Meh, she's alright. I was kinda tarnished on her after my month long internet battle at IMDb and the Hype with that idjit known as Rattlerbrat. :whatever:

From the uber-hot gorgeous redmarvel:

If you had to choose between having some fun out on a public beach under a blanket or passing up the opportunity, which would it be?

Funny you ask that: I've had sex on a public beach. Several times actually. Once right behind the lifeguards little office thingy on stilts. So...I appreciate the opportunities. LOL :hehe:

From our host Comic-Oprah-Chick:

If PetuniaGate is in the Top 5, what would you consider the other 4 Scandals on that list?

*sigh*

Wow there are so many that I've witnessed over the years. I'd have to think about that for a minute. Let me come back to this one. LOL

Would you ever go skydiving or bungee jumping?

Oh hell no. I am not trying to crash and burn on the earth's surface. :o

Thrill-seeking is left best for the bedroom. The only protective gear I need there is a condom.

From Marx:

That's pretty cool man. Did you ever dream of going pro?

Man, that was so long ago, but I probably did. As a young man I was obsessed with making money, being an entrepreneur. I knew that the chances of getting into the NBA or NFL were slim so I was more focused on proven moneymakers: like being an attorney or doctor. I ended up being a firefighter, so so much for entreprenuership. :whatever:

You'd be surprised LS, you might get what you want. Mid-30s is not that bad. May-haps just a little later. But things are changing, and the conditions might play out the opportunity for you.

Ya know, I really do. :csad: Those were some of the best times I've ever had here. Remember the three-way battles me and Kel would have with Wetgorilla? And then the entire forum--despite our disagreements about aspects of the movie--united and drove him out as a collective? ******g brilliant. We don't have anything like that anymore.

Do you think constantly misspelling definite with an "a" is a sign of pretentiousness?

More like a sign of ignorance, but...okay. LOL

I got a friend who is a drag queen, so I feel for ya catching flack over things that no adult should ever care about.

Yeah. Although I must admit I have never been turned on or attracted to the whole drag queen/trannie/transgender thing. At all. I understand their struggle. And I know it's considered a part of the whole LBGT community but I just can't get with that. I've got a penis. I'm a man. And I celebrate that fact. And I like men and women for what God gave them too. If I ever laid down with a woman and she suddenly pulled out a penis from under her skirt I think I'd die. :csad:

As one who shared a bed with one for 11 years I wholeheartedly agree with you. :whatever:That industry should do well during the height of the recession. Far better than many industries. You probably will end up with a better net worth than most people :funny:

Law is overexposed, mostly because the BA is too common. There was a 20% boost in people taking LSATs this year. And there has been a decline in hirings annually this decade... And it's utterly pointless to go in law unless it is a top 10 school. It's not going to be pretty for a lot of people, big debt and no jobs.

Wassup T'Jai...welcome to the party dude:

What (if any) are your creative outputs?
I like writing. I also enjoy singing. Some have said I have a nice voice.

Are u currently reading any comics?
if so what are they?
Yes, but I just downsized my quota: Now, I'm only getting JSA, Astonishing X-Men, Teen Titans, The Avengers, Fantastic Four and believe it or not...Herogasm.

what do you find attracts you about fictional characters?

I'm more drawn to Marvel characters than DC's because the former seem to have more relatable struggles like my own. DC's heroes and heroines seem a bit too plastic, too perfect sometimes. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but they don't seem to have the same realness that say, the Fantastic Four do with their dysfunctionality.

Bush didn't help, and I am no fan. But my take it is a systematic thing as a result of certain decisions made decades ago by both parties. Like a snowball going down a snow hill. I think in 5-10 years, some major changes are going to happen no matter who is in government. It's going to suck for Obama and/or his incumbent, because they will ultimately be helpless to these (market) forces.

Maybe after that time period, you might get your chance to start up something, because entrepreneurs will be what they will need. Not bankers or lawyers.

Not sure I'd do it again though. The one I went to was a gay beach, and there were too many freaks there for my comfort zone. Everyone expects you to have sex with them like, "Why else are you here?" Yeah...I've heard that it's really not wise to go to one. There's usually nothing but people who shouldn't be naked there and incredibly horny people.

