Ok is it just me or does anyone else think its completely ridiculous that terminator doesnt have its own section on these message boards. I mean come on even TMNT had there own section for a while and that was no where near as good and the first, second, or fourth terminator movies. Maybe im wrong but I think there are plenty of fans here who would drop by that place once in a while but I could be wrong. If anyone else thinks Terminator deserves its place here please post.

We don't need a Terminator board, the movie is dying a fast death and there probably won't be another one. All a board for the movie will do is increase trolling and flaming

Wanted and Transformers got their own forum. We should rename the entire forum to TERMINATOR.

Terminator is a Sci-Fi series, not a comic book franchise. Besides, it is unlikely to get a sequel in the near future based on BO returns anyway, so there is no point on top of it not being a comic book based franchise.

TMNT was a comic. Transformers have had popular comics. Terminator is known as a film series. Difference.

Yeah I guess thats true, but still terminator is awesome and I will always think it deserves some place her on these boards. Its too bad the new movie is dying because I thought it was great. I think if they would have released it before the rest of the early summer blockbusters like Star Trek and Wolverine, it might have done a little better.

That wouldn't have saved it IMO. Reaction on the film itself is mixed, so it's not like a film that people whom saw it loved it, but it got over looked. It may have had a bad release date, but I think the drops and such would have been large for it anyway.

Yes, but not an iconic comic series. Transformers comics are popular and well known. TMNT was originally a comic. Terminator may have comics, but so do Indiana Jones, James Bond, Conan, etc...and I don't think characters like that need a forum. Nor does Terminator.

Now some people say Salvation is the third best of the series but am I the only one who thought this was better than the first. I mean of course it could never be better than the second because that like the best sequel, and one of the best movies of all time. And just about any movie can be better than part three. But the first one hardly even sticks out to me, its not that exciting, the movie gives you that hopeless depressing feeling that doesnt lighten up even at the end, and if it werent for its sequels no one would even remember it. Thats why I like Salvation better.

I'd discuss the movie in the general movies forum, but in short...the fact it is 3rd in the series says very little, since T3 was abysmal. I really didn't find Salvation much better, only marginally.

That doesn't influence my opinion on it having a forum though. Casino Royale rocked, but ask me then if Bond deserved a forum, I would have said no.

Nor does Terminator.ugh dont give me that lame excuse, its been a comic series since the late 1980's i bet thats more than Indie, Bond, or Conan combine

that's the reason right there

Conan was a comic before Terminator was even made

And Indy and Bond have had comics since the 80's/early 90's. It's not a lame excuse. This is not the first push for a Terminator forum, and I think one hasn't been made for good reason, and I happen to agree.

Well one of the biggest reasons I thought Salvation kicked part 3's ass is because it had this one thing that part 3 didnt have, A NEW PLOT!!! I mean come on the third one was just the exact same plot as part 2, a robot comes back in time to protect john conner from an even stronger robot. If anything the third movie was just a money scheme so people could milk the franchise a little more. The second movie ended the series fine but third movie came in and was like screw that, arnold schwarzennegar wants more more money. If it werent for part 3, we wouldnt need the terminator series or Salvation
