There´s some light on it, clearly looks to me like there´s at least a little black on the side of the chest, but when we see a full body pic we can be sure.

I also believe that this is part of the interpretation of the costume. The black is actually the shadows (where there is no light). Remember in the "Secret Origins" story arch, the blact part of his costume was the absence of light (and in turn was very cold) the brighter parts of the costume are green (where there is light and should be hot). Like I said before, the producers have already gone on record as saying that they wanted the costume to look alien since it is in origin. I just have this feeling that at some point in the film, the costum might change just to show that he could do it at will.

The character is the Blue Devil, I remember him. Yeah, that's what it was. Dan Cassidy, was a SfX wizard and a stuntman, who made a 7' tall electro-mechanical Blue Devil suit to perform a stunt for a movie. To his misfortune, he got caught up in an fight with a real demon who basically cursed him by grafting his suit to his body. I guess in the exchange, the demon was banished back to his dimension, while Cassidy was grafted to the suit while keeping the demon's magic trident.