So true. A lot of orgy crap--and I don't do orgies. The men on that beach seemed to be really intriqued by me and my man, mostly by our physical appearance I think. He is Italian and equally ripped. So to see an interracial couple like us together raised a lot of heads (literally I'm sure) and brought a lot of quirkly attention. People are so curious and freaky and voyeuriffic. Well, I think the Kanye/Taylor Swift incident recently has underscored the importance of civility in the music world. Unfortunately, many of these music artists are so immature and stupid--despite the millions of records they've sold or how much money they've made. And so many have reaped the consequences of feuding via radio, just look at Biggie, Tupac, etc.

A great recent example of how acting petty on wax can kill your career can be found in Mariah Carey. She released that silly "Obsessed" single as the lead from her album as an attack on Eminem. It comes across childish and petty and it soured people's view of the album overall. As a result, it's bombing.

Make love, not war dudes. :whatever:

Hee´s a couple:

- Why are companies allowed to manufacture cars that go way faster than the legal speed limit?

- Why is American censorship so much more focused on cutting/restraining sexual content than violent one? Are they seriously implying seeing boobs is more damaging to our children and youth than seeing shootouts and serial killers chopping off ´people´s heads?

One of my favored X-Forum mainstayers just joined the party--finally!

From Justabill:

I come carrying questions!

Name two celebs you'd just love to make sweet sweet monkey love with.

Halle Berry. I don't even have to explain this, but my disapointments in her recent acting choices set aside, Halle is one of the most beautiful women I have ever laid eyes on. She's a goddess in fleshly form. Another stunning actress I find incredibly sexable is Morena Bacarrin...her short pixie cut on V is driving me crazy in a very upwardly mobile way, if you know what I mean. Where's the salivating emoticon?

Also, Chris Meloni from SVU. First of all, that man has an azz that defies gravity. :wow: Secondly, he reminds me so much of my ex; they have very similar macho mannerisms and their voices sound alike also. The HBO series OZ displayed this actor's prowess in all areas--not just in the nudity or sex scenes, but most importantly him being able to truly play a gay character that defied stereotypes. I could identify with him because he was a real "man's man."

Do you read current X-Men comics at all? If so, what do you think of the current stories?
Right now I am following Astonishing closely. I am overjoyed that Storm has returned and I'm hoping that Joe Q will somehow retcon all of the mess that Reginald Hudlin did to her and T'Challa in the Black Panther book--which is now a rag mag thanks to his non-talented hackifiedness.

I think Naomie Harris is the perfect Ororo. What say you of this?
She could work--especially in an Ultimate X-Men younger version of Storm. How is her acting though?

Milke, white, or dark chocolate?

I don't think it's anything new. That clause has been in action since the days of George Washington. It's the corrupt American way.

What are your thought's on California's Prop 8 and the anti-gay vote in Maine?
I don't think we will ever see gay marriage accepted in this world. Ever. And to be honest? It doesn't bother me. I don't need to be legally married to a man to profess my love for him. As far as I am concerned, I was married to David for 11 years...we shared everything, including bank accounts, homes, cars and the common cold.

Now I'm "divorced." And the break was so much cleaner to make without all of the legal red-tape that a legal marriage would've imposed on us.

Good point. It's hypocritical. Just seeing blood on TV makes me physically sick--I have an aversion to it. That's why I can't stomach shows like Greys Anatomy or Nip/Tip.

Besides, for many of us, our earliest memories as babies involve our mother's breast-feeding us. So I don't get what the censorship is about. Seeing a pair of boobs on TV is not going to scar me because I've been sucking on somebody's nipples for the greater part of 30 years anyway, so whathafuss...

The fight for gay marriage is all about rights. It doesn't bother you that you are not getting rights you should be afforded under law as a couple?

There was a story in the news the other day about a gay man who had lost his partner of 11 years. They owned property together, lived together, etc. They were a married couple in every sense of the word, but because that legal recognition wasn't there, the man was not able to claim his partner's body after death. You've gotta put things in writing. Wills and Power of Attorneys are extremely powerful in the court of law. After we had been together for about 5 years Dave--being the astute attorney that he is--made sure we started putting things in place legally for ourselves. Even now, if anything were to happen to David I'd still get a percentage of what he has. And vice versa. And we're not even together anymore. But it's in writing so that family or friends can't get in the mix and try to manipulate the money if one of us dies.

