A Belgian woman has claimed that she was given 56 star tattoos on her face when she fell asleep in a tattoo parlour.
Kimberley Vlaminck is seeking £9,000 in damages to pay for laser surgery to remove 53 of the stars because she said that she only wanted three applied near her left eye, The Daily Telegraph reports.
The 18-year-old said: "When he started to tattoo me, I did not feel pain and I fell asleep. I awoke as he tattooed me on the nose and I saw what he had done. I counted 56 stars.
"I cannot go out on to the street, I am so embarrassed. I just look ugly, a freak, mutilated."
However, Tattoo Box owner Rouslan Toumaniantz has demanded €50 (£43) for the body art and claimed that Vlaminck only complained about the tattoos when her father met her outside the Courtrai parlour.
"She was awake all the time. I did not hypnotise or dope her, as they say, it was with agreement. No way could I have tattooed so many stars on her face against her will," he said.

she's obviously lying. i've never gotten a tattoo so i dunno how bad it hurts but i can't imagine it being mundane enough to fall asleep and STAY asleep if you've got a needle poking your face at rapid speed. even if she fell asleep and he went crazy with the tattoos then why would he restrict himself to only drawing stars?


here's the kicker though...imo, you DESERVE to get tattood 56 times on your face if you're stupid enough to fall asleep around a tattoo artist that looks like this...

i do know people who have dozed off while getting tattoos, but it was usually when they were going to be sitting for a couple of hours. i can't image 3 stars taking that long that you can fall asleep during?
unless like someone said, she was drunk/drugged out, or has some crazy sleeping disorder

I guess I have anger management issues because I wouldn't have offered to pay for removal if I was the artist and now that she came clean I'd so be furious and wanting to throw it back in her face

disagree, she wanted them in the first place, and got them. That was irresponsible and childish mistake #1. She then makes up a lame excuse after her father disapproves and trys to get an innocent man in trouble which was irresponsible and childish mistake #2. She even tried to take it as far as sueing the guy (what if she had won?)

she deserves worse than having the tattoos remain on her face (which I stated before, she wanted them in the first place and got them, how that's punishment is beyond me) but I doubt they will as her father will more than likely pay to have them removed.

The tattoo artist should be compensated for the ordeal she put him through in some way shape or form

Oh she is definately a big fat liar. And quite frankly I don't know why this is going to court. There is proof. When you go to get tattooed they do a trace first. That means the tattoo artist will do a drawing of what's to be done and imprint it onto your face so you see the outline of what's to be on your skin. This gives the customer a real idea of what she wants and also the tattoo artist a guide. They don't just go in there and do it freestyle. Also tattoing is painful and getting 56 on your face much less 3 is going to hurt. You can't go to sleep with that going on. Poor guy. He's just trying to make a living and in comes some wacko teenager that wants to sue him for doing his job.
