Who was your favorite character in the movie? For me, it was kind of a tie between Baroness and Stormshadow with "The Doctor", Snake Eyes and Zartan all vying for third.

I'll have to say the Cobra triumvirate, Storm Shadow and Ripcord. The first three are for pretty obvious reasons. Storm Shadow, to me, was what made Snake Eyes' fight scenes cool/badass. And for Ripcord (a controversial choice, I'm sure); sure, he was a silly, useless buffoon in the movie. Nonetheless, that very aspect provided a crucial and much needed factor that helped up the camp to epic proportions.

I thought Hawk Was spot on Perfect.

Snake eyes was awesome too but I think they needed to showcase him more outside of action scenes. I know the quiet guy is hard to do but I think they could have.

Hmmmm. I think it's very telling how people are kind of iffy on the Joes but everybody seemed to love Cobra. I hope they think about that when the make the sequel. Keep up the good work on Cobra and improve the Joes.

The Doctor before he puts on the stupid Commander mask, Zartan was badass and than Baroness when she was fully evil and not having flashbacks.

I liked the Doctor/CC. He was so mean. Just a mean bastard. I like that. Joseph Gordon-Levitt got a lot of flack, but he delivered.

Gotta go with Snake Eyes.

I also really liked Evil Baroness, not "good" Baroness. Evil Baroness was deliciously evil and I sure hope she becomes evil again in the sequel.

Voted for Storm Shadow. In a movie that had huge continuity problems you gotta like the nods that they gave to comic continuity with Storm Shadow that the casual fan would NOT have gotten but the geek would know... for example 99/100 non GI Joe fans will assume SS killed Hard Master as you see him fleeing through Snake Eye's perspective but we all know that's a setup. Also 99/100 noobs will think SS is dead... when we all know he'll be back for the sequel and he's been "killed off" in the past always to come back

Finally I had no idea who Lee Byung-hun is but he's evidently some huge star in Asia and I'll admit that after seeing the movie he's got more of a presence than the dude who played Duke and all the Wayans brothers plus nephews put together. He did a lot with very few cheesy lines and I liked how even if you knew nothing about GI Joe you walked out understanding the long/complex history Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow had.

This movie was cheese but basically you can say Lee plus the dude who played Destro actually were good in the movie and that's about it. Sienna Miller walked around being hot but she came off as sort of cheesy and slumming. Rachel Nichols is hot as fuk but you cant really say she's actually a good actress. The dude who played Duke was teh suck and Cobra Commander seemed as if he couldn't decide if he was channeling Darth Vader or Dark Helmet from Space Balls.

Baroness was my favourite too. I also liked Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow and Scarlett.

Scarlette and Baroness were super hot, and i thought Sienna Miller was great. but voted for Snake Eyes. Ray Park is such a beast, not only were the stunts and fights all great, but the subtle physical nuance he had even in quiet moments were perfect. he even hit some classic Snake Eyes poses. great stuff. and Storm Shadow was his perfect foil, Byun Hung Lee was awesome, loved his voice and demeanor.

The Doctor for sure. Great cheesy villain lines delivered menacingly.

"A Moving ceremony, I'm sure!"
"Kill the Joes, kill ALL the Joes! Detonate the ICE PACK!"

Baroness was great when she was bad but all of her silly moments of weakness, flashbacks and ultimately when she flips sides, well that just made the character a bit of a disappointment and hard to really enjoy her character as a whole.

Just saw the movie and I really think its the best summer movie this year by far.

Destro was fine but I hope he'll get more to do next time and I think all the scenes were fine.

Those drillpods are so cool reminds me of Krangs Modules from TMNT cartoon.

I do hope for more Destro and Voltar next oh and try to keep same actor aswell. Christopher Eccleston was good.

Not familiar with the lore, but Snake Eyes was awesome, loved it when he beat Stormshadow and their rivalry was the best thing in the movie for me, but SE was the best character, hopes he gets fleshed out more in the sequel.

Mind you none of them were--well written. But the top 2 were played pretty well and the other three were the only ones that left any memorable impact.

I agree with 'Big Lob' on this. Levitt did get a lot of flack, and did deliver in the end. By far the best actor in the movie. I also loved Christopher Eccelston, Byung-Hun Lee and Jonathan Pryce.

Storm Shadow and Cobra Commander ade the movie.

Storm Shadow was just bad ass and cool the whole time.
Cobra Commander did indeed deliver those cheesy lines menacingly. Classic. The stupid plastic mask he puts on at the end sucked. His voice was at it's best when it wasn't filtered too.

Duke and Ripcord were terrible. And the main characters- which makes it worse.

If you ask me, Zartan was the most solid character in the entire movie. 'Solid' is what I was hoping for from a G.I. Joe movie. The rest of the characters were like watching a bunch of schizophrenic's crammed in a small room while on acid. Entertaining, sure, but it wasn't G.I. Joe.

After a few more watches, definately, definately Snake Eyes, easily the best character and wish we would have gotten more of him along with Storm Shadow, their fight at the end should have been a bit longer.
