I would be thoroughly impressed if they worked their way through enough characters to actually make a Nova film. I'd love it, don't get me wrong. I just wouldn't hold my breath. ;)

The sad thing about Marvel's cosmic line is that its two biggest individual heroes after the Silver Surfer--Nova and Quasar--both have elements that would be perceived as ripping off Green Lantern. The Nova Corps and Quasar's powers are both elements people will be exposed to in Green Lantern first.

If Feige was serious about expanding into the Cosmos for the MCU then Nova has to be a definite. He has to be the most popular cosmic hero going right now?

I think it is necessary for a New Warriors film before a Nova film to help get the idea that it's a Green Lantern rip off out their heads. I have such a cool idea in my head regarding the whole set up.
Dwayne Taylor lives in a gang run neighbourhood. He recently has been going out of his way at night to try to beat back the local drug trade, but being a teen not doing so well. He sees the Avengers on television after battling 'Avengers movie villain'. His mindset is "who protects us on the streets".

So he ends up getting into a fight with the local gang bosses who have had enough of him. He is rescued by a local girl with powers who also has been inspired to use her powers for good, Angelica Jones. Late to the fight is her super-powered boyfriend Vance Astrovik. Dwayne manages to convince them to team up and break into a local S.H.I.E.L.D facility where they manage to get data on loads of suspected 'heroes'. Here they get possible candidates for the team where they try to recruit other teens, i'd choose Namorita and
Nova.

Then the local gang manage to get a pair of siblings to help them out Silhouette and Midnight's Fire. Then because the team is a bunch of inexperienced teens they end up getting beaten by the gang/villains. They then finally triumph at the end of the film. Right at the end the team disband for various reasons. Nova gets a distress signal in his helmet (which never happened before) and he explores. Namorita returns to Atlantis heartbroken. Leaving the original three who discuss the future of the team.

It would lead nicely into a Nova film and possibly a sequel.

I know it's a lot for one film but i think it could work well.

thats true. the only thing that separates it for me is personal preference. do you like this universe or that one. some like both some like only one. they are similar but people watch movies with similar themes all the time. here is a list of some of those movies that are similar and opened close to each other.

though i would really hate for either gl or a marvel cosmic movie to suffer due to this, i just think there is enough room for both. also if thor does well marvel still has a cosmic character that is similar to thor and an alien.

Yeah. Plus, has much as I like Beta Ray Bill in the comics, there are so many other characters I would rather they got to first. Balder, Hela, Enchantress, Mangog, Surtur, etc. Man, Thor has got some awesome characters and storylines :yay:. Thor 2 could be larger and far more epic than even the Avengers movie(just like some of the best Thor solo comics are more epic than the Avengers comics where Thor is held back IMO).

Numerous forums have claimed it was on there. One site, if you clicked on the link, you saw the "copyright infringement" message. So yeah, I'm a believer it's out there.

And anything that violates their latest hot property... Jeremy Renner fires his new arrows at.

I uploaded it months ago, people reuploaded it, stole it, passing it off as 'real, official'... and because of San Diego - BOOM! Gone! 280,000 views wasn't bad though. I don't care that much - They didn't wipe out the dozens of other Marvel fanedit vids I've made. It could've been worse.
I'd gladly swap it for a peep a the SDCC footage though.

I just saw a "Fake" fan based trailer for Thor where the individual went through quite a bit of trouble to make it somewhat realistic. He used Movie clips from the actors in other movies to create the trailer mostly, but I could swear there appeared to be a few scenes that might have contained actual footage. Therefore, for that reason I will not post anything here as I do not want to be banned. However, if you want to see it I would suggest looking around and you probably will find it eventually.

You're missing the point of Comic con. It draws attention from all sorts of media waiting to get the inside scoop and run a clip on their TV show or an article in their magazine. It creates buzz on sites like this and gets every one talking. The media coverage reaches millions of people that don't really care about comics. If they allowed the trailer to go to youtube the same day or even a couple days later it would take away all the media interest. Many of the TV shows that covered comic con haven't run a new episode yet. None of the magazines that covered it have a new issue out yet. If the media wasn't competing with each other to cover all the hot topics many of them wouldn't care about this movie. If You tube ran the trailer days or weeks before anyone else then why bother covering it? They would loose all that free publicity and hype. It would be great for you and me but it could cost the movie big time in their general audience.
