I just finished watching Summer's Blood/Moon.

It's slow, but pretty good. Ashley and Stephen McHattie are really good in it, it's not as brutal as I was expecting but the story is pretty twisted and it unfolds sort of like a cross between TCM and The Stepfather. It's the the horror archetype twisted family movie would look if it were turned into a drama.

Obviously not. :whatever: But it's ridiculous imo to cast someone who is almost her complete physical opposite.

They may have realized in retrospect that it was a bad idea. But that doesn't mean that they won't make other bad casting choices in other movies.

What I was mainly agreeing with was the fact that we aren't "going crazy" because we are talking about a hypothetical movie because it came into the conversation.

I don't recall making any reference to the quality of the movies. I didn't like Alba for Sue Storm either, btw.

And it's rather unfair to say she doesn't have the range when most of us have only seen her in two movies that didn't give her alot to do yet, I've seen her in three, the third being Summer's Blood, that's the least well known of her films yet and it's her best performance so far.
She'd had one supporting role and one lead role, and she's played them both pretty well.
As for build, I'm sure anybody that takes a role like that is likely to work out and build up their physique.

I wish we can get Australian TV shows here; we don't get those kind of stuff even on cable networks except special ones like HBO and Showtime.
