I have a feeling the new movie will be about as good as the musical. Not liking the new costume what so ever.

After studying the new suit I have a few conclusions to throw out there:
Base seems to be entirely blue lycra suit, even under the chest the blue shows through.
The seems are good but remain the same. You can just make out one on HIS inner left forearm.
The brick work has no muscle shaping to it . Most noticeable on his chest at the sides. Glove blue stripe part just has smaller bricks.
After the technique I looked into for the black spidey suit. I'm gonna go with extreme screen printing (Sony's method of choice from before btw):
1st layer = Black bricks
2nd layer = Red sections
3rd layer = Black webbing
It is conceivable that using incredibly thick rubber ink, you could create a deep rubber.
Feel free to discuss/dissect or call shenanigans on all this

edit: Oh, and I don't like it

Yeah... lots of rubber on lycra. Might have a blue dye-sub on a lighter blue fabric as the base also.. it's hard to tell. I might draw it up for a total dye-sub suit.. :) once some better pics become available.

i'm assuming the 3d pattern on the blue is done similar as venom ans symbiote from spider-man 3
it also looks like the spider is missing as there seems to be some remaining on the right side because of the lighting difference.

The polygon pattern is similar to what I did on the Reilly suit. I thought it looked good back then.... still looks pretty good. ;)

I'm only guessing but the red parts we can see on his hips might be part of the back spider.

The new suit looks like a mix between the reilly suit and a basket ball.
When i see, how the red parts get wrinkles on his hands, i guess, they are latex attached to blue lycra.

Now, now, don't everybody panic. For all we know this could be a picture of his "wrestling costume" that later morphs into the familiar "Spidey" that we all know and love.
Remember that in the original comic he designed his Spider-Man suit to wear for his Pro-wrestling career which he actually pursued for some months, developing quite a fan-base. It was NOT the "one shot" match he had in the 2002 movie. He designed his initial costume as a gimick to add a little flash and pizazz to his "character" that he wrestled as. Maybe this might be his "concept prototype" and later when he starts fighting crime it develops into the more traditional look. It would also explain the bruising on his face and the sort of "padded, athletic" look to his gloves.

To be honest, I don't mind the new look. The way I see it, they gave us three solid movies of the "classic" Spidey look. The whole point of this reboot is to explore new and different directions, not to rehash the last three movies with a different cast. I would have been angry if the very FIRST movie had started off by immediately veering away from the Spidey that I'm used to, but now that I've had 10 years of looking at the good ol' classic red & blue, I don't mind them trying out something a little more avant garde. After all, this is supposed to be a "whole new" Spider-Man. I'm interested to see where it goes.

Yeah, first I did my best to remove distortion from the image and straighten it and make it symmetrical. Then I used the pen tool to interpret the shape as best I could.

I wouldn't mind putting that emblem on my bike. Personally I feel changing the Spidey suit is foolish, every incarnation of spider-man that was diffrent has failed. The only reason everyone liked scarlet spider was due to the fact, his existence did not effect peters costume.
And when Ben took over as Spidey with his own version of the red and blue what happened? Marvel killed his ass off due to poor sales & back to the Spidey we have known and loved for years...
No need to touch on the black suit Spidey everyone just loves black for some reason.
They only thing they have right with the film, is that Spider-Man is not Captain America buff.

1. For me the webshooters are a little bit big
2. The eyes seems to be a bit too small
3. I really would like to see the back of the suit
4. I guess, the silver parts at the boots are only for this running scene.
Even though i still don't like it, it's a interesting design.

I'd say it looks pretty sick in the official picture that was released. I do agree that these spy shots make the costume look really bad.
I'm hoping it is his first suit and maybe his real one that looks nice is not until later scenes in the movie. If not, I hope they CGI the crap out of it, cause the suit in those spy shots are about the same quality of this icon :spidey:

