was more worrying then simply following his orders.

Amanda Waller came inside the lab with her hands behind her back and her ever present stern face expecting the results.

"Is it ready!?" she asked expecting a quick answer; one of the scientists slowly got the answer out. "It will be shortly Miss Waller....only a few more minutes!"

"If I asked Hank Pym to do this job it would be over by now! Too bad he's still helping with the Kahndaq situation..."

They continued their task and put every single piece of data and hardware while Waller had her ice tea watching over them until finally, the head of the operation came over to her.
"Miss....it's finished."

She walked over and saw the machine, it looked stranger than the last model but certainly more human. She nodded to the scientists and got her cellphone out to inform her boss. "Mr. President....it's ready!"

"Good...now, remember Waller...not a word about this to The Avengers or anyone else. Oh, and deal with the scientists with Miss Frost..."

"Understood, they won't remember a thing."

They turned the android on, it was now a complete pawn of the government to combat the super humans that threatened it's new leader, it sat up in a complete upright position and Waller begun to talk to it one on one.

"What is your name?"

"Amazo 2.0."

"Whom do you work for?"

"Professor Ivo, my creator."

The lies it had been fed were all it knew, it's programming was now going to bring hazardous conflicts through the world.

"What is your main priority?"

"Destroy the Justice League."


"Excellent, go to it now!"


Without word or warning the robot stood up and walked over past the Hellcarrier and then flew towards it's programmed destination.

The Avengers, a government sponsored team created by president Lex Luthor, is attempting to override the Justice League as America's super-team. In response to this and Luthor's Sentinel project, Tony Stark has taken it upon himself to wage a PR war with Luthor, including Captain America into the fight. Currently, Cap and former SHIELD director Nick Fury are in Europe, working with Checkmate to discover if Luthor has ties to the terrorist group HYDRA.

And Batman, Robin, and Spider-Man are matching wits with Joker in Gotham.

That's pretty much it.

In addition to being an accomplished pilot, engineer, soldier, and businessman, Rhodes derives multiple abilities from various hi-tech armors, either designed by Stark Industries or extraterrestrial in nature. With his years of experience with both the Iron Man and War Machine powered armors, Rhodes is skilled in armored combat and uses a more physical fighting style compared to Stark

Rhodes sustained several fatal injuries requiring an added life support system with cybernetic implants in place of his limbs and parts of his face.

The armor's computer displays can be projected due to holographic generators and the armor's systems are operated via a cybernetic link to Rhodes himself. The armor is composed of alloys such as titanium and Wakandan vibranium coated for stealth capabilities, and can be sealed for space and underwater travel. Armaments include sonic generators, pulse bolts, and miniguns. Besides being independent of all outside systems, the armor can interface with any system and has cybernetic interlocking capabilities that can integrate mechanical constructs to repair and upgrade the armor.

Brief biography of the character's history:
James Rhodes is an African American who was born in the South Philadelphia section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps, he served tours of duty in Southeast Asia as a combat pilot.

He is a long time friend and ally of Tony Stark, the hero known as Iron Man. Stark has repeatedly offered Rhodes a career working for him. However, Rhodes heart was in his military career. After being retired as a disabled war veteran and after taking several career paths, Rhodes finally took Stark's offer and became Stark's personal pilot, chief aviation engineer for Stark International, and one of Stark's closest friends and confidants.

He awoke in a bright room. The fluorescent lights hanging overhead hurt his eyes and he winced involuntarily. Most of his body was still heavily bandaged. The cannula in the back of his left hand itched and he hadn’t heard of the liquid that was being fed intravenously through it. His vision was blurred and his head swam in pain and confusion.

The whisper of a door hissed to his right and he felt a rush of cold air wash across his face. A man appeared at his bedside, a long white jacket over a grey suit and a clipboard cradled in his right arm. “Good Morning James. My name is Dr Thorne. How are you feeling?”

James lay back on his pillow and groaned. “Like I was hit by a damn truck”.

