SAVAGE CYCLES TEAMS UP WITH FOX!

Fox announces they have teamed up with Savage Cycles to create a Simpsons Bike for the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the show! Howard Nelson of Fox said, "We are very excited about this project, with the talent these guys from Savage Cycles have we can't wait to see the finished bike!" We learned that the guys from Savage also recently landed 3 contracts to design a Superman, Batman and most recently to produce a custom Green Lantern bike for Warner Bros. & DC Comics, to be ridden in the new movie set to release 2011! The recent exposure of the Simpsons, and Superhero bikes has not gone unnoticed, as Fortune Films and J65 Productions began filming a reality TV show pilot show at Savage Cycles in May! Steve Shreve, from Savage Cycles told us "We're stoked! It's been somewhat of a Whirlwind.....they (Hollywood) wants to see if some small town East Coast Boys, that build their bikes all "in house" can withstand the demands of Tinsel Town? Should make for some good TV!"

‘Axis of Steel – A Motorcycle Experience’ in Lancaster, PA!

Etters, PA – September 22, 2009 – The Ringmaster, entertainment mogul and host for many motorcycle events through Angel Marketing Group, LLC, answers questions today about the 3-day event, Axis of Steel – A Motorcycle Experience, scheduled October 30 through November 1, 2009 at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster, PA. “I think it’s time to explain what this show is all about,” starts the Ringmaster.

“Axis of Steel is going to be a fresh, unique ‘experience’ in the motorcycle industry,” The Ringmaster explains, “bringing a variety of motorcycles and entertainment that will be enjoyed by the entire family and appreciated by everyone involved.”

Planning for Axis of Steel started with the goal to create a well-rounded event. “We thought about what would capture our audience, but then also considered the non-motorcyclist. Everyone will enjoy our features!” The feature attractions for the event are: Savage Cycles, a corporate theme bike and custom chopper builder with many credits and recently contracted to build The Green Lantern bike for the 2011 Warner Bros/DC Comics movie. Triple Plate Customs offers a display of fabrication and design of metric motorcycles and The Anaconda, the World’s ONLY 10 Passenger Motorcycle. “We feel that this attraction will invite many unfamiliar to the motorcycle community, simply because it is a unique and street legal trike!” Source:http://www.delmarvabikeweek.com/savage_cycles.html

interesting find retro, my guess is maybe they will have a cycle of theirs appear in the film and be something hal rides during some point in the film or some other character.

I read somewhere that Ryan Reynolds loves bikes, so maybe they added this because he loves them?

i could see Hal riding a bike.

In the script, I don't recall him riding a bike..besides having that old muscle car.