That's what this thread (the old one) was made for... about 10 years ago... i'll promise to keep you updated... :)
Wow... ist it really 10 years ago now?
A little history about GermanSpider?
No chance to say NO... :)
Over 10 years ago somebody started this thread (Origin "How to make the perfect spidey suit") and we've started to collect every information.
My first suit was the design of Alex Ross.
This pic is dated round about the year 1999 or 2000:
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a234/tk1511/spider-costume/germanspider.jpg
After that we found out, that the movie suit will have raised webbing. So my next suit was in progress for about a year... the webbing is black puffy paint. :)
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a234/tk1511/spider-costume/germanspider_2.jpg
And THATS how i look over 10 years younger:
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a234/tk1511/spider-costume/germanspider_1.jpg
My next suit took very much longer. The webbing was made out of latex with silver paint. I glue stripe by stripe by hand on the suit. It was a pain in the a&%... really... it took over a year to glue the webbing on it.
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a234/tk1511/spider-costume/newsuit4.jpg
But i've been satisfied with it...
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a234/tk1511/spider-costume/german_spider_5.jpg
And here is myself only 4 years ago:
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a234/tk1511/spider-costume/germanspider_3.jpg
But now the latex peals down from the suit... may be it's because of the glue or the silver paint... latex ist NOT a very good idea.
So i've decided to start a new suit...
And here we are... over 10 years older and still the little boy who loves spidey... :)

Anyone else think the new lenses look like a bad replication of the original movies suit? I feel the originals were a good interpretation from comic to real life ... but these are just a copy from real life to a slight change from last time.
I kind of would have liked to see a set of big lenses on there. I was never a fan of big lenses on the movie suit but I saw a rendition of it by a forum user a couple weeks back and I was hoping for them ever since.

I don't mean that the webbing would be the problem. How would you hold the parts together while wearing it?
How would you avoid the top slipping out of the pants?
How to avoid to "boots" slipping down to your feet?
I guess, THAT would be the real problem.
And... like Brad said once before: Don't use the word "velcro" together with "lycra", if you are thinking about that at the moment. :)

I bought a comic book style suit back in 2002... 7 pieces. The top was the kind you step into (after putting on the pants), and it zipped up the middle of the back.
The boots and gloves attached by a small hook system. The mask was simply tucked in at the neck (the neck was high like a turtle neck).
Hard to get the webs to "line up" when putting on the gloves, but was a cool costume. I still have it, but it was worn a lot.

The boots and gloves attached by a small hook system. The mask was simply tucked in at the neck (the neck was high like a turtle neck).
Hard to get the webs to "line up" when putting on the gloves, but was a cool costume. I still have it, but it was worn a lot.
I was thinking of something along those lines...was that commercially made or custom? I thought I saw a pic on the boards of someone with a 7 piece....

LOL...and I was anxious to ask you that question Brad. But now that you mentioned it and brought it up to my attention I guess its ok to ask.
Are you looking to make suits in pieces in the near future instead of a one or two piece suit I would love to see how your suits turn out as a 7 piece suit using Stur-ups and Clip-ons where the gloves come off the mask the boots, pants..etc im sure you get the point.. Although, I also do see your point in keeping the movie suit design as a one piece very simple..but then again when a 5 or 7 piece design movie suit comes along?? :woot: Maybe in the future you could show us something like this in either Urethane or Printed that would really be something to look foward to seeing with your designs.:woot:

So far I think I'm the closest to having a Screen Accurate suit :lol
Because...
I HAVE found the shoe guys... I just wanted to make sure everybody knew it was me :lol
Praise me!
Anywho, I give you, Spiderman's new shoes:
The ıASICS- GEL Dirt Dog 3: A light weight cross-country track & field shoe.
The Red/Black/Silver scheme is what you're looking for, I got mine from Amazon... and they're not too expensive!
http://www.amazon.com/ASICS-Mens-GEL-Dirt-Track-Field/dp/B0028N7BMC
Regarding preparing the shoe for attaching the upper, it appears like it would be pretty easy. The cleats on the bottom are removable, and even though the spike holes are still there, it is rather easy to walk in. (They are VERY comfortable btw) I imagine that to get to screen accuracy all I'd really have to do is sand down the existing sole, and then put down a smooth layer of leather. The graphics on the side come off nicely
*Note*-I used a seam ripper... I would NOT recommend using anything else! The thread used in this shoe is very durable, and using anything else might be hazardous if not for lack of control of a different kind of tool)
I am uncertain as to whether the tongue was removed or not... I'll need to inspect some closer pictures of the spidey boots to determine that.
Here are pictures of my shoes... one of them I have already begun modifying.

pleas note that the photos were taken both with my cell for close up shots and my new digital camera for other shots thats why they look different i am still trying to figure the new camera out lol also the fabric was just a straight print from my new file with no color matching yet so the colors will be be matched to the film and also to the promo postors

...actually we do.
That's how many of us came into making our own Spiderman suits.
(That's the part that requires the investment of time, the mental dedication to research materials, develop skills, and perfect technique).

That's the other reason. :)
We've seen suits in this thread over one or two thousand bucks... and we've seen suits under 500...
It depends on how much time and work you are willing to invest.
My goal is always to make a suit under 500,-
And so i always have to find a compromise between the costs and the quality...

I want a costume that isn't over $150 but still looks high quality if possible.
something like the universal studios suit:

btw is it possible to even buy that particular sui?t(despite that site listing it idk if the site is totally legit)
or soemthing liek the ultimate spider-man suit but of lsightly higher quality:

Not to burst anyones bubbles... but the ONLY way you are going to get a spiderman suit that looks *that* good... for under $150, is to make every single part yourself. ...Or buy one of those licensed suits (which, are designed to be worn by someone who is 6'0 and heavily muscled, or muscle-suit-padded.)
In any other case I can think of, most other suits are not under going to run under $300 dollars.
Zentai suits are about the cheapest thing you can get, but they *can* be modified to some decency.
Sometimes used suits pop up on Ebay here and there as well...
Like I said, the only way I know how to do it for under $150 is to buy all the materials yourself and make it... but there is a lot of risk involved with trial and error if you have never undertaken something like that before.
Perhaps you could buy all the materials and have a friend or relative help you sew it? Or teach you how to sew?
I would also recommend heading over to the Cosplay.com forums and start doing some research there.
As a means of inspiration however, I made this suit in 2005 (when I was 17) over an 8 month time period. I researched materials & techniques, and taught myself how to sew on my mom's old sewing machine. I used Brad (Spidey4fun), SpiderTim, German Spidey, and SpiderHam's old tutorials to make this suit from scratch. I believe that the TKComics pattern had *just* started circulating around that time...
This was my very first time sewing, my very first time making a costume.. and I'm still pretty darn proud of how it turned out...

It might have cost less then $300 in materials for Orlando to make his own suit, but making one for some else is a whole creature. He'd then have to input his time into the process and making a quality suit like that takes A LOT of time. Your best option is to do it yourself if you've a $300 budget.

Hey Guys,
It's been quite a while since ive posted on here but I figured why not drop by and share a few fun pics from some good 'ole Spidey fun I've had over the past couple years...
I spent some time in New York taking classes and while there I decided to give the whole "times square spidey" thing a try, considering I could use the extra few bucks and the SpiderMan at the time there was nuthin too special. Anywhoo here's a few pics one with me and the other spidey, who day got pretty angry for me taking his corner by accident lol.

And here's a pic from a kids camp "heroes day" thingy

So yeah, fun times over the past couple years. Before this past halloween I actually ended up converting the suit to a 2 piece, just so it could be more enjoyable for me to wear in social gatherings and maybe have a drink or 2 ;) haha. But I had some nice materials to work with so it turned out pretty good. I'll have to get a couple pics with it now to show how it looks.

One of Ollies older suits before he tackled changing his webbing molds which lead to weaker webs for his later suits. I'm impressed with the life cycle of the webbing on that suit. Wish mine held up that well.

Wasnt the molds that caused the problem. It would have old urethane that was exposed to moisture proir to usage.
Here's sneak look at the latest design I'm working on.

For me the red parts still look like a red latex mesh over red lycra.
The frames for the lenses can be sculpted and recasted in resin or something else.
But the larger mesh... will it really be gold? Should be possible. Best view through it should be a golden window tint with holes in it.

I'll be dye-subing the whole suit initially. Might look at making screens from the different layers at some point down the track but then you're locking yourself into one average size unless multiple size screen are made.

thats a lot of work for a suit its one thing to take a commision job and do all of that but for the average cosplayer i see that being costly and not really having it be worth the time and effort
but on the other side i say hell yess do it because it seems like a kick ass project

Just remembered I forgot to post this here: Copypaste from the RPF
Proof of concept:
Scour mesh over lycra, with a layer of latex on top.
In this case, I'm using Tulip's "slick" fabric paint.
Elasticity in the red is *significantly* decreased, however... It does still stretch a bit. If this was the raimi suit, I don't think this method would be viable... but since the reds in the Amazing Spiderman are minimal, I think it could work.
At least, I'm going to proceed with some more variations on the technique to see what results/ Improvements I may yield.