Now I'm "divorced." And the break was so much cleaner to make without all of the legal red-tape that a legal marriage would've imposed on us.Amen!

Working out hard at the Gym and then burning it off in the sweat room afterwards is very enjoyable for me. As I mentioned, I love the sports, esp. Football, wrestling, swimming, anything physical.

My No. 1 guilty pleasure? I especially enjoy going to Border's Books and getting a cup of coffee and just reading books for hours and hours, knowing damn well I have no intention of buying any of them. :) You thought I was going to describe something sexual in this space didn't you? For DC, I'd say it's Hawkman. His story is just intriguing to me. From Marvel, it's Storm.

Well you pretty much know my position, I don't think they have any business in the "marriage licensing" business any much in say a "friendship licensing" business. If people want some spousal protection you get special civil union contract that the two can agree on. How it is recognized religiously and traditional is left to the people.

Exactly. And ultimately is all I'm concerned about. As long as we can check into a hotel room, book flight tickets, get junk mail addressed to both of us, buy major purchases together, etc.,--that's all the "marriage" I need.

Let's get intimate! What clothes drive you wild on men and women?

Men: Wife-beaters, workout gear manufactured by Under Armour and jock-straps or boxer briefs. I do not like thongs on a man. Under any circumstances.
Women: Empire waist tops and gowns, gladiator-style pumps and thongs.

Marvel calls. They say you can write an X Title. Who is on the team and why?
I'd stick with a combination of the classics: Cyclops, Jean, Storm, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Forge, Kitty and Colossus. There is a nice balance of power in those folks. I actually thought the line-up from 2006/2007's Uncanny X-Men was perfect.

Do you cook? If so what do you think is the best dish you've ever prepared?

I don't care if it's just "on the internetz"--we have attachments to people and feelings to be considered also. A simple farewell would be sufficient and polite, especially after so many years active.

The last two questions you've posed will require some serious creativity and typing (and you know I can type a longwinded story) and I don't have enough energy at this moment to do it. I am going to hit the shower and then go lie down for a bit. But later today I'll follow up with your request.

No. Absolutely not. And not just because I have a very diverse ethnicity coursing through my veins, but rather because my personal interests are equally as diverse. I've never been an "Angry Black Man". I'd like to think I am defined by my inner strengths, not the strength I exert outside.

If you are ready to divulge... what went wrong in your relationship recently? Just FYI... I recently ended an 11 year relationship/9 year marriage as well... so I know how hard it is.

The Cliff Notes version of it is pretty simple and yet also complicated. Back in the spring I was in a very bad car accident. Dave and I, along with his sister and her husband were coming back from seeing Star Trek at the movies. Another man (who we later learned was driving under the influence) ran the blinking red light and smashed the passenger side of the car. Dave's sister was in the passenger seat in front of him. Even though the air bag deployed, she was killed. We rolled over and Dave was put in a coma. His brother in law suffered a broken femur (sp?) wrists, and ribs. As I mentioned, his sister was lost instantly. I was the only one that didn't sustain really serious injuries. I had maybe 3 or 4 just scrapes and bruises and that's it.

Well, once David came to, he was...different. He was (understandably) extremely angry and full of grief. But even though he knew that I was in no way to blame for the accident it was as if he somehow resented me for not only surviving, but also walking away almost unscathed. One of the first things he said was "Where are your scars?" I was like WTF?

I was totally supportive of the family--I practically lived at the Hospital and stayed by his side. But it wasn't enough. It was like he took his grief out on me. He treated me in this cold aloof way. Once he lost his temper and started throwing s*** and he said, if anyone should've died, it should've been me over her. He was having like a meltdown. And I realized that that was just high-strung erratic emotion talking and not the "real" David so I tried to let extreme comments like that pass. But it got worse and worse.

He totally withdrew from me and after several weeks told me that he just wanted to be alone and that my constant presence reminded him of the whole thing. This behavior really screwed me up mentally because I would've thought that me being there--as a survivor like him--would've given him comfort. But it didn't. It repelled him.

