The From the Pages Of... Indie Comics Universe RPG is looking for some fresh blood to join in the big arc that's just beginning. So I'm here to try and drum up some support.

The current roster is as follows...

Captain James T. Kirk (Wiegeabo)

Doctor Leonard "Bones" McCoy (Byrd Man)

Chuck Bartowski (Wiegeabo)

Angel (Catman_prb)

Spike (NightMare Shape)

Rorschach (Byrd Man)

Ray Stantz (Johnny Blaze)

As you can see, we could use some new players to help shape and mold the future of the FtPO Universe. Especially villains, as we have none of those.

Rules for characters allowed is basically this: as long as they've appeared in a comic and are not part of an already existing RPG (Transformers, Star Wars, etc) you're good.

As I mentioned above, we've got a big arc starting now that currently involves a ****load of vampires in Alaska (30 Days of Night).

Many awesome characters are still available (ex: Hellboy, Spawn, Buffy, the rest of the Ghostbusters, other Watchman characters, Randal Flagg, G.I. Joe, the entire TMNT universe, Fables, Cobra) that could jump right into the story without much hassle at all.

And if that's not your thing, why not try a little futuristic space adventure?

Quit ********ting about that stuff and get back to recruiting!

You can play anybody who has had a comic made after them and is not applicable in the mainstream RPG.

So, if I wanted to play Noah Bennet from Heroes and Speed Racer from....uhh, Speed Racer then I could!

Like I said in the OOC, I'm planning to get a Spike post up sometime this week. Granted, I was planning on doing it tonight, but got some potentially bad news today so I'm not feeling all that creative today

No, but it's not looking like anybody is interested at all. :o

Which is weird since you'd figure there'd be at least somebody wanted a chance to RP as one of the big Indie characters, like Spawn or Hellboy. :huh:

So that's three fresh faces in Optikal, Red Robin, and Murdock. A good start to helping revitalize the game. With the big arc coming up now's the perfect time to jump in. Still plenty of good characters out there to pick up. :up:

As mentioned above, there's currently a vampire crisis taking place up in Alaska (30 Days of Night), and it's just the start of things to come. There's another reality is merging with our own. As such, all kinds of strange creatures and things are popping up around the world.

The arc is just beginning, so that's all that's been revealed so far.

Neither of my characters in TF have anything to do with what happened in RotF, so it's not a big deal at all if you haven't seen the movie. My Galvatron is based on his appearance in the current line of IDW comics, and my Longarm is based on how he was portrayed in Transformers Animated.

Still, the game's only on its third page and it's already tanking pretty fast.

In fact, had I joined, I would have a gimmick where very post would contain a song, which would very well turn FtPO into the first musical RPG on the Hype.

One time I wanted to do a rock opera in OU when I was playing Barry Allen. It'd all be set to the music of Pink Floyd.
