Now I think I remember seeing a statement saying that nothing on spider-man 4 would be at comic con. But we all know that many surprises happen at comic con. Yeah. I'm not even sure if 'Iron Man 2' will be getting a teaser until sometime later during production or early in post-production. But, if we do get one, it'll probably be something extremely short, with some shots of Black Widow, Whiplash, Iron Man, Nick Fury (maybe). But, that's about it. However, I am expecting them to do something with 'Captain America' and/or 'Thor'. Whether it'd have to do with a cast or a character poster, we'll have to wait and hear.

But again, either than that. It looks pretty boring this year. I'm not expecting DC to show us anything on 'Green Lantern' yet, and... I really can't think of much else beyond.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it's like the 'Wolverine' trailer or the 'Spider-Man 3' trailer (from Comic Con '06, I believe). Anyhow, again, that'll be about it. I don't expect much on anything else. Maybe DC will surprise us and give us some news or pics of what they're doing with 'Green Lantern'. However, I kinda doubt that will happen. DC aren't as open, as Marvel is, with their projects.

They revealed Sandman as a villian in November of '05. That was a a year and a half before the movie came out. I expect some sort of announcement before the end of the year. Then we should get our first images and teaser trailer next July.

They revealed Sandman as a villian in November of '05. That was a a year and a half before the movie came out. I expect some sort of announcement before the end of the year. Then we should get our first images and teaser trailer next July. Actually, (if you're talking announcement), they announced him in September 2005 by accident. if you're talking a picture, then yes, you're correct. On that day, when I saw that picture, my mind exploded with excitement.

I don't think any other villain can carry his own movie. GG and Doc Ock were Spidey's greatest foes and could easily carry his own movie.

The bolded part was my faith in something. I don't think any villians have been announced at Comic Con two years before the movie comes out. Doc Ock wasn't revealed untill 2003. Sandman wasn't revealed untill November '05 (Although Dunst spilled the beans in September). Venom was supposed to be kept secret untill 2006 Comic Con where they showed footage. I'm not sure about Green Goblin in the first movie. So, no, I didn't expect a villain announcment this past weekend. I did expect someone to give progress on the 4th film and where they stand at the moment, but we didn't even get that.


Now, I do expect something toward the end of the year. It could be a casting announcemt or a picture(like Sandman's). But with the script getting some finishing touches, don't expect anything for 2-3 months.