So after 11 years we split up. He will be holding on to the New York townhouse. I have the place in Michigan and we're still deciding on what to do with our house in California. To be honest? To this day I still don't know what the hell really happened. I can't even understand it. He is still extremly passive/aggressive. In fact, once we "accidentally" had sex and I thought that was a sign he was coming around but it wasn't. As soon as it was over, he literally got his stuff and left again.

Yeah, it's very true. I honestly believe that David may have even suffered some mental damage from that accident. He's not as organized or "with it" as he once was. Not as sharp. The docs say it's all post-stuff and he'll hit his stride again, but I can't imagine the pre-accident "David" ever cutting me off like this--over something like that.

I wouldn't be surprised. Something is not right. He's not..."complete" if you know what I mean. I mean, he is still brilliant in the courtroom--and along those lines nothing has changed. But emotionally he is not the same.

I check in on him sometimes by talking to his administrative assistant. I tell her not to mention to him that I've called. But I'll ask her how he's doing. And she'll say the same thing I'm saying: He's "different." She once walked in on him having a crying bout. Again, this is all natural and normal considering what he's lost. But I DON'T think it's normal how he's treating me. At least that's the way I feel about it. Does that make me selfish?

And she'll say the same thing I'm saying: He's "different." She once walked in on him having a crying bout. Again, this is all natural and normal considering what he's lost. But I DON'T think it's normal how he's treating me. At least that's the way I feel about it. Does that make me selfish?

You two were together for 11 years man. It doesn't make you selfish.

From Knowsbleed:

Would you say that you are selective about the people you hang around with... from an aesthetic standpoint?

Like the classic saying goes, looks are only skin deep. So no, I don't get caught up in a person's outer appearance. My friends are all shapes, sizes, heights, weights and colours. It means nothing to me. I will tell you this: I think it's unfair that some people automatically assume that I'll ONLY associate with those who are good-looking or physically fit. I am not shallow or a snob...and I've always known that one good fire, natural age (or even a tragic accident) can destroy my outer shell too, so...it's not even that serious.

Tell us about your style of dress... what is a normal outfit for a normal day; a night on the town; work clothes.

I'm not necessarily a name-brand guy, but I appreciate tailored, high quality apparel. So whoever makes that is what I'm going to wear. Right now I'm wearing an argyle vest w/ no shirt underneath, jeans and I'm barefoot. So I'm casual when I need to be. I'm not one for wearing spandex shirts or anything else tight like that except in the gym. Out in public I like to be a little more low-key. People can tell if you work out or not. I roll my eyes when I see cats purposely walk around with clothes so tight so as to say "Look at me and my mus-kuls". :whatever:

Not necessary. We see them dude. :down

What is your most vivid dream that you can still remember to this day?
Uh...it's pretty Rated XXX...I'm not sure I should post it here. But it involved some very creative sexual positions.

What do you hope to accomplish for the year 2010?
I'd like to see myself in another relationship. I don't like being alone. But I am also not interested in "rebounding" either for the sake of it. I am still holding out a little hope for David too, if for anything for us to be friends.

There are a few of us here that would consider 2009 to be a VERY bad year. So many things have gone wrong with quite a few of us and our personal lives... I personally consider this to be one of the worst of my life. What do you say about 2009?

Well, the first half of 2009 was fine for me. It was the latter half that has sucked so terribly. To be honest, times have not been right for me overall since 2000. The world is falling apart at a quicker pace it seems, since then.

Thanks for your questions Knowsbleed...

The I-Pod Man Returns...

Do people laugh at ur jokes?

I got runner-up for "Class Ham" in my senior High School, so I think I am happiest when I get other people laughing and enjoying themselves. I love seeing people's teeth. :funny:

How would you like to end your '15 Minutes'?

With this:

Thanks to all of you for a fantastic discussion. I mean...wow. Seriously? Wow. I honestly never thought this 15 Minutes would go past 2 or 3 pages because I'm a Mod and generally we're considered to be significantly less than cool. So I'm truly humbled by all of you coming out to my party. Big ups also to Comic Chick for being such a great host.

See you all on the boards.:up:
