War Machine Hybrid
Dec 18, 2009 "Retired/Upgraded"
\/ below, old and outdated \/

designing this costume to be in the Movie Iron Man 2 when it come out :D and going to have more random fun with it.

Update on War Machine Armor.
The reason why my armor look the way it does. The reason being is that i used Phil Saunders War machine concept and balanced some of the New IronMan 2 Armor design in to the concept, hench forth a hybrid War Machine Armor. I seen the leaked Ironman 2 from Comic-Con San Deigeo 2009 and most of the design i did fall REALLY close to the War machine armor. so im really excited Hope you enjoy my journey of creating the armor

-Built material High Impact urethane
-over 600+ rivets and rivet washer used so far

Spec's so far
-Wrist rockets w/ laser v1.0completed
-Mini Gun simulated fire and drop lock system w/laser v1.0 completed
-Movie accurate Arch reactor v3.0
-Mid-section w/ movable plates v3.0
-"underwear armor" v2.0 Completed
-Leg's/Pants armor v3.0 Completed
-Armor shoes v1.0 Completed
-Neck cover piece armor v2.0
Things still need completed
-Replusor gauntlets
-Upgraded helmet v7.0 w/ upgraded flip open/close hinge system
-lighted eyes "in progress"
-remote firing system "to shoot bottle rockets hehehe"
-replusor gauntlet top cover.
-Paint job with brush metal finish.

not really too many cosplays in mind, like Ultimate IronMan, Iron Patriot, Ironman MKV, Gundam WingZero Custom, Iron Monger "full scale lol", Mark I Halo Hyabusa armor. i might tweak the war machine some more but thats a maybe. :D

im sorry but im not going to reveal my work. i actually see very well out of the eyes. The open flip helmet is a Brand new hingde system i came up with, very strong and very stable. opens like the movie and close as well.

The film has finished being filmed. Maybe if it was still being produced, it might be possible, but I think it's unlikely since the movie is done and is in the process of being edited.

quick update

final test of the War Machine motorized mini gun. Still in the finishing stages "outer casing" hope you enjoy. Also the helmet is back on track and correcting a couple of things to make it look more intimidating. :D, Also sorry i haven't been updating, i ran out of rivets and got some today so i should post some more updates soon, or maybe when it post worthy ready ^^.

Now that is ****ing kick ass! to the extreme. You finally did a bulked up version using the methods of the previous suits and it looks a lot less flimsy as a result and matches the size of the helmet. You should go back and do a semi bulked up version of one of Iron man suits, somewhere between what u got going on there and and what u did previously and see how that turns out!

New upgrade to suit the Iron man 2 movie War Machine, still need to do a test fit with all of the armor on. enjoy. Finally finished the war machine helmet, the one I'm wearing is the first and final cast, over 100+ hours been put into the helmet. It was collab with a buddy of mines who helmet me with it since i was at a time constraint. Over all thought, it pretty close to movie accurate. Sorry for camera quality.
