Hey all,
I have been off the boards more or less for a while. I have been away working on life...and something big. I have been working with a friend of mine sculpting Iron Man Armor. We completed the vac form bucks around a week ago and we have our first pulls off of them. The pics below are from before the bucks were completed or sanded. The suit is much cooler than I had hoped for. Here are a few pics. I should have a suit done and painted in time for Halloween. I will update more pics later.

The Shoulder missile housing was too tall here. You can see in the pics above, it's been lowered.

That is fantastic work!! I especially admire how well the joints match up. That seems to be a weak point on a lot of the suits I've seen. Do you have some sort of joining infrastructure, and if so, what kind, if you don't mind sharing?

WOW! Absolutly awsome! Looks like you stole Tony's armor!
(how did you made the ARC reactor?)

Thanks, its all vac form aside from the neck seal and stomach which are urethane.
there is nothing special about the joints, they are just jointed like they were in the
film. This suit was built to be functional bottom line, it is made to walk bend sit and
move freely in.
If anyone is interested in a suit, there may be a VERY limited kit run pm for info

OK....here's the situation.....TimDrakeRobin45 has been accused of fraud (advertising to sell an Iron Man suit that he did not make)....I have been given links to other sites where this has been talked about over a long period of time and where he has been banned from other sites for this.
As of this time....this thread will be closed.
I also post a warning to anyone who is thinking about purchasing a suit from TimDrakeRobin.....be very very very careful before doing anything. Things are fishy.
Further actions towards TimDrakeRobin45's account will be reviewed by the staff.
