Lets just hope the script is accepted. I would hate for it to be rejected and the waiting start all over again.

^^ Exactly, and honestly, I think we'll get word from Raimi on where he may take the characters next or something. Honestly, I think he'll give us something even if it's very very very small. Probably soon after he reads it.

something is not right here guys. after all this time he says ''draft'' ?

That's not uncommon. The dark knight went through a lot of retooling (according to the special features) before a final script was decided on.
You have to come up with a plot first, which is the hardest part (it's your story and the acts of the story); then you can begin a screenplay which is basically a huge connect the dots of your plot with dialogue and how action plays out. At that point, it's considered a draft because it needs to be refined (actually made to be good, see what dialogue action is good and what isn't what is needed and what is filler).
At least that's the way I was taught.

I really want to know who the villain(s) are...hopefully Sam doesn't go with Lizard (I love him but I'd prefer someone else at the moment!)

Spider-Man 4 is going to decimate all. I have a good feeling about this one. I know that, given that 3 wasn't as awesome as the perfection that was part 2, I should be hesitant, but my gut says we will see somethign truly awesome to behold.
I hope I'm right....:o

Lizard would probably the most logical choice, IMO.
Yay! Hopefully this is good.

Only three weeks for what... to find out that the villain will be based on what lesson or tribulation Peter has to learn from.
"We already know that!!!"

We still don't know who the villain or villains are and we don't know what kind of tribulation Peter will be facing. This is exciting for most of us so don't be a Negative Ned.

^^ I wouldn't say that at all, actually, Venom'sDad. I mean, we shouldn't expect something EXACTLY on the mark, but probably around it. Sometime this week or very early next week, I think. Hopefully, tommorow though.

Do you guys really expect Raimi to have announced anything yet? He said he was getting the script around now. He still has to go over it and then he might announce something that he knows will be certain.

I'm not sure Raimi has the power to announce anything. Sony is the one who makes such decisions.

Either way, nothing should get out without the director's approval.

What did it confirm? It just said that the movie is coming on May 6, 2011. We already knew that. They weren't trying to really announce anything new. It was just for the expo. They most likely knew that the poster would get the word out and start the hype, though.