“Well, you've been through a lot. I thought you weren’t going to make it through. But I haven’t lost a patient yet, and you weren’t going to be the first. You’ll be feeling pretty weak for a while I expect, you’re doing better than I thought you would given the extent of your injuries”.

“What happened?”

“Well James..." The doctor swallowed and shuffled uncomfortably, unable to look his patient in the eye. "We had to amputate your limbs to save your life. You also had three broken vertebrae, a punctured lung thanks to two broken ribs. You had a shattered jaw and a cracked skull. Also, internal bleeding and bruising as well as various bodily scratches and crazes”.

Rhodes swallowed. His head swam. He was restrained to the bad and couldn't see the rest of his body. It couldn't be true though... hell, he could still feel his fingers! he could feel them right there on the end of his arms! Rhodes knew that was a common problem for amputees though. His rational thinking kicked in near instantly. “So… how come I ain’t dead?”

The doctor smiled, his thin lips spreading wide across his face. “Well, in short… you were. You died James and I brought you back. Thanks to pioneering technology and the sizeable wealth of the man that paid for this, I was able to bring you back. We've had to implant cybernetic technologies into your brain, your skull and your spine. It'll take time before you're well enough to undergo further operations, but with a bit of patience and time, we'll reconstruct you as best we can”.

James swallowed a breath, his mouth becoming dry. He scowled, his mind trying and struggling to drink in the new information. “Who paid for this and… why?”

On that note, I've just taken two ****ing god damn hours to write a huuuge post for him and the Hype has eaten it because a 'Security Token' was apparently missing! What in the blue furry hell is a 'security token'?!

If you leave your page open for too long, your session expires. The security token forces you to log in again (or usually just reload the page). Just in case you were on a public computer and forgot to log off. That way someone can't post as you something that'll get you banned.

It's also the reason I copy all my text before ever posting. Even if it's just an edit. I never remember that I opened a page the night before and it needs refreshed.

That's actually what I was thinking, having The Avengers, S.H.E.I.L.D. and the Sentinels out finding the Justice League- kind of like Civil War and Siege but not as drastic.

Plus, I have a plan for the final battle between the government and the Justice League ;)

Powers: None, instead The Question had wide array of gadgets and has learned martial arts from various teachers on the subject for his quest for justice in Hub City.

Brief biography of the character's history: Vic Sage, originally named Charles Victor Szasz was an orphan whom grew up in Hub City only to be bullied by the other children there, till he fought back. This started Sage's quest for justice inside Hub City and began his need to find out the truth, beginning with the corruption inside his own home town; in a quest to prove that the Mayor was corrupt Sage in his job as a news anchor showed the public tapes of him taking bribes, the next day however the corrupt politicians decided to make Sage's life a living hell. Determined Sage seeked out an old college professor, Aristotle Rodor whom helped him with a material known as pseudonym which was originally used to cover one's scarred flesh, but with giving it a special gas; it covered up Sage's face and bonded to his flesh while still allowing him to see and breath normally. Taking guidance after martial artists such as Iron Fist, Shang-Chi, Lady Shiva and Richard Dragon- The Question seeks to uncover political corruption and various conspiracy theories.

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: I have loved The Question since I first saw him on JLU a few years ago, I have tried unsuccessfully to play him in the Ultimate DC RPG a couple years back; but now I have a storyline for him that also related to my current story with Lex Luthor.

Vic Sage sat on his desk as the local news channel was about to broadcast the startling news story of the incident at Stanford, Connecticut; sitting patiently his camera man counted down the number of seconds till the show was live, on zero Sage then began.

"Hello and welcome to Hub News, I'm Vic Sage and tonight's top story: Disaster in Stanford. Just a few hours ago, the android known as Amazo returned unannounced to the city and provoked a fight with the Justice League of America. What looked like a simple super-powered fight ended in catastrophe as the machine combusted, leaving a disastrous explosion; the death toll is believed to be just under one thousand people.

In response to this, President Luthor issued a statement earlier today."

