MTV Splash Page blog editor Rick Marshall says, "I interviewed Stan Lee during Comic-con, and asked him about that late-'90s deal that almost had him and Michael Jackson buying Marvel Comics. During his response, he mentioned that Jackson wanted to buy the rights to Spider-Man so he could make a movie... or possibly to star in it?! It's an intriguing "What If?" scenario, if nothing else." Yeah looks like he would of made a great Spiderman film. He seems to know and care for the character and know how Spiderman is. As for the dancing ohp lease yes it could of been better. Especially the Peter Parker dance scene.

I don't see anything that would qualify Michael Jackson to helm a Spider-Man film. He could of choreographed the dance scenes in Sp3 but it wouldn't of made too much of a difference. Also the world generally hated MJ before he died. There would be about a hundred jokes and such all over the media if it was ever to happen.

As the producer of some of the greatest videos in the world, I think he would have been very faithful to the source material. But everybody here is forgetting-Michael would have done what ALL of the Spidey and super heroe movies have been missing- A FANTASTIC SOUDTRACK.That's where he would have done HIS dancing-not in the Spidey movie.