BRRogers, have you been experimenting with just the scour mesh or have you tried it with a mesh shirt or just normal mesh fabric? I know it would be more expensive to use those materials, but it would maybe help with the stretch issue.
The scour mesh was the most accessible to me for testing purposes... However I find that the honeycomb pattern is more or less ideally sized for receiving the latex, whereas a stretch lycra mesh or jersey mesh (being thicker), might appear too dense after a latex coating.
That's just conjecture on my part though, I would still like to test it on a variety of meshes.
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y87/Tsuyosa18/Photoon2011-02-24at1549.jpg
On the elasticity: stretch is effected by the absorption of latex into the lycra fabric, it does not have so much to do with the mesh put on top of it.
Like I said though, I could see the correlation between the way they sized the reds and the amount of stretch on the AS Suit as being a problem/solution based off of this technique. Knowing hollywood though, they probably used a custom silicone covering and not just 'latex covered mesh'.

If i would like the new suit, i would try to make the mesh out of latex and glue it with liquid latex to the lycra. I guess, the stripes of the latex should be fine enough to be flexible.
But like i said once or two times before: I still don't like the new suit.
So i better go on with my next raimi suit :)

Loctite All Plastics is your best bet. ... Bunnings Hardware. When you glue the eye frames on make sure the mask is on a mannequin head and line up the top back part of the frames with the webbing. The rest just kind of works itself out.

When making these suits (which all look awesome btw!) which zipper style would you say is ideal for a suit without urethane spiders? the concealed side zipper, or just your classic up the back zipper?
i feel like the side zipper is great and it gives that hidden zipper look , but then the up the back zipper might prevent the neck piece from stretching due to frequent usage. any thoughts?

After years of researching and studying Spider-Man costume I have finally made spidey suit. What I found is that Peter Parker is a genius! Making suit this complex take alot of math skill if you never sew this material before. Just making the basics pattern is hard and then you get to trun it into the spidey and making sure every lines up correctly.
This suit is base on his first appearance suit seen in Amazing Fantasy #15, Amazing Spider-Man #1 and last seen in Spider-Man Mythos. This why that this Spider-Man costume is red and black and not his traditional red and blue. One of the reason why I decided to make this suit is because it I make a mistakes It won't take away for the accurately of the suit since in Peter first suit he must of made some mistakes.
I was aiming for character accurately for this suit. In order to do so I had to put all of Spider-Man key features which to my knowledge this is the first and only suit with all of Spider-Man key features in it. Which is odd if you think about it. With Spider-Man the only inaccurately you can not get is the fact that you not Spider-Man.
Spider-Man key features #1. 7 pisce suit
Spider-Man costume at the lowest should be in 7 pisce (mask, gloves. boots. pants, shirt). Most people who make spidey suit make them one or two pisce (body and mask). The reason why they do is because it's look better and easyer to make. However one or two pisce suit are inaccurate and impractical for superheros for have. In the comics most superheros like Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man have shirt and pants suits. (Here's one very good reason why shirt and pants type suits are better for superhero. If you had secret identities it alot easyer to go to the bathroom without trying to do your business without takeing off the costume. With shirt and pants suits you can keep your civilian clothes)
Spider-Man key features #2. PUT THE BLOODY HOLES IN THE GLOVES AND YES THIS IS REALLY THAT IMPROTANT TO THE SUIT!
This is the number one key features you really don't see. It's not a hard thing to put in. Just cut a small hole and hem around the hole so it don't get bigger.
Spider-Man key features #3. The eyes.
Most people use white mesh for there eyes because they want a more comic book look suit. I fine this to be farer away for from the comics. White mesh is comfortable, hard to see through, inaccurate and impractical for superheros. However the comic explanation is better. In the comics the eyes are mirror plastic lenses that duel as eye protection.
Spider-Man key features #4. Making sure the webs line up.
This is one of the reason why Spider-Man costume must be home made. All store bought have the webs alreadly out on and because of this the weds don't look good. To get around this finnish sewing up the suit when you are putting on the webs make sure the suit is stretch out to your body shape to get the best result.
Spider-Man key features #5. Putting something on he feel so he can grap.
This go under a rule I have for superhero is DON'T COMPROMISE THE POWERS this is much as a safety rule as a strength rule it also explan why some superhero wear spandex. However for cosplayers this sometime may not be very practical but it will add to the accurately and make it more authentic. Just make this soles of the boots out of a red denim like material.
Spider-Man key features #6. Under arm webbing
This isn't a key features but anyone who put under arm webbing in there suit is awesome.
Spider-Man key features #7. Think like Peter Parker.
When Peter is making his costume he more then likey is making 3 suits are a time. So try to have a budget Peter may have in your mind when making suit and remeber he is genius so you can use a professional qualitie pattern if you want to but try to have all the key features in the suit.
Here a Tip: The blue in spidey suit translate to Navy blue. Because the way the comics describe the way the blue in spidey suit reacts to difference light condition translate in to Navy blue becuause the blue disappear when it dark around it and only the red in the suit is showing. So remeber this rule of cosplay MATCH THE COLOR BUT THE TRANSLATE THE SHADE.

