Having watched Raimi's great horror flick "Drag Me To Hell" this week, one thing that really stuck with me was the beautiful cinematography by Peter Deming. It was wild and energetic, and actually felt like it was a SAM RAIMI movie!
I really like Bill Pope. His work on the first "Matrix" movie was amazing, and he had also previously worked with Raimi on "Darkman" and "Army of Darkness". But his work on "Spider-Man 2" and "3" was kinda dissapointing. There were some Raimi-esque moments, but overall the cinematography felt more like that of a typical Hollywood blockbuster rather than a real Raimi flick.
I really want "Spider-Man 4" to have the energy a "typical" Raimi flick has. Even the first "Spider-Man" felt more like a Raimi movie with the cinematography by Don Burgess.
