I think this would work more for Batman's Killer Croc. Lizard to me and I know a forum has been discussed by this, but to me I would want him to look partially like a crocodile, with the speed of Velicoraptor, and maybe play with the idea of other reptiles' DNA's spliced and injected into his bloodstream: a rattlesnake's venom, the blending in powers of a chameleon. Just a thought but I've never really liked the old 60's version of the Lizard, to me, that would only be the start of the Lizard's mutation before finally morphing into a full-fledged, coldblooded large, carnivorous and deadly croc or aligator-looking beast.

i used of of doc ocks tentacles, for the sharp thing, i looked up "scorpion stinger" and the stinger showed up, originally it was a knife. yea, i think it would be pretty cool if they used an armor type suit if scorpion were to be in the movies

If I didn't know that the real pic was him being choked by Venom, I would maybe like this more. I do think nonetheless it is an interesting teaser poster---Spider-Man putting on his mask one last time (or not?) If that's what you were going for of course.

B: It's very reasonable to think of Carnage in a Spider-Man movie, seeing as how he IS a spider-man villain and all. As for the watering down part, it's not like there haven't been R-rated Marvel films before (Daredevil, for example).

You know what would be a cool reboot/continuation hybrid? If they do the next movie, keeping all of the same characters: (Pete, Aunt May, MJ, JJJ, Robbie, Betty, Connors), but ignore the previous films.

-Don't mention Uncle Ben any more.

-Don't mention Venom or Sandman...
-Don't mention Gwen..

What I think would be cool, is if he would change his looks over the course of the movie. He would first look like this, but the more the time goes, the more theatrical he becomes. In the final battle, he could have a costume that really makes him look like a man with power. Like this:

It's alright. I prefer the oldschool Mysterio with cape and everything. Mysterio to me should look and act like a magician; theatrical, decorative, mystical. I'm not a fan of the Ultimate-version's look but I do love the dialogue. To me Mysterio should be a mix of what both animated series did with him.

I agree. That's why I think he should progress and become more and more into his character (becoming more theatrical), as a way to confuse and scare Spider-Man, over the course of time.

Wow, that's awesome man! Though, I'd prefer his glass helmet to be abit more round and cover abit more of his head. Also, it would be cool to have smoke come out of his collar constantly, around the backside of his head (I saw you draw that too, but even more smoke would be cool). I also love the costume under his coat. Really good work there!

I would say that it wasn't character accurate more than comic accurate. It didn't live up to show his real insanity, using a medieval outfit and pumpkin bombs. The goblin in the film looks too cheap and fake.

The gloves aren't bad they could work for someone like Shocker but I don't know the whole costume just doesn't fit in with my interpretation of Mysterio. Sure, the giant fish-bowl is cheesy but he's a supervillain whom is all about illusion, mystery, magic, and his costume should reflect that. That's why Mysterio is one character I would never change a thing about. Rhino you can do whatever with. Scorpion the same... if you want to give him a high-tech suit or just spandex go right ahead.

See what I'm saying. I don't mind the first GG costume but I don't want another New Goblin which looks like a snowboarding ninja.

Insane isn't always best. Besides, spandex isn't usually worn in actual films. Daredevil's suit was leather-like. Green Lantern's is gonna be armorish.

The Goblin didn't appear in 5 films in a row so that we can get sick of it. It was his only movie appearance, and they stripped the character from every aspect that defines his appearance. Willem Dafoes performance was outstanding, but the moment he wore that helmet even his acting was ridiculous, and it's all because of the lack of credibility to his look.
Sandman's look never changed, not even for the film, and yet no one is sick of it.

Because I think Adrien Brody could play the part. He's a respected, Academy Award-winning actor, and they seem to go for Oscar nominees when possible. Plus, I tried a few actors, and he's the only one that didn't look totally stupid in the picture. Who do you have in mind?
