The green hornet anticipation thread

Noticed threads like this in other boards, figured the green hornet deserved one. Personally, I've never really been exposed to the green hornet all that much, all i know is from the production of this movie and the scenes from that Bruce lee biopic, but i have to admit, I'm looking forward to this movie with a cautious optimism, I've liked what I've heard thus far . fingers crossed i s'pose. how about everybody else?

It's going to be a long long wait, and a lot can happen in 15 months time. I'm not really highly anticipating this movie because of that. However whenever we get a teaser, and some footage, that is when I will get fired up for it.

The movie is getting a lot of flak for Rogen being the lead and it's potential comedic elements. The show never had any humor and was quite serious. I've never watched the movie serials or heard the radio show, so I really don't know that history. I read only one issue of the Now Comic series written by Chuck Dixon.

Yea the 60s show is the only familiarity that I have with the character and it was like the Batman series back then minus the campiness. We`re living in a time right now where superhero movies are very popular and I think the GH deserves a crack at the big screen cuz I really enjoyed the tv show.