As the images of the carnage and war were shown they then cut to the President's speech which was given just under an hour ago.

"Good afternoon, my fellow Americans. I have just received word of the incident in Stanford, Connecticut that caused mass destruction, death and turmoil to the city with the android known as Amazo. We don't know the amount of casualties but we believe that many of the residents of the city have indeed lost their lives, I have already ordered for several army and emergency personnel to contain the situation there.

In accordance to whom has ordered this attack on American territory, our biggest suspects maybe involved with the Latverian government; however officials have said they do not know about the attack and their leader, Victor Von Doom has disclosed he knows nothing of the incident. But I assure you, whomever has ordered this will pay retribution and face justice for this uncalled for and complete disregard for human life!The Avengers, C.I.A., Secret Service, F.B.I., S.H.E.I.L.D. and many more have been given the task of researching and uncovering this plot which has now become a high priority for our government."

"And though, I am shocked at this crisis...and remorseful, I cannot say that this was completely unexpected. Ever since the arrival of the meta-humans and mutants have arrived, it has caused a great amount of damage and burden on the common people like ourselves to contain and still feel safe. A man whom grew up in a Poland and experienced an atrocity and seeks to rein-act on human beings and nearly succeeded. And whoever has orchestrated the attack on Stanford, did it for one purpose only: to kill."

"Before my campaign begun for this position, I had thought about a new and stricter approach to the meta-humans and mutants whom live inside our world and our country. My proposal for the Sentinels to be sanctioned by the American Government was not seen well with the public at first, but now I see the fear and panic that I have for this has now set with some of you now. The first part of my proposal includes the re-establishment of the Sentinel army once more and the second; a bill that has not been thought of before this sudden emergence but has been talked about the last few months; the "Superhuman Registration Act."

In order to explain the basics of the Act, it requires both the men and women of the world whom have super-powers, access to magic or advanced technology to register themselves as a living weapon of mass destruction. This may seem harsh, but as many men of history have said "desperate times, call for desperate measures" and believe me, I do not want to be the one to in force this to people whom have saved us countless of occasions, but this is a necessity.

In the coming months, I will look to it that the Senate takes a look into the bill and within the coming weeks a democratic vote will passed onto the public to decide for both bills. In the meantime, I will be having The Avengers and ourselves on strong duty watching over the American people,

The recorded tape of the President's response was shown as Vic continued his broadcast imminently with a stern look of sorrow at the announcement.

"Government officials have said that the Superhuman Registration Act will be given a vote to the Senate than the public in the coming weeks but that the President wishes the decision to be made sooner in order to prevent further catastrophes..."

After the news was stopped, Sage then walked out into a rooftop with his trench-coat on wearing a fedora hat as he got out his journal looking through the various mysteries he wished to uncover; the last however made his top priority.

Vic looked through his journal, all of these needed to wait as his next mystery needed to be solved in order for the entire world to be safe from unexpected reprisals, the villainous use of popcorn would have to wait.

It’s been months. Months in this plastic hell. Months of waiting, and wanting. Months of not knowing what is going on in the outside world. But that is all about to change. And then, well I honestly don’t know.

I almost scoff at the thought, but for once in as long as I can remember, I don’t have a plan. I don’t know what I’ll do. But it doesn’t matter. Freedom is all that matters to me now. Fresh air, good food, and contact with beings smarter than a chair are what I’m craving.

A small alarm goes off in my cell, and I can see one of the guards coming in, and I see him getting checked for metal by the others outside. He steps arrogantly inside my cell, and plops a plate of food and a glass of water on the singular table, “There ya go. Make it quick. I don’t wanna wait around all day for you to finish.”


“Cockroach,” I mutter under my breath.

“What was that?” he says, sticking his nose in my face.

Character you would like to play: Commissioner James "Jim" Gordon
Powers: None, but has a sharp detective mind and decent with guns.

