Dunno if this has been posted, and it's not exactly an exciting pic, but there's Zartan in the background on the right. Looks pretty plain jane to me.

Maybe I'm too passive, but once a precedent is set, things like that don't bother me that much- the DD comics established that Zartan's regular form is a ponytailed blond guy and that the makeup wearing hooded biker is another identity he stole.

Same way the lips on SE don't bother me in some ways because they were on some of the earliest toys, and seeing CC's face doesn't bother me too much because we saw it extensively in the SE miniseries.

I can understand Zartan not just randomly looking like Zartan. He looks ridiculous in the comics and shows, and he's a master of disguise after all.

If I was making aGI Joe movie, we would only see the real Zartan very briefly- the rest of the time he'd be disguised.

Zartan is a chameleon-type character. He's not scarred or disfigured, he just is able to take on the characteristics of other people.
