Green Day should not be in this CD nor the movie. That's sad news.
But I hope Mastodon is heard in the film.

If it's anything ike the last one, not all of these songs will be in the movie, so I wouldn't worry about that. I don't really care either way, I'm getting this for Cheap Trick alone. :)

 so many movies get ruined by a sorry soundtrack put to it, why cant they just leave it alone with the great score and put one song at the credits if they have to, and enough with Nickelback already:cmad:you cant get away from them. Hope some of these crappy bands only have a few seconds of play time in a car or something , like in the first one with Bumblebee(although liked those older songs better, lol)I am curious where they will stick Cheap Trick in the movie, guessing at the credits.

I think we should get more "manly" music.
Maybe some Killswitch, Zao...Wu-Tang....AC/DC.
Badass stuff, haha.
Maybe Master Shake too?

yeah or some Alice in Chains, Sound Garden, or maybe a little bit of GWAR, lol, don't know, just a thought.

GWAR...haha, wow....
that would be effin' sweet.
Hell, just use an old song, like "Fight the Good Fight" by Triumph. It'll be perfect.

That would be much better. I would also add Motorhead, Type O Negative, Monster Magnet, Buckcherry, Sebastian Bach, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold (who were supposed to be on the first movie soundtrack) and IRON ****IN' MAIDEN!!! :woot:
I would've liked to have had Black Lab's 'Transformers Theme' on this, too.
Unfortunately, AC/DC never do compilations/soundtracks. :csad:

I also suggest we resurrect Phil Lynott and bring back Thin Lizzy. :woot:

Me too. I'm just wondering if it's a cover of Lion's song from TF: The Movie or just the normal cartoon theme song.
Lunar_Wolf

I would say Lion's song. But with their own mix.

^ I hope so.
I love all of the songs on the old soundtrack. It's so ****in' cool. :woot:
I wish they could've gotten some real rock bands (Buckcherry, Disturbed, Wolfmother, etc) to do covers of 'Instrument's of Destruction', 'Nothing's Gonna Stand In Our Way' and 'Hunger'. :csad:

Hunger is so badass.
Also instrument's of destruction playing as Megatron shouts die, is wonderful.

Dont forget Maximum Overdrive :cwink: but yea an AC/DC song would have easily worked in a TF movie easily imo, too bad it didnt happen this go round.

I've just looked this up on Amazon and it looks like Mastodon (sorry LightningFlash) and Dead By Sunrise aren't on it. They've been replaced with All-American Rejects's "Real World" and Avenged Sevenfold's "Almost Easy".
