No, in the cartoon he had a bunch of ****ing eyes, and in the comics I'm pretty he was just a normal looking guy.

I don't hate it. It sort of is what it is. It's a bit Darth Vader, a bit Phantom of the Opera, etc.

It potentially gives Cobra Commander a reason to talk strangely, rather than him just being a weird sounding freak. Here's hoping there's something with his S's when he speaks.

It also gives him a reason to hide his face and wear a mask beyond wanting to seem random and mysterious.

In the animated movie Golobulus says CC was a noble scientist with normal features (aside from the blue skin) who had an accident in his lab which have him the extra eyes.

This is what angered off many Joe fans since prior to the movie there was no mention of CC being from an alien race and he always had normal looking eyes when wearing the blue hood.

technically the shoulder pads are not pointless for a character who is always firing some type of long barreled weapon, like an assault rifle or shotgun, more often than not. helps keep the shoulder from bruising from the repeated kick of the weapon :o

That's my favorite version of CC right there. Only problem with the hood in live action is how he keeps it on in a crazy fight scene or chase scene if there is one. I'm all about the glass faced helmet for the movies and the hood for when he's on base.

Thats the white coat version. The black coat version is the most common.

i dont think he had the claw hands in the movie at all. its probably like the giant friggin claw he comes with, just a fun accessory. cool thing about the doctor figure is that the mask and the hair are removable :)

He looked NOTHING like the first toy images on this thread. Thankfully, he looked MUCH better. The new Doctor toy look good, I might have to get that one!