Brief biography of the character's history:
Born in Chicago and a member of the Chicago PD, Jim Gordon was transfered and he and his wife moved to Gotham City shortly after the murder of the Wayne's. Being one of the few honest cops in a corrupt city, Jim slowly moved up the ranks. When the mysterious vigilante known as Batman came on the scene, he and Jim formed a secret alliance. Since the Batman's arrival, Jim has moved quickly up the ranks, all the way to police commissioner. A crusader for justice, Jim shares the same obsession for cleaning up Gotham as Batman and District Attorney Harvey Dent. Due to his long hours, Jim's wife left him and moved back to Chicago with their son, Jim Jr. Now, Jim lives with his teenaged daughter, Barbara, while continuing to clean Gotham up, one skel at a time.

In Season III. Jim and Harvey Dent took down Sal "The Boss" Maroni and almost had their justice, when Maroni scared Dent and warped him into the villian known as Two-Face.

So far in IV, Jim and the Major Crimes Unit have been waging a war against Two-Face's organization. Also, Jim and his family have recently been victimized by the Joker.

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: I think I did a pretty good job as Ult. Jim Gordon, and now I can play a version a bit more truer to the comics than my own....also, I left my MCU story hanging, I want to finish it.

I fiddle with my tie on the rundown bench in Robinson Park. A lone light illuminates the bench.

Harvey Dent, better known as Two-Face sits next to me in the almost deserted park. Neither one of us look at each other, instead we stare straight ahead.

"So, why did you call me out here?"

"My men are taking control of the Narrows and East End. We will run the drug trade pure and simple, leave us alone and your crime rate will go down as my people contain the crime."

"So, you want me to legalize drugs and criminal activities in select areas?"

"More like turning a blind eye to it."

"So, just like that your people will control Gotham's underworld."

"There will be some resistance, but we'll need police help...help me, and I'll help control their wild behavior."

"Why are you asking me this?"

Two-Face jerks suddenly and stares me down.

Character you would like to play: The Joker

Powers: None that are know, although some claim that Joker’s apparent insanity is actually a form of “super sanity”, which is a form of ultra-sensory perception. This has never been confirmed. While seemingly off his rocker, Joker is capable of amassing a loyal mob of followers, and is able to put together crimes of epic proportions. Joker’s ultimate goal is always chaos, and will never balk at an opportunity to stir the pot. He is a whiz with gadgets and chemistry, creating many clown-themed weapons of lethal effectiveness. The Clown Prince of Crime is also a master of explosives.

Brief biography of the character's history: Almost nothing is known about The Joker’s past. As he likes to say, “If I’ve got a past…I’d prefer it be multiple choice!” One thing can always be confirmed, Joker is a force for chaos and anarchy.

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: He’s possibly the greatest villain in comic book history, and I’d like to take a shot at writing such a challenging character. I’ve also got an interesting plan for him at the end of the season, but we’ll see what’s going on with the game (http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=324174&page=40#) before I go through with it.

This town has always enjoyed my antics. It’s the only reasonable explanation as to why it’s so easy for me to get the ludicrous amount of plastic explosive I've currently got stashed away. It’s the only explanation as to why the Bat still hasn’t come to sop my fun like he always does. Honestly the size of the stick that plugs up his guano hole must be massive. I wonder where him and Bird-boy put it on their nightly adventures. Or maybe the boy blunder is the catcher, he could always take a beating.

“Hehehe…” I chuckle to myself. What can I say, sometimes even I make myself laugh.

The bank explodes in a glorious blaze of flame, the heat blasting against my face. Sweat begins to trickle down my forehead, smudging the paint that lines the creases of my face with it.

“Boss! What about all the money-“ the thug is cut off by a blast from my shotgun, his blood splattering across my face, showing brightly against the whiteness of the paint.

A smile creeps across my face as the rest of my crew pull our van around. As I get in, I plop down in the back, “Remember boys…It’s not about money…It’s about sending a message.”

I pause and look around at the guys, “Where have I heard that before?”

The van screeches away, and the message is left in flame on the side of the bank.
