Let me tell you.. it was -awesome- words can not describe that room. Lots of jokes about Scarlet 'working' for her job. :cwink:

We need more Con gossip! Like raised rates next year! How the Twilight Panel fans blocked all the good panels on Thursday! Limited preview night passes! Why we booed the IM2 moderator! What about Solomon Kane!! Also the Jim Henson collaboration with Archaia Press....Zachary Quinto and Archaia...

Reply to 'Why would you have a Twilight Panel'? Why would Extract have a panel? Zombieland? 2021? Comic Con was described by someone not as one convention, but as many different conventions under one roof. :cwink: Lots of game booths.. etc.. Comic Con has grown and ballooned out into something bigger. Oddly enough all the 'sub' cultures feed off each other and there is a pattern. I noticed all the teens were cosplaying Anime related people...the older people were in Comic garb, Star Wars, characters from older bases.

And the Twilight panel.. as Kevin Smith said...
"How dare you pass judgment on those 12-year-old girls who like vampires! They need to be encouraged because in six years they’ll be 18-year-old girls who like vampires and are into all sorts of goth-permissive and whatnot. Don’t poo-poo it. There’s a plan, and it’s working.”

you guys need to liven it up or something. :o

It was kinda slow in the beginning... sort of sped up around 17:00ish...

Out of curiosity, how many have you have seen Twilight? Just wondering...

Fun show, though. I'm always strangely entertained when Fire drops the amiable Georgian dignity and goes on wild, angry rants. He should down a few cans of Red Bull before recording an episode. The results could be epic. Perhaps for my return...

who needs to see it? the two kids in it are both ugly and untalented and oh, its about vampires. that is all i need to know.

Disclaimer: Read the first and last book (last one was great, laughed the entire time), watched the movie AND saw the Comic Con clips for posterity...I claim the right to make fun.

Episode 29 is next. It'd make sense.

I've seen some of Twilight. I think I was ready to pop in Catwoman once he stopped the car.

Colour me too forgiving, but I wouldn't call Twilight any worse than the umpteen mediocre films I see from year to year. Yeah, it's melodramatic and cheesy, but it has the odd interesting bit of cinematography and a surprisingly good performance from Matt McCoy. It's comparable to past trash teen flicks from my own youth like Fear or whatever. Meh. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but I wouldn't villify it either.

My pleasure. You should PM Malice about filling the guest-spot role for an episode or two. A female presence would be a most welcome shake-up. I've done it before and it's a lot of fun.
