Hahaha...hardly. He wasn't socially awkward in his interview nor did he have an ego. He is a normal kid who happens to be very smart (hence his different tastes in entertainment.)
I think its good that he has that mentality...because America is going to be screwed a few years from now due to it's poor education system.

Well it is quite admirable the efforts he has gone through. In any case, he is planning to take a year off so he can practice his martial arts and dedicate himself to winning martial arts tournaments before attending a University.

He is incredibly smart and has aptitudes which include physical talents. He is someone to be admired not criticised because he does not deem video games all important (which is probably the view of his parents).

And what arrogance? He's not arrogant at all, he's simply got an eleven year old's grasp on public presentation. Which means he thinks everything you say has to sound profound. Listen to any 10 or 11 year old who is interviewed about anything. They try to make a speech out of it. When adults act like that, we think they're arrogant. When kids act like that, it tends to be cute to watch them bumble through it.

So he doesn't like video games.
