What things should we cover in the near future?
Any interesting ideas for us?

How about your favorite and least favorite comic book movies? And what makes a good comic book movie.

That is a good one.

Or to further Sam's post, go into a bit of detail into exactly where bad superhero movies went wrong. Heck, Batman Forever could be an episode unto itself.

Also, which lower-tier characters (ie. Darkhawk, Nova, Hawkman level) are worthy of their own flicks. It worked for Blade, and possibly Deadpool in the future, who could be an interesting choice? These characters come with less baggage, so directors have more room to play. You could explore how they could best be adapted and portrayed.

The difference in demographics with comic book movies [the cast or crew v. the genre v. the character/story].

Here's one I want to throw out to the room: What are your favorite songs from superhero movie soundtracks?

Examples include:
"Batman" - "Partyman" by Prince
"Spider-Man" - "Hero" by Chad Kroeger and Josey Scott
"Daredevil" - "Bring Me to Life" by Evanescence
"Watchmen" - "Desolation Row" by My Chemical Romance

I'm doing some experimentation with music and the podcast on the side and I'd like to get some songs to get kick-started. Thanks!

Ghost Rider - "Ghost Riders In The Sky" by Spiderbait
Spider-man 2 - "Ordinary" by Train

"X2" - "Bye Bye Bye" - *NSYNC. :o

But seriously...

"Batman Returns" - "Face to Face" - Siouxie & the Banshees
"Batman Forever" - "Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me" - U2
"Constantine" - "Passive" - A Perfect Circle

Also, maybe talk about why some video games based on superhero properties have worked{Spider-man 2} and some haven't worked{All Superman games, Batman and Robin}.

Maybe review the DVDs of super hero movies? (Special Features, commentary, etc.)

Which DVDs have good extra content for fans? Which ones have good video/audio transfer?

As opposed to how good the actual flick was.

Another one: Does changing a character's trait{like making Kingpin black in Daredevil} change the character?

I love that idea! We shall get to it. Thanks Barry!

And thanks to everyone who has posted ideas! Everything is gold, and we'll get to it in future shows. With our new "shorter-and-more-frequent" format, we might turn these into special episodes or put them in during a slow news week.

Here's one for discussion which I stole from radio veteran Don Geronimo:

"Which superhero (no villains or sidekicks) would have the hardest time using the bathroom in costume?"

It's official: I have the mind of a twelve-year-old boy.

Yikes, I think I do too. That question had me immediately pondering answers. Iron Man has to be up there...

Surely Peter thought to put a Spider-zipper in the Spider-suit...
