Your Thoughts, Speculations on the War Machine Armor

I've taken snapshots of the comicon footage as best as i could to find out what we are getting for the war machine armor.

Here we can see Rhodes placing an arc reactor into what looks like the mk. II. this shot was only a split second and i didnt notice it at first.

I wonder how Rhodes managed to open it up, add weapons to it, operate it, etc. Here he even seems to have disassembled it. If it was so easy, why didnt they make their own suit?

haha its almost as if Rhodes is suddenly as brilliant as Stark. Maybe he lets Hammer's crew take care of it and he puts in the reactor. either way its a little funny that he even knows what he's doing there

Movie Rhodey went to MIT. (He wears a Brass Rat, the MIT class ring, in IM.) So he may have a idea of how the suit works.

Hammer is a business man. Hence he'll work out some kind of deal with Rhodey. I'd assume that the military wants to build their own Iron Man suit (in the court scene) and Rhodey is the test subject to test it. Hammer builds it, Rhodey dons it, 100% pure awesomeness follows.

Which will almost obviously lead to a fight between Tony and Rhodey. Or maybe Tony needs help taking down The Crimson Whiplash, and Rhodey calls on Hammer to spice up the Mark 2. I'm assuming this takes place before Hammer joins wtih Vanko though.

Maybe he keeps asking Tony for his own suit but tony refuses so Rhodes turns against him.

Building a suit from scratch is much more difficult then reverse engineering a close prototype. Hammer probably makes modifications to the suit(ie he builds war machine) then simply simply giving them weapons. I mean Tonys machines take it apart with automobile tools. It opens up to allow the man inside to escape. Operation seems simple enough. Its the troubleshooting that someone like tony would be needed for(like telling the suit to redirect power).
