The Masters of Terror.

The Masters of Terror are classic Avengers foes and they'll obviously be in the movie franchise rather sooner than later.

So, how should they be portrayed in a movie. Which villains should be a part of it? How would they come together? How would they try to destroy the Avengers? How many fights would them have? Who against who? And more! :woot:

Who the heck are the Masters of Terror? I believe you mean the Masters of Evil, the first group of villains the Avengers fought.

The Masters of Evil are like the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
I don't see them calling themselves the Maters of Evil, because no one sees themselves as evil. Unless they think they are a necessary evil.
So maybe Masters of Terror might work better, maybe just drop evil and call them The Masters.

I would like to see them on screen, especially since they create Wonder Man. Wonder Man becomes a prominent member, and could possibly be brought in when other members rotate out.
But I woudn't use them in the first movie.

I don't want them just assembling the bad guys from the solo Avengers movies. I don't think that would be very interesting. Except for the opportunity to see heroes and villains switch sparring partners. I think the Avengers movie needs some kind of unique threat.

maybe eventually, but i wouldnt mind a skewed version of what you're talking about for the first one. gives them space and time to focus on the relationships within the avengers

I'm one of those fans that would rather see the MOE later down the road or possibly in a brief scene where the Avengers are mopping them up for the Vault. I'd much prefer seeing the team taking on global or cosmic level Universe destroying threats such as Ultron, Thanos with the Cosmic Cube/Infinity Gauntlet, Kang or the Elders Of the Universe.