Hi.
I have just discovered this thread and wanted to pose an inquiry.
I want to make a replica of the suit from the first Raimi film.
What materials would I need-particularly for the physical designs on the suit? I have been skimming on the past few pages, but since they're graphic heavy, it has been putting on a strain on my petty connection. Returning to the suit, I would like to make this myself, so time is not an issue on it. Any direction/clarification is appreciated.
Thanks!

Don't take my word for it, but I think it might be a little cheap? If it's really what it claims to be. Also, those pics are of a suit a guy called 'spidermilk' made, unless he's spidermilk (which I'm not saying he is or is not) he's most likely fake. :awesome:

Hi eldor it is mine, so yes I have a few to sell to make up the shortfall I need for the current costume i'm building.
I am getting rid of the old accessories I have never made use of and why because I am moving on the a fresh set of stuff.
To those asking about the pattern i offer.
I made the mistake of deleting all my inbox messages instead of my sent ones to free up some room to even message you guys back. There were several of you.
I did manage to read a few messages before, Let me just say I think if you get 300 more post here I will send you the password, 1 post rep and not saying please is not gonna get you this free pattern. So please im again, with a request and i will send you password.
JesterFx luckily, I saw your IM, will email you. Figures crossed I'll be back in a couple of months with something to show. btw the new spiderman costume...surprisingly intricate it looks to me.

I know absolutely NOTHING about costume design. Still, I'm an avid spidey fan. If peter parker is just a kid, chances are he didn't design his costume with all of these cool advances. If you want a realistic spidey suit, I would just recommend getting a zentai suit or getting red and blue compression clothes, cutting them and sewing them together before getting some sort of clothing marker. If you want the muscles, I know there is a guy on this forum named stanleewannabe that sells the fake muscle for tight suits. It should be an all around realistic-to-the-comics suit. The only problem I can think of for this costume would be the mask, but you guys look like you have a handle on that and the lenses. I know I am in no way even close to you guys when it comes to the mighty costume making skills. I just wanted to throw that in there.

Alright, I have a question on the lenses, How do you attach them? What kind of Glue, If I don't plan on using a faceshell

I'm using 'Loctite Super Glue Ultra Gel' on mine. :D

Is it difficult to attach, I really wouldnt wanna spend like $200-400 on a pattern to screw it up on the lenses.

Get a mannequin head to wear your mask before gluing and get it all lined up correct first. You can ruin the look of your suit SOOO quickly by gluing the frames incorrectly.
hero888
05-04-2011, 02:44 AM
I blow up a ballon and insert it in the head. I also use Locktite super glue ultra gel. When you finish glueing just pop the ballon and voila!

05-04-2011, 06:07 AM
Well, if your really worried about the positioning, maybe u could draw a faint outline of the eyes first? Maybe with a pencil or something, so you could rub it out. I have never tried that out so I wouldn't know if it works :csad:

Spider-mandrew
05-05-2011, 02:09 AM
you could wear the mask and outline where you want the lenses to go using chalk or something, then take it off and glue accordingly. and yes it is SUPER EASY to ruin your mask with a bad glue job.

does anyone know the pattern/layout for sewing a spidey/full face mask? i dont want the print or anything just the sewing pattern, I have a mask that came with a zentai suit, but theres a sewing line coming down the forehead and a stupid chin section sewn in, the masks on these spidey suits dont have any lines in the way of a face front shot and thats what im looking to achieve. again, not trying to use a print, just a method for sewing the mask like you guys. any tips/help would be super awesome! I figure if im going to do it i might as well do it right like the pros!

It is a realistic take on peter's suit that he could get with the wrestling money he won. It is a fiberglass hockey mask, a spyder ski suit, but I can't afford one so I will come up with an alternative, some tac gloves, or any workout/bike riding gloves you can find, some ski goggles, some super sculpey, a sandblock, red and black spraypaint, and a dremel and superglue.
I am going to start very soon, and I might post my progress depending on how busy I am, but I will for sure show the completed suit.

Well I hope alot of you understand why this board is dying slowly but surely for this particular matter lol
The last pic isn't even an official picture. It's a set picture. The rest of your post is so ridiculous that I'm not even gonna comment on those parts.

Hey all sorry for the lack of communication via email or on any message board or facer book nameless hero is correct I have been tackling so many things because my printer has been giving me total crap with the spidey suits the first test piece came out epic than she printed your orders all crap so a 2nd batch was mad slightly better but still crap now I am working with a new printer that I have to send the file to and I have seen their prints for spiderman costumes from a mutual friend and I am happy and confidant they can hit it on the mark. i truly do apologize for all the delays just being a fan and a cosplayer I don’t want you all to get a suit you will want to send back. I always follow through sometimes I may take a while since I work alone but I wont ever not deliver the goods.
The holy texture along with the seemingly intruded lines look like the textures of a basketball. Is this just an optical delusion or...?

Just throwing it out there that I've bought copies of a whole bunch of Jester's molds and will be offering them...
1. Urethane spiders - front and back
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y217/Spetsnaz13/WebSite/ui2ik53bf82852dviewattth128adda568a.jpg
Prices: $55 + shipping for either front or back spiders. $90 for the set.
2. Spiderman Face shell
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y217/Spetsnaz13/WebSite/spideyshell.jpg
Price of faceshell: $160 + shipping ($10-$15 depending on where you live)
3. Movie-style frames and lenses
Made exactly the same way Jester's were. Mesh with pearl white on the front, black on the back with lenses in front
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y217/Spetsnaz13/WebSite/lenses.jpg
Due to the cost of doing them in glass and getting the right curve, the price is $150 for the lenses. If a lot of people buy them, the cost will go down.

Hey, this looks nice thats exactly how the New Spider looks.. although I wish they would have used a dark Grey Urethane Spider for the Front and a long legged red Urethane Spider for the back of the new Movie suit..who knows maybe they will do that for the second movie :cwink:
Thanks a lot for the compliment Spiderman0884!
But hey guys, what happened here?
This place used to be full of life during the Raimi movies when everyone had official prints to sell. Now it just seems... dead.
I really like where Orlando Spider is going, figuring the textures out on his own like he did with the black suit's wet look back then.
Can't you big guys (and girls?) do the same? You don't need a leaked photoshop file to get you going. Just start!
Look, I even traced spider emblem to get you going. Use it however you want. Improve it even if you see necessary.
Here's some extra tips:
- The pattern on the suit is actually a honeycomb texture, not a brick texture like the Raimi suit. It is raised on the blue part and just printed on the red part.
- All the stitching is done with black wire.
- The mesh in front of the eyes "seems" a bit less fine than the Raimi mesh. The eyes are clearly visible.
- To get the that intruded look for the web pattern on the reds, they just printed the web and layered a raised one right next to it. Just look at some hi-res pics to get what I'm saying.
Anyway, I hope this'll help kickstart things off.

LOL your welcome.. yeah that Spider looks nice.. You know inregards to this board being dead im saying the same thing..it turns out that not everyone is a big fan of the new movie suit..I am kinda the same way due to a new change when I first saw the New Movie suit I was like "NO WAY! Hell No! How could they do this to Spiderman? They officially ruined the Spiderman reputation" I was bumbed out because they went to a whole new direction with this new movie suit..the textures are different the designs even the spider of course..it just didnt feel the same as the first movie suits even the first images of the movie suit were not to convincing because the frames and lenses look terriable the shoes looked really awkward..compare to the boots that Tobey Maguire wore in all 3 Spiderman Movies..but after they released the darker version of the movie suit im like hey this movie actually might have potential I find that everytime regardless of the Superhero when they release photos of the movie suit its that way with eveyone hero, it was like that for me when the new Batman suit came out in The Dark Knight I didnt like the center part of the suit with the 2 bats in the middle, even when Iron Man 2 came out with Iron man having a Traingle on his suit, with the New Superman Movie coming out in 2013 I didnt like that they made the S design like the old version reminds me of back in the 70's when Christopher reeve used to play superman with those long boots.. I didnt like it at first but then it just blended in some how and became great. now going back to this thread?
..I see that no one ever came out with the designs of this new movie suit guess not alot of people were big fans of it unless they are working in secret on this new design..I would actually like to see if someone can come up with a this really cool movie suit design and make it unto a reality Movie suit for eveyone to purchase..I hope they are the dark designs with the dark balck lenses that would be really cool to see. Something like this one here with the dark blue and red colors and the black/grey frames and lenses :)

Hey Brad can I get an estimate on an ultimate suit with these frames and a removable mask?
