I think that it would be nice to show flashbacks of each characters previous adventures in the opening credits just so the audience you might not have seen one of the previous films and see the character in action.

Kind of like the way it was done it The Incredible Hulk.

When it comes to setting I hoping that New York isn't overdone. I have a feeling there would be some scenes there.

I wonder if the cameo of Cap's shield is canon in Iron Man. If it is, then there could be a scene with Tony giving Steve his shield back, Steve saying he had lost it.

I remember someone saying that the Shield on Tony's desk was just a prototype, and the real one was frozen alongside Cap. It would be cool if when Nick Fury assigns the Avengers their first assignment, Nick Fury hands Captain America his shield and says something like: I know how you like to do work, so here is your new advanced shield provided by Mr. Stark himself.

Maybe not those exact words, but if anyones gonna be handin Cap his shield, its definetley gotta be Fury.

Now raises the question: How do they find Cap and get him out of the ice?
I know the Hulk was gonna crack it in The Incredible Hulk, but since it was cut out, how can they free him?

Hell, how will they FIND him? Doesn't the rest of the world consider Cap dead while he's in the ice?

And now i will explain it anyways.
You see, since Red Hulk controls fire, if the Avengers fight him, they'll obviously want to go somewhere cold. They'll need to bring the Hulk to the Antartic, and he'll lure Red Hulk there, and Red Hulk will probably melt the ice during the battle a bit. After defeating Red Hulk, they could find caps shield, and also cap.

I know this REALLY unlikely, but its possible, and this thread needed a boost anyways.
